The students really did their best & performed the songs well.
There were many surprises tonight, Mohammad Qammah was Friend of the week again ... Tina was the Top 1 student again ... Shatha gets a loong phone call to her parents in order to make up her mind about plastic surgery on her nose & Mohammad Qammah gets a surprise visit from his mom!
Even Simba the kitten got the chance to appear on stage! He's so cute!
Well, tonight it was so close between Ayoub & Imad ... it's only luck i think that kept Imad from leaving tonight! ... So, we wish Ayoub all the best.

hi just wanted 2 say good luck 2 ayoob, and congratulations 2 salli and imad. good luck also 2 the top3 although tina didnt deserve it this week! i think ali sang very well 2day! he shouldve been on the top3 , hes working really hard. anyway todays prime was ok, shada and marwa sang very well and ahmed also did good with that song he sang on his own (he didnt seem like himself 2day).. every1 else sang ok.

You're right, Amal didn't get much stage time this week, but truth be told, Wadie was upset with her because her voice was tired and informed her that they've taken away all her songs but the solo in that tableau. I don't think they did it to spite her, but because she couldn't handle the other songs.
As for Tina's top 1 win this week (and this is just my guess), she probably only got it because Chris DeBurgh made that offer, which is huge. That a mega star like him offers to write and compose a song for her to share with him can only be considered a major triumph for her and I'm very proud that once again a young Arab talent is getting international recognition from such a huge star. We should all applaud her and be happy for her. I believe they couldn't have announced this wonderful offer unless Tina was getting top 1 and since her chances won't be as good to reach top 1 in the coming few weeks when the going gets really tough (when Asmahan and Om Kolthum songs will be assigned for the evaluation, etc.). Don't begrudge her this win. Be happy for her. Be proud of our fellow Arab.
Mohamed's voice was quite good today. You're right he got a lot of stage time compared to other primes, but when you think about it...why not. There were other primes when he played bench warmer while others dominated the show. They all get their turn I suppose and that you don't particularly care for him or think he's a total snore doesn't mean that he doesn't deserve to get his share of stage time every once in a while.
Marwa did quite well tonight. Her duet with Ali wasn't bad. For the first time, Ali allowed us to hear his voice, but unfortunately he sang out of tune quite a bit. I was a bit dismayed that he wasn't included in the Mecca group song. He's the Saudi Arabian there...hello!! As for Marwa, she did quite well in her solo and sang her part of the duet quite well. She could have toned down the dancing and twirling a bit though.
Shaza, as always, was wonderful especially in her solo of the group song.
Ol' blue eyes must have flipped around a couple of hundred times in his grave tonight. Ahmed really killed "Strangers in the night." I don't want to dwell on this one, but I really didn't enjoy any part of it.
The nominees did quite well in their songs. After today's session with Carmen, I felt really bad for Ayoub and his insecurities about his figure. I wish he would realize that they're all groundless since he does not look bad at all. Quite the contrary, I think he's got a really kind face that's very easy on the eyes. It's just so sad that he's buried his wonderful talent behind such silly insecurities the past couple of weeks and allowed them to pull him down at a time when he needed to really get his act together.
Good Luck to Ayoub. May he continue to dream big and to achieve even bigger.

thnx 4 voting 4 sally .....she deserved it and i guess her singing tonight proved 2 u that she's improving ,hope she 's not nominated nor 3imad this week coz i want 2 enjoy them for longer time as 4 the prime.i think it was joyful...however ,i don't know wut was wrong with a7mad,he sounded .well,i dunno.but i didn't like it at all as 4 ali i was surprised that he was singing this song.i guess i couldn't imagine him singing a love song in egyptian accent ,he tried 2 do something with his facial expressions yet i didn't feel it so i closed my eyes 2 hear him.....i think his main effort was with the accent .he was trying 2 make it not 7'alijy yet he missed it at some points .in general he was given a chance 2 show ppl something new .personally ,i couldn't fully comprehend it but i guess we should wait 4 ousama el ra7bany tomorrow!!!

I am so sad that Ayoub left. He really didn't deserve it. He was meant to go further than that. The amount of energy and fun in that boy is what makes me smile everytime I see him. He is such a lovable character, and a talented individual.
I can see why he was nominated. I think the experience of the previous prime had him a little shaken in his evaluation. But to be honest, so was Ahmed who happened to have messed up his evaluation and failed to recover. Ayoub managed to deal with it better than Ahmed. Yet, Ayoub gets nominated and Ahmed get the safe green light. That is not just lucky, it's extremely lucky, and a little unfair to.
In my opinion, Ayoub is a lot more talented than Ahmed. He has got the character and the talent.
If there is one thing I give Ahmed an award for, is style. But talent, no.
I thought it was haram to put Ayoub through that experience again. He really didn't deserve it.

Tina made it No. 1 again? How does she manage, I'm not too sure. I don't think that she is that great because if you listen to her closely, you can identify that she has a little problem with her breathing. However, I do like her and her strong character. She's the type that always makes the effort to be there for people who need a shoulder to cry on, and is very smart since she knows how to handle unexpected situations.
Talent-wise - she really does try hard, so she does deserve to be somewhere up there on the list. But sometimes, she tries a little too hard that you can spot her problem with her breathing.
