Lebanese singer Haifa Wehbe has made it into the list of the 100 most Influential personalities in the Arab world for the year 2007.
Haifa came in at number 53, and that's not to be underestimated because she comes in among a whole list full of names of businessmen, politicians & diplomats!
Haifa was chosen because of her huge popularity which has gone beyond the Arab world; she isn't only beautiful, but she is also socially active and has done some work for humanitarian causes.

She was previously chosen by the BBC as an ambassador for encouraging the Arabian youth to learn English.
Haifa has also made it before to an important list, the worlds 100 most beautiful women, which was published by Ask Men website.

I know lots of people doesnt like haifa for the way she dress. Yet, i really like her character and her personality . I really loved her on Al-Wady it shows her real character. Watch the video waleg published before about Hayfa talking about her daughter and she hasnt ever seen her . She is a human being if she doesnt wear probably this is her relation with god we dont have to interfere ourselves in it .Her songs are nice i mean in the past we had sou3ad hosny nelly sherihan those werent like oum kalthoum but yet we were listening to them . Those were the people at that time and dhayfa is the one at this time . I like her songs it is nice and her personality.
Haifa is a clever businesswoman. She sells herself well.

Hell I respect Haifa more than I respect many others. She has always been like that, and she is doing extremely well so good on her.
My disdain are for those that criticize her in the music industry while they are no better.
Even decent male singers use sex to sell their video clips, and then speak against "elighra2" in the videoclips.
And no need to get affronted on her behalf, she doesn't need your indignation.
As for the $1000,000, what an idiot for not asking for more if it's true. The Kuwaiti guy has not conducted himself any better, he is a bigger wh*re.
Who publishes the list? Who else is on it? What are the criteria? How is 'power' measured and defined?

hey, she's got it, and has every right to use it. all you girls on here that try to smash her there is no way around the fact that you know you are jealous as all hell...dont try writing here, comparing her ways to your 'religious' beliefs and stuff like that. you figure that writing about her in nasty ways makes you feel a little better about your own self...especially when you catch your man gawking at her on tv:)
