I do not think ahmed love marwa he did not show any intrest for her today. I felt so sorry for marwa. Ahmed acted like she is like the other girl. I also think the show does not want them to be together. Marwa you need to forget about him you deserve better. that boy is only a play boy

Ahmed if he did not have a story with marwa the show will never let him stay in the academy he does not have good voice. all the other poeple that left before him were much better than him. now when he is famous he did not even pay any attention to her when he visited. all this evening she was so sad. I hate that stupid damm ahmed

It's hard to tell what Ahmad's true feelings are...All I can say is that he is a much better actor than the academy gave him credit for if he has been pretending to care for her all this time. However, I don't think he was pretending. I think he does care for her...But who knows if it will go any further? It is so obvious she loves him - did you see her face? She just glows when she looks at him...the poor young girl. I think it must be first love for her. Anyway, if he doesn't care, then it is HIS loss, not hers. She is beautiful inside and out.
You know, I just thought of something. Ahmad said that he'd been watching the show...Maybe he heard or saw something he didn't like, and he is angry with Marwa...Marwa is close to the other guys on the show (like a little sister) and perhaps Ahmad didn't like something he saw after he left. He was jealous of Carlo before, remember? Just guessing...I may be wrong, but why else would he act indifferently in such a short amount of time, when before he left he followed her around like a lost puppy?

I do agree with most of what you said. Nothing is clear about Ahmad's feelings towards Marwa, especially after his visit to the Academy. He seemed so cold & distant with her. I can't understand how someone changes in two days.
As for her, it's obvious that she loves him & that he is her first love. I feel sorry for her but I'm sure she will overcome it. She is still young & for sure she will meet the one who deserves her.
She is an adorable girl with a warm heart & pure feelings & she deserves the best.

Yes, Bambusha, you are right. No one knows what is really between Ahmad and Marwa except them. We can only guess...and I DO believe, as you do, that he feels close to her. Only time will tell if anything more ever comes of it. Yes, Gazelle...Marwa has many years ahead of her, inshallah, and hopefully she will find great love, success, and happiness. She deserves it. My best to both Marwa and Ahmad.

By the way, have you noticed how mean is Carlo becoming with her?? Suddenly, he is showing the worst of his character & his jealousy.
Yesterday, he kept saying to her hope you will be nominee & will get rid of you. Also, the way he talked to her & treated her when they got the food.
One more thing, late in the night in the living room, he was making allusion to sthg & making fun of her. He was singing Feyrouz's song "Adeysh Ken fi Ness" (the one she was singing when Ahmed left) & he kept laughing at her with Sally & Tina. Only Kammah, seemed did not laugh & seemed so disgusted of his childish behaviour.
I start to hate Carlo for what he is doing to Marwa & I think that many Tunisians are starting to notice that. Hope he stops being mean to her as it is not good for him to gain Tunisians' hatred, especially if he comes to Tunisia for the Tournee.

In general, I do love listening to female singers with strong voices e.g. Asala. And not is only Shaza's voice strong, but always perfect and incredible. She's a perfectionist when it comes to singing, and would definitely deserve the title.

Sometime I feel even the teachers don't like her poor marwa she does not have that much luck with any one. first stupid ahmed than carlo and the teachers. Definately Tunsians are being used badly in the show. If the people won't vote at least in the final based on talent than why in the hell our candidats go out of their way to help the success of the show. Let those being voted in carry the show, do the primes and see who will watch it.

So I watched the Daily, and basically they showed Ahmed visiting the academy. He surprised marwa and the other girls. They didn't really show them interacting that much. It was very brief. When he came in, the guys told him to hide so he can surprise marwa. He kept on saying bring all the girls not just marwa. I want to see all the girls not just marwa. He was pretty persistant.
The the Daily showed the students begging Rola for chips, fries, and fried chicken. She told them that they would get the food only if marwas wasn't allowed to eat. They kicked her out of the control room when they sealed their deal with Rola. Then, they tried hidding the food from her when it came as she was practicing her song. When she went into their room, they told her to leave. Then, Carlo tried to explain to her in a not so friendly manner that she can't eat from the food. I really felt sorry for her. I have to give mohammed props for trying to be nice to her. This guy is a gentleman. Then, they sat down and ate their goodies, while she sat eating her diet food and watching.
I really really felt sorry for her.
I don't understand the mentality of the students and the teachers in this Academy. She's not fat. I don't understand why they keep on directly making her weight a huge issue. For God's sake, she's a curvacious woman who represents millions and millions of women across the world. Why do we have to be mentally anorexic? measuring beauty by such shallow standards? it's pretty disturbing. This show is watched by millions of teenagers who are very impressionable. Can you imagine the effect that it's leaving on these vulnerable teenagers? I wonder why there is an escalating rate of bulemia and anorexia among teenagers.
I was definitely turned off by the students' attitudes toward her especially Carlo. I don't like judging people, but he's making it very difficult for me not to do so. He definitely has an attitude problem, and he needs to work on it. His sarcasm and uncouth comments are just unbearable and unwanted.

How sickening. They are mean and rude - from Madame Rola down - she seems to be encouraging this unseemly behavior...What a thing to do - and she is an adult! I'd like to see THEM treated in this way and see how they'd feel. Marwa is not fat. She is beautiful. She just doesn't have a child's body like some of the other girls. I agree with Audrey - it sends the wrong message to teenagers - that you are not acceptable unless you look a certain way. Carlo needs to shut up and look at himself.

My grand parents said that everyone was eating french fries and chiken except for her. You know, when I first read that article I was not convinced but when I read again while thinking of what is happening these last days & the way they are treating her I become more than convinced that they will nominate her.
They are pushing her beyond the limits of tolerance so that next Tuesday they will say that she is not concentrating,she is lazy...
It's unfair the way they are treating Tunisian candidates. Maybe we, Tunisians should boycott their program & also their tournee so we will see how successful Mrs. Rola would be.

in fact the most successful concers are always in Tunisa and egypt, but tunisia comes first because the public is much more hilarious, they encourage all the students alike, they make a show ( remember last year)
moreover Rola gains a lot of money from the concerts there and spends them on her spoiled kids (stupid maya, fake tina,... they travel everywhere)
i bet it if tunisians boycott the tournee, it would be a great failure coz the tunisian public has its great weight

I live in the USA and everyone who have see the show is saying the samething you gus have said. they want to give the tittle of the star to stupid shada. I think the tunisien should not let Rola come and make money from them. if marwa is not the star this year, they should kick their behind out. THEY are the real singers...but the difference is that when Marwa sings, her entire face lights up and her voice has so much feeling. She is a natural entertainer - the best at the academy. You guys are all over the place....Marwa will not be nominated this week simply because she does very well in evals and primes....maybe Wadee3 doesn't like her as much as Shatha but all other teachers do (at least they are fair with her)...they nominated Shatha twice but never Marwa.
Don't forget that Star Academy Maghreb is going to be huge threat to LBC's...The Maghreb Arab is a 100 millions market and they are already playing on the mistreatment of the Maghrebins in LBC...they lost big in Algeria already.
Lebanese who run the show don't want to lose the Maghreb and specially Tunisians...we have so many common ground specially in music we both carry the show and others pay for it...al ra7abane and others know this fact very well, they want to make money but to make that money they need to give the people some thing special...Tunisians and Lebanese usually deliver such special performances.
If we keep seeing aouladna w bnatna being knocked out unfairly they will be no more tour in Tunisia in fact you will see Star Maghreb tour in Tunisia in the same time and you already know what the results will be.

She is a wonderful singer, a natural beauty, and is as sweet as can be. When she smiles, she lights up the whole room. I really loved her singing "La enta Habibi" on the Prime...it was filled with emotion.
