Syrian singer Asalah Nasri, renowned for her powerful voice, builds on the success of her latest album “Hayati” with new recording sessions. Asalah’s last full-fledged Khaliji-dialect album was her 2004 release, “Awgat”, met with massive success with songs such as “Awgat” (composed by the great Mohammed Abdo), “Terfaa Jebinek” (composed by Superstar judge Abdullah Gaoud), “Yesead Sabahak”, “Gemarhom Kellehom”, and the unforgettable “Meta Ashoufek”. Asalah, never one to disappoint the audience, has decided to record another full Khaliji-dialect album for her large and faithful fan base in the Arabian Gulf.
Asalah is said to already have several songs under her belt, such as a duet with Bahraini singer and X-Factor judge Khaled El Sheikh called “Dawlat El Hob El Mahzoum” (“The State of Defeated Love”). However, the most recent song which she recorded was “Allah Yesamhak” (“May God Forgive You”) which was composed by Fayez El Saaid, credited previously for composing “Tawwek Ala Bali” and “Raweh We Rouh” for her. He will also compose another song for her titled “Agrab Gerib” (“The Closest Friend”). The album will be produced and distributed by Rotana, in her fifth collaboration with the company, following her albums “Ighdab”, “Aadi”, and “Hayati”
