Yesterday best of starac dailies was about all fights that Shaza did in the academy. The first fight with Ayoub, the one of the kindest heart in the academy, then with Sally about simba, the third was with Ahmad about taking his cake without telling him, and last not the least with Carlo. This episode showed all the bad manners of Shaza with all students but the most phrase that she repeated in all her fights was: I'm older than you, you should respect me!
What was the purpose of putting them again and all in one time?

Hilda did say that she only had 4 fights in the 4 months, but the one with Sally was Sally's fault (come on now) It was entertaining hehe. The purpose? Im not sure, I just like the way Shaza doesnt back down, and she wont shut up to any man. What a woman!
I think the purpose was to emphasize that she has no manners and the worst attitude amongst all of the students. Her fight with Sally was absolutely none of her business and her fight with Ayoub was uncalled for. Nonetheless, her fight with Ahmed was alllll her fault. I'm surprised she never fought with Imed, but then again she knew better than that. In any event, she's already "the star" although 1 out of 10 would assume she deserves it. My personal opinion is she should've been the last to win. You want respect, you claim you're the oldest, then be the oldest and give them respect in order to receive it in return

They didn't know that CNN was "personally invested" in shaza winning, and that they would pay anything to see that happen. They showed shaza's true evil side, she definetely did not deserve to win. the purpose is that lbc wanted marwa to win and in the last week of star academy dailies they were making shaza look bad and marwa look good all the time. it was so clear. but looks like lbc coulnt do anything about it this time since people voted for shaza like crazy and an iraqi channel 'al-sharqiya' were following the votes and revealed that 7 million votes came from iraq alone, and many many votes from jordan, syria, khaleej, morocco, europe and america.
please dont bring politics into this, it has nothing 2 do with it. cnn was there because this year star academy made it big not only in arab countries but also in europe and america, and the final prime was considered a big event for arabs everywhere.

First off Starac wanted Marwa to win this whole season just like they wanted Joseph the whole second half of last year but this year it didn't quite work. Anyways the show was pretaped. But it's okay I guess because today was all about Amal being in love with Ahmad. It's all in the name of entertainment friends.
I think they are just dividing days by different topics such as love, arguements, pranks ect.
TO ANYONE who says CNN made Shatha win. It wasn't that big a story people! It made the news but it's not like it was onn all day or anything. Besides CNN does not have that kind of money to just throw around whenever they want to on a 15 MINUTE story. Besides people here in America pay almost 0 attention to any shows outside of America no matter how big they are (like starac).
Shatha won fairly. Iraqi's voted for her fair and square and so did people outside of Iraq. Namely me. But then again I voted Marwa and Mohammad too because I couldn't decide between the lol.
As for Shatha's arguements. Both of the arguements with Sally were SALLY'S FAULT and we all know it. The first time Sally was just sitting there insulting Shatha, and Shatha actually did not even yell at her.
The second one Sally was yelling at everyone, not just Shatha. Sally was wrong too because Simba was her responsibiliy meaning she had to bathe it. Even Tina and Mohammad told Sally that she had crossed the line and was being rude. Mohammad yelled at Sally to shut up lol.
The arguements with Carlo, and Ahmad(the silly one lol) were Shatha's fault. But Shatha did apologize so it's not all bad lol.

There are many ways to read into this, but since it'll all be left to speculation, I would rather not dwell on any of the possibilities. The only thing I can say is that LBC definitely had a purpose for throwing this particular episode together. Was it to show Shaza's negative side? Was it an "in your face" statement to all those who voted for her? Was it to show what a tough cookie the new Arab woman is, thus turning it into something positive? Was it to make a point about huge age difference that were of concern in the past. Maybe now they'll go for a younger cut-off age or start a little older. All speculations and no answer, but the only thing that was glaringly obvious is that LBC had something to say in the most peculiar fashion. Only time will tell...or maybe not.

I'm half American and although I'm not physically there at the moment, I'm on the phone or online with friends and family state-side almost every single day. A friend of mine in Jasper, IN (of all places) heard of StarAc Lebanon and asked me about the Iraqi chick who was causing all this media hullabaloo!!!!! The hype was aimed at the average American and European in Hicksville, USA and Bochem, Germany or wherever to show them the happy Iraq, the united Iraq, the peaceful Iraq, the new-and-improved made by the USA Iraq. With everything that's been going on in Europe and the huge rift between the white house and congress, it could've been well worth their time to give StarAc a small monetary nudge to tip the scale in Shaza's.....no in their own favor. And all this did was rob her of that oomph I was talking about under the other thread. She could've won on her own (in spite of that hot temper :))....I was sure of it, but now we'll never know.

the all fights shatha had during starac was not her fault,she was living with unmature ppl who couldnt even understad her. She was mature, had work experience, had finished her studies & had alot of life experience. She was living for 4 months with ppl who were 6-8yrs younger then her & were making big deals of everything, like for ex. ahmad & his cake.
The one obvious thing is that the ppl n our arab countries do not tolerate a person with a strong personality ( this is the truth unfortunetly)they always want to deal with a person who says yes to everything.
They cant handle a person who has a strong personality so thats why it gets too strange for them when they see that.

I have CNN and I searched for the story all day and it was not onn. I am living in America and no one has heard of it. It was online as a 15 minute story. It had only come on TV like once or twice it's not a big deal. It was also on the yahoo front page for half a day. But at the same time CNN did not give any money to LBC for Shatha to win, It would not have been worth it for them to spend that kind of money. As for the US government. LBC would not have accepted the bribe because they wanted Marwa to win. Trust me Shatha winning gives the US gov. nothing.
The reason this story was picked up was because Iraqi's had already shown tremendous support for Shatha. It was all over Iraqi news to vote for her. LBC wanted Marwa to win. The result was completely fair. No bribery I promise you.
Besides America gets no credit in the story. American invasion had nothing to do with Shatha winning. Besides CNN is a more LIBERAL news network that does not seek to glorify the US invasion and are infact against it.

last week before the final prime when the 4 finalists were in the academy and the other 5 student came to visited them as surprise , they were siting in the kitchen when she told sally it's nice this top u wear , u didn't wear it before, sally answerd that she has this stop from the beginig of the show, but didn't wear it, Shaza told her in a way like she's joking " 3amlaly 7alek bent Dog (but in arabic)" then Sally's shocked and didn't joke back , then shaza realized that what she said is a big deal then she tried to joke again by saying " ah , sorry sorry didn't mean it " and she was laughing when she said sorry.
Me and my mum were watching and we couldn't believe what we heard , then we asked each other " did i hear right that she said the word "" Bint K..."". and we found out that we two heard it clearly the same word.

I never suggested that CNN made any payment on behalf of the spin doctors of the US government. Although Ted Turner is more than capable of footing such an insignificant bill, I'm sure he wouldn't waste a dime on this particular event.
I also never implied that bribery was involved. Not at all. I'm sure it was all legit. When I mentioned a monetary nudge, I meant that Shaza's online voting account on the LBC site may have been flooded with $1.- votes. Nothing illegal about that. I admit that this is all speculation on my part, but you've got to agree that the reason I'm thinking this way (and I'm sure many others share these thoughts, suspicions, etc.) is because of the media hoopla that took place hours before the prime. I don't know how things played out state-side, but CNNI shoved it down our throats enough times to get us really suspicious.
In my other post, I said that CNN all BUT declared her the winner a couple of hours prior to the prime, especially when Hala Gorani was talking to Brent Saddler in Beirut and the other correspondent (I forget his name) in Baghdad. What I meant was that it was implied but not stated.
Did Shaza need all that? I didn't think so, but the hullabaloo certainly has us wondering now, right?

This girl has nothing to do with what goes on outside the Academy since she is surrounded by 4 walls and has no form of contact, with the exception of a phone that happens to be limited in it's few minutes.

On a previous article I expressed my disappointment and how sickening it is reading disturbing hate comments.
I was really shocked.
But now, I can say I'm not.
These people with small mentalities can say what they want and do what they want, they are simply looking for fights. They simply want to play about with people. Why? Well,...the only answer I could come up with was because...they don't have a life?
Anyways, let's say Shaza didn't win, for some reason. Then people would still be posting hate comments. I remember coming across a thread which was discussing whether Star Academy 3 was better than Star Academy 4; and when individuals mentioned that it was, others jump to assumption that the only reason was because of the Winner. I recall one saying "Sob7ana Allah, all this because a Lebanese won when he didn't deserve it." She even accused people of being Lebanese.
Can you believe it?!

People fighting over a winner and nationality.
Joseph Attieh deserved it last year because he was great. This year it's the turn of Shaza. I said it last time and I'll say it again, no one makes it to the finals by chance nor luck. You need to work hard to deserve that place.
And Shaza did. She made it to the finals, and won.
A year later, Joseph Attieh did not just release a single but also an album. Hani did a beautiful duet with Chris De Burg. Hanna is about to release a single, with an album coming out soon I believe.
Last year's finalists have all done well.
Insha'allah we see the same for this year's.

- After all, they were doing this for last 4 months . . so it doesn't look that they changed a bit after her BIG winning.
- Well, for us (Shatha's fans) that is what we like about Shatha beside her beautiful strong voice, her strong personality, her honesty, at least she a straight person & not fake. If she was fake she would do whatever it takes to look sweet in front of the camers. Who doesn't get angry once in a while??? Who never have a fight with a brother, sister, cousin, a friend??? or even with their mom & dad????
- As Shatha well said, she fight back because of certain situation, behaviour or attitude against her, not because of who is the person!!!
- In these days . . women can be nice, but also strong , confident, they shouldn't take any abuse or offensive behaviour against them . . that is what Shatha looks for me.
- After all what they did for her, She & ayoub, Ahmed become more close . . . she was always close to Ali . . he knows how to respect the girls, she was helpng Marwa & Ayoub with some songs, by the end . . she was even cooking Qamah, Carlo & Marwa!!!
- Obviously Shatha's haters . . see only the negative side & never accept all the positive things that were happening . . . Which (partialy) I blamed it on Star Academy producers.
- And Obviously Shatha was the STAR since first Prime & she'll always be Insha-Allah :)

- I never voted before . . I did this time . . it was so worth it this time & it wasn't 15 cents, it was $1 for each vote!!!!
- Imagine if Star Academy dailies wasn't focused on the nagative side of the stories . . how much more votes she would get!!!
- Fortunatly . . most of the people are smart & mature enough not to fall in believing in all these tricks!!!

Purpose of this is o rise so more remarks about this Iraqi lady:
1- As DDDD mentioned I heard the word of "son of the dog" several times (remeber when she found that the girls room was closed upon their arrival from Jordan.
2- She barely helped in cleaning the academy then at the last two weeks she totally refused to wash her clothes and asked sally to do it although she insulted sally several times
3- Shada admitted that she has been engaged with such competitions since she was 14 and never won before that made her decide to stop singing and complete her studies
4- Cheating in the results might not be acceptable to me even i m egyptian and i m prod of it because the iraqi media helped shada and both the iraqi and morrocan people voted for her
5- the dialis did not show all bad things, fo example her speaking behind tina and sally with amel which was revealed through an sms night
6- Shada was always saying that she is much older than all of them but it was not their fault (rember hany was the same age like her last year and never said such a word to anyone on the contrary he was admired by all) but she acted somtimes in a childish way like when she ate the choclate of sally and her reeating of the bad word "w7yat om el gabet omek" such word which Kama7 refused to be told to him at the last week if you all remeber

I have read the 15 cent info in alarabiya site, it was given by an Iraqi. He didn't say 15cents but he said 15 (centimes) so I figured it as 15 cents compared to the $...if you voted from Iraq using MTC service than this info needs double checking.
I'm sure Shatha got some votes from Tunis too if not many at least she should have had my high school teacher vote and maybe she split the kids vote with Marwa ;)...I just remembered her a fine Iraqi lady I loved her class, liked her "hessa" and definitely was taken by her astonishing beauty (I kept it secret though) ;).
So yeah congratulation to Shatha and please everybody move on...in the next couple of months we will enjoy them in the tour...we are lucky to see them in 2 concerts in Tunisia....you are all welcome to join.

The whole CNN thing was just a feelgood story (barf factor), nothing more nothing less, for us to marvel at the Iraqi's spirit, courage and the ability to still enjoy life. To show that there is hope still in that ravaged country, especially that their government(America) is responsible for screwing it up. You know western TV excels at finding such stories to play on their people's emotions...(let us say elwatar el7assess)...

A Real Star must have everthing, character,charizma,voice, respect,big hart all shada has is an ok voice that's it. For me the star should have been MARWA not for any thing but for here Amazing promising voice and for the CHARIZMA she had on stage, she attarcted everybody even the camera man on stage .
Osama Rahbani comments really indicated that a star shined in MARWA all she needs is a respectfull producer to adopt her and the days will PROVE HOW THE STAR IS. But here is something else to take into account.
If LBC are suming up the moments which are meant to be the most entertaining, for the sake of entertainment. Then by picking the moments that caused the most buzz and reaction from the public, surely would catch the attention of many.
Notice they didn't bring Shaza laughing about a certain joke or sms question. It was all arguments.
Shaza isn't the type that would pull a prank on people. She's nothing like Fadi, Rakia or Khaleefa from last year. She is simply a normal person; she fights, she cries, she laughs like any human.
LBC just picked the parts that were the most "entertaining" to watch. Which I personally found a little uncomfortable. But, it's their way of gaining attention.
It's not saying, that is what she is like all the time. It is simply saying, these have been the big incidents in which had her involvement.
Some sort of entertainment that is, eh?!
