We all know of Al Gores attempts to educate the masses about the way we are getting ourselves into a huge environmental rut especially after the Academy Award Winning Documentary ‘An Inconvenient Truth’. It seems the idea of celebrities trying to save the planet has become a huge fad and so Save Our Selves environmental group has put together a series of concerts which will last 24 hours all over the world in an attempt to launch The Campaign for a Climate in Crisis.

The event promises to capture ‘more than two billion eyeballs’, the concerts will be held everywhere from the Giants Stadium in East Rutherford to Tokyo’s Tokyo Stadium! Some of the artists scheduled to perform in these concerts are: Genesis, James Blunt, Foo Fighters, Snow Patrol and Razorlight will share the London stage with David Gray and Damien Rice, John Legend, Bloc Party, Corinne Bailey Rae, Keane and Paolo Nutini and so it seems that all tastes in music ill be satisfied. So how will a bunch of famous people singing help the environment? All the proceeds from these concerts will benefit the Alliance for Climate Protection. Well done to all the celebrities involved in this excellent initiative to Save Our Selves.
