The prime tonight was extra special for two reasons; one, the guests were Lebanese singer Haifa Wehbe & Algerian Rai singer Cheb Khaled, in addition to a special appearance from Iraqi singer Ilham Al-Madfai. Two, two of the nominees left by the end of the night & not only one as usual!
The 7 students that are left have done a great job in entertaining the audience & in making the prime interesting & full.
There were many tableaus & reportage's ... The tableau I liked most was the 'Cabaret' one in which Shatha, Tina & Marwa performed.
I also liked the jail tableau in which Carlo was a prisoner behind bars!
Haifa was stunning as usual! She was as cute & as sexy as ever. By the end of the prime she sang her new song 'Naughty' ... Not bad, at least there's a good message coming from it.
Tonight we got to know, which of the 7 students got the biggest bundle of money after all the weeks in the academy ... It turns out that Mohammad Qammah saved up $19.000 by coming in twice as top 1 & more times in other ranks ... Congratulations Qammah!
As for the nominees ... Ali for the 5th time, Tina & Qammah for the 1st time ... The audiences around the world gave most of their votes for Qammah ... Thus Tina & Ali sadly leave the academy after 14 weeks.

Congrats to Mohamed. He deserved to return. My heart goes out to Tina though...not that she's out, they're all going out eventually, but I hated her percentage. She deserved to get much more than that. The girl is talented to the core and has incredible passion for the art - more than many of them and should have been rewarded for it with more votes. Still, she's done well for herself these past 14 weeks and I'm sure she'll do even better in the future. She's got what it takes to make it real big.

Cheb Khalid is the king! Haifa is nothing compared to him. Sally only got to sing once and it's a good thing too because she sounds terrible. Everyone else did great today and Ali remembered his words lol. Tina was a very good sport and she will be in the tour. Ali was a good sport also and thanked everyone. Ali was one of the most behaved and respectful guys this year and I wish him the best.

It's amazing reading all your comments, who ever become a nominee than you forget about the others, last week everything was about sally, even that we all know singing is not her first strong aspects in her life,
as for tina i think she should have left before emad and amal, they always big tableau for her to cover her voice. she sings good but not well in english.
and now is kammah, and we all know that he is talented in composing song and playing instruments but he is not the strongest one in singing.
but what you all forget that he was nominee this week that mean there is better than him, so he will be again next week and he will leave with sally against carlo or marwa.
carlo is also not the strongest one but he does sing well, you have to admitted and better than kammah. even that is dislike carlo personality.
as for shaza and marwa, marwa sing very well, but she does have one tone of voice which is very good. but competition is about the best singer and the best one is shaza, different tone of voices she can sing in all languages very well. she can sing oum kaltoum song with any problem and that shows you how good she is. for me she is the best one.
but is that really what will happen, we saw a lot of unfairness past weeks, i have my own opinion but we will see what will happen.
shaza should be the star even that i really like marwa, she has a big potential in singing, if shaza was not there than she will be the first one.

I'm happy to see that Ammah is back. He deserves it. Hanadi, you asked about Carlo and his girlfriend...What happened was that every time he tried to call her he would get her answering machine. Later on when Carlo spoke to his mom she told him that Andrea's parents are not allowing her to speak to him or to go visit him during the prime. The reason is her parents don't like the way Carlo speaks to her. He is controlling and always asks her where she was and who she was with which makes it seem like she is with different guys every day. There relationship is not technically over...It was not Andrea's choice to end it. Her parents are not allowing her to have contact with him. However, after Carlo leaves the academy chances are that he will speak with her again. The reason he told Tina "From now on I'm a single man" is because he was angry.

Since the beginning of Star Academy 4,I have noticed that Mohammad closes his left eye while singing.I think he does that because he has difficulty projecting his voice.That means that he isn't a good singer(That's what my singing teacher told us a while ago).
Whatever,I still think that SHAZA has the Best voice in the Academy and she deserves more than ANYONE to win this SINGING competition.Don't you agree?
This prim was realy nice, I am happy for mohamed he needed to be back he is really good. 1)- The prime tonight was so flat. Carlo and Shatha tried to spice it up but still....less than average...they had much better primes.
2)- What these people did to Chab Khaled?!!!!!!!!!! he seemed hating the place...if not for Shatha connecting with him a little...for as long as I remember I've never seen him is such state.
3)- It's sad to see the GREAT LEBANON get reduced to a pathetic 1/10 of a singer look like....what in the world Haifa is doing there?( wallah hathi insanah haifah bsa7ee7). Sally can sing and dance way better than her.
4)- I wasn't sure how many songs Shatha will end up singing if she wasn't sick and didn't have to shoot the commercial....I still consider her the academy's best along with Marwa...but there is something called: being fair.
5)- I felt sorry for Tina getting that low of a percentage. She deserved better but I guess people thought she didn't have a chance against Ali and Qammah.
6)- What's the deal about the number of the next nominees? didn't get it.

hey yall what's up?? hope u enjoy, hope u enjoyed tonight's prime!!! it's almost over and i really hope Marwa wins, she has it all, the looks, the personality and most importantly the voice, Shaza is good as well but i dont know why they insist on portraying her as bossy, controlling etc... i guess i'll b happy if one of those 2 wins, i think it's about time we see a girl win and they both fairly deserve it so good luck to Marwa, Shaza and to all of the the rest as well!!!

Gr8 prime yesterday, real sad that tina left though. I was really expecting tht she would be in the finals atleast, because shes the only one in star academy that has the potential to be an international star! Anyway, Carlo and Shada have got my support now.

The first prime I enjoyed since Imad is out. Wow I am glad kammah is back. Merwa and Shaza was unbelievable at the prime. Omg one of them should be definitely the winner but hard to imagine how they would beat kammah in the voting. Merwa merwa merwa she was absolutely beautiful I don’t how some of you guys were implying that she is fat so ugly but God she is a clear example you don’t need to be skinny to be beautiful she was stunning. I loved Marwa's solo - she sang with such emotion for a young girl. Lovely. I believe she will have a long career as a singer. Shatha has a wonderful voice, too. I love to hear her sing. Carlo did well, too. I wish Ali and Tina good luck. Ali was a true gentleman and friend. Saudi Arabia can be proud of him. He sang well last night! Tina will be missed as well. She is creative and passionate, and that will bring success in life. Congrats to Mohammed. My top two favorite stars are Marwa and Shatha.

"la enta 7abeebe"( dailymotion and type marwa) the more I hear it the more she shines...it's very difficult song as far the tone and voice are concerned....I'm so proud of her she came a very long way.
Shatha did superb too. I think they pushed her too much, they made her sing 5 songs she was tired, sick and stressed...that's why she didn't perform that well in two of her songs......but let's face it Shatha's or Marwa's low performance is way better than the others best show put together.

Staracfan: I agree that Marwa sometimes goes off key at the end of a particularly difficult line of singing, but she shines the rsst of the time. Last night was not her best prime - I think I can safely say it wasn't anyone's best prime..However, I loved the solo she did. I listened to it over and over and, except for a couple moments when she went off key a little, she sang it so beautifully and with such depth of emotion, that I was amazed. There's no doubt, she will need to perfect her voice more and gain more control, but she has a stunning natural gift of singing with her heart and soul. Shatha has more control over her voice, I agree - and she is an amazing singer...but when Marwa's singing is perfect, her entire face lights up a room...and her voice is wonderful. She is a natural born entertainer. Marwa and Shatha are my favorites to win. They deserve it! Thanks for info Tunisian - I will check it out!
Shatha looked like hell in the Prime. Something about her hair and makeup; she looked like she was 40. And she didn't sound good at all.... I hate how she bosses Marwa and Sally around as though she is the queen; her ego is already huge and she acts like a diva. Carlo was by far the best student performer in this Prime.

I see you are into your music course and what your teacher is saying...I admire that. But for me and millions of people we don't' need a microscope to fallow every single note while listening to music...if we do...than more that half of our stars will be out of biz.
It's true that Marwa misses some notes and that's because of two reasons: 1) Yes she is young (she is getting any kind of couching only in starac for 3 months) and that's not bla bla bla...as you said she is not a professional yet...1 or 2 more years and we will all see.
2) She is not missing those notes in Haifa or Sha3ban Abderahim type of songs...Please show me who sings Fairouz and Ra7abani works perfectly?
By the way this competitions is not about talents it's purely about who votes more...who brings in more money.
Marwa got everything people love...she only needs time and experience....and obviously she can't do anything about them at this point...could people believe in her? wait and see.

Correction, Marwa did terrible in "la enta 7abeebe". She was trying to imitate Fairouz's voice which is impossible. Marwa actually does not sound nearly as much like Fairouz as she does sound like Majida el Romi.
Infact they need to give Marwa some of Majida's songs because she will do well in them like she did in her tableu she did way back on 3id.
I like Marwa but she is childish. She deserves to be in the finals and possibley the star.
Shada should not be a nominee after being given 5 roles even though she was gone doing the commercial 2 days. She did very well though they need to make her look more simple and less old. But to Staracfan, keep in mind though this program is most focused on voices there is definitely a little deviation. And though Shada is one of my favorites to win, there are other people who deserve it as well.
Mohammad did great in his nominee song and in the Iraqi song "Khatar". Infact he is the first none khaleeji boy ever to sng Khaleeji in a starac prime and he did it well. He has done very well since the beginning and should not be a nominee. He also deserves to be the star.
Carlo did well in his jailhouse tableu but in the end his voice is best for french he sings in a french style. He should not be in the finals and he should be a nominee this week.
Sallly only got one role because she isn't good for anything else people. It's that obviouse.

Wake up!No one's jealous of Kammah,Egypt should be jealous of Marwa and Shatha,they have feeling when they sing,when Shatha performed the Iraq song,i wanted to cry because it was so sad and she sang it perfectly, she was feeling every single word she sang!

so yeah, we need someone like joseph, great personality and voice, although he kinda changed when he came to the academy this year...
Actually Mohammads voice though it is good, does not measure up to Marwa and Shatha's yet. But on the other hand he writes and makes music better then anyone from all 4 seasons. He has real talent, just like Hisham is a talented actor. Mohammad actually sings very well in egyptian songs and his own songs. He has a unique voice though he has problems with shortness of breath. He is the best Egyptian boy candidate of all 4 seasons. Better then Attieh, better then Hani. So he does deserve to be the star also.

Then whoever wins I am happy with the result. I predict Marwa will actually win because she is walking a similar path to Joseph Attieh from last year(which I will explain sometime).
As for judging Marwa as a mature singer, thats exactly what I have to do. She needs to sing in her own voice. It's better to be herself. For example Zizi Adel from season two was only 17 yet though her voice had not fully matured she sang everything her own way and it sounded perfect.

I am talking about Sally's performance..she works hard and still has the best performance and body language....(she doesn't make us bored)
Ama7 has a great voice but no good performance....but he writes .. make songs...and now almost singers make songs for themselves:TAMER HOSNI , 7AMAKI , TAMER ASHOUR ..etc..that's why he is a real star....and performance can be fixed

Although I really like Shatha's voice a lot I have to say the last prime wasn't her even average performence....I don't know what show you guys watched? it's real funny.
Shatha in the last prime almost didn't sing at all with Medfa3e on the Piano...she was mumbling by the Piano all the time...it was strange from her...check it out and see for yourselves.
Shatha in the last prime made up her own song when she was singing what supposed to be 3ayshalek.She was off big time...she was making her own words.

You like her perfomance with Carlo...it was good...I think she was even better with Cheb Khaled.

Well, there is no doubt that Shatha is the most professional in the academy. She is also a wondeful singer. I will definitely buy her CDs when she records them - which I am postive she will do. However, I think that her age has A LOT to do with her success. She's had 6-8 years more experience than Marwa and the others...She SHOULD be better in her delivery and confidence levels. I give Marwa an A++ for what she has accomplished in just three months time...Bravo! I love Marwa's voice and personality, especially on stage - and I want her to win. However, if Shatha wins, I will be happy too. My main concern is that a wonderful SINGER wins! I am also sure that Marwa will be extremely happy for Shatha as well. You can see that Marwa loves Shatha and respects her talent very much. She looks up to her. Good luck to Marwa, Shatha, and the others..They've all done very well.
Ya guys it's a game and show that is directed by Rola, and you dont know maybe Rola wants the winner to be a Lady this time. It's all Rola's calls. Anyhow..as a personality I feel that Marwa(who adores Kaleeji boys), Shatha, and Sally are acting in front of the camera's. 1_50% nice voice
2_30% charisma
3_10% Good personality
4_10% Acting and Dancing Skills
Marwa applies all these while shaza only applies the nice voice and the dancing skill while she has no charisma on stage nor good personality.

As for all the Drama going on on the show, I frankly don't care much about, I want to watch entertaining show....I want to hear nice voices.
Believe me consider yourself lucky that you don't have a chance to watch your favorite star 24/7 for weeks...we are lucky indeed...some of the most famous, successful artists are down right disgusting nasty people (personality wise of course).
Marwa didn't and can't pretend to be sad for Imad, they were close to each other and whatever Imad told her I'm sure it was for a specific behaviour simply because he can see what she can't it's clear that Marwa is the most innocent,simple, spontaneous and outgoing girl in starac...she is young and she was making some mistakes along the way...so Imad being the great guy he is, had to talk to her.I myself wasn't sad when Imad left...he wasn't ambitious enough to stay longer...Amal and Sally wanted it more than him...on the other hand what I love about Marwa beside her voice of course, is her competitive spirit, the fire inside of her to perform(just watch her evals no wonder she is the only one that never been nominated), her stage presence is just adorable...she loves the camera...she is an entertainer she can easily capture the audience.
As for Shatha...could you please remember that it's a show tied to public voting...what you want her to say? Of course she is Khleejy, Moroccan, Iraqi, Tunisian, Egyptian...please don't take it personal...by the way she didn't live in Iraq at all...and it's clear she loves Iraq and proud to be Iraqi more than a lot of hypocryts benefiting and living in Iraq all their lives...just watch her performance in Bagdad...that expresion and delivery don't lie.

1st of all Shatha DOES NOT sing better than Marwa. She may have sometimes better control of her voice than Marwa....but let's face it let's give Marwa only 2 years not (8 years the difference between her and Shatha) and she will be on the the top 5 female singers in the whole Arab world.
Let's give Marwa the best of what Shatha sang and vice versa....Shatha will fail miserably.
No Shatha doesnt sing better than Marwa. Even though she sings well her voice is very typical, very predictable, doesnt have any varieties in it....remember Najwa Karam? she sings very well and is an astonishing performer but take her out of the Lebanese dabka style and she will get lost.
Shatha is Najwa Karam in this regard.
Marwa's voice needs some tuning but it is by far better than Shatha's.
Going back to what you said, if it turns out to be true than I'll honestly feel so stupid watching the show and will never ever watch it again...sure they are not going to miss me ;) but that's what thousands of people will do too.
