Tunisian musician Nabil Khemir has sealed a deal with an American record company to distribute & sell his latest album 'Oriental & Western Perfume 1' in America.
This came after his participation in the 11th Annual Millennium Music Conference in Harrisburg, PA.
Khemir is a Tunisian musician - composer, guitarist & singer - who has invented a new musical instrument, something that combines a guitar & a 'oud ... He calls it 'RAYJAM'. He says: "The RAYJAM helps me move from one type of music 'Oriental' to the other 'Western' without changing the instrument. I move from playing Jazz to playing Oriental pieces without breaking the mood, the listener doesn't feel the transition."
I live in America and i've never heard of him...The title leads the one to believe that he already made a big success and that he sells a lot of albums which is not the case, at least not yet....
