The events of Virginia Tech have saddened the world and many entertainers have announced their sorrow and how they will stand by those affected however Simon Cowell was caught giving sharp and impatient looks when Chris Richardson was making a statement about these events. Apparently whilst Richardson said "My hearts and prayers go out to Virginia Tech. I have a lot of friends over there. & be strong," cameras caught Cowell rolling his eyes and tapping once with impatience whilst Paula who was seated next to him was seen nodding her head in agreement.
Cowell explained the camera shot by saying ‘I was saying to Paula, `What does he mean? He sang nasally on purpose! I didn't understand what he was saying.' So I hadn't even heard what he did. Then my eye rolled, given what I was saying to Paula,".
So Cowell allegedly wasn’t rolling his eyes at the comment but at the nasal performance –fair enough! But this problem really seemed to get to Cowell, he told Seacrest: “I didn't hear what Chris was saying," "I may not be the nicest person in the world, but I would never, ever, ever disrespect those families or those victims. And I felt it was important to set the record straight." Well take a look at the image that’s Cowell’s face when Richardson was making his statement, was he being disrespectful?
