Today's prime theme was romantic. All girls were wearing red celebrating the Valentine's.
The first song was Ahmed El Sherif's one named "Adi Kalamak" and he sang with Carlo. The next tableau was performed by Emad, Amal, Sally who sang "Ma Badak Neba'a Hababey" and Marwa and Ammah who sang together "Khayalak Khayal".
The first appearance of the Indonesian singer was with Shaza and their performance was great.
Tina and Carlo sang together a romantic English song with a beautiful and romantic background and roses falling all over the place.
The Iraqi singer Reda El Abdallah first appeared and sang with the Iraqi student Shaza.
The friend of this week is Mohamed Ammah who won the option of ordering whatever kind of food he wants for a whole week.
Ahmed El Sherif sang his second song "Bein El Nas" with Emad. The next medley was performed by Amal who looked very beautiful tonight (the most beautiful girl actually) but had a bad luck with singing "Ehsas Gedid".
Reda El Abdallah sang next with Ali and it was nice.
A reportage about how the students spent the past two months and the surprises they got and students who left...
Another amazing song was performed by all the students who were wearing black and dark colors is "El Qods". The song was really great.
The last song was Ahmed El Sherif's hit "Sahran Ma'ak" and he sang it with Emad. The song was amazing and their performance as well which was leading the audience crazy and the theater was going to explode from applauding and cheering.
At the end, Ahmed from Kuwait won the audience's vote. Ayoub and Azouz were equal and Tina was the one to decide the winner. She was very confused and cried like Ayoub who was about to break down and she finally chose him and stayed for while at her place crying while all the students went to say goodbye until she was able to get up again. It was very sad but this is the game. By the way Tina is about to make her evaluation after the prime and then she will take a flight to go to London.

The prime was really good. Good students were in the top 4 compared to last week which was quite bad. Mohammed sang well, but it was VULGAR to see those dancers half naked dancing under falling water----> 7ARAM. I was really embaresed because I was watching Star Ac' with my parents. So LBC stop making such vulgarities. The other tableaus were very good. Amal sang I7ses gideed very very well. And the song ya Qudsi was also nice to hear, they really choose the best voices, Amal, Marwa and Shada to sing it. Angun was not that good she is not so popular actually.
I3med sang very well with A7mad al Sherif. The tableau of Tina and Carlo was much better then the previous one in wich Tina sang whit A7mad.
I did not see Sally very much exept in the beginnging and in the song for Palestine. Also Amal who normaly sings 3 or 4 songs was placed acide and Marwa too.

Kammah sang incredibly well and made great moves with the electric guitar,but if it wasn't for Toni Kahwagy'the director' who was completely focusing on the boobs and hips of the models and gave them all the credit instead of Kammah..It was so vulgar n provavctive.... Splashing water on the bodies..Sexy moves n actions between the shirtless male n sexy female models...Whose idea was that anyway..??
Main reportage of the prime was of the "The Prince" Kammah whom we find out that he loved Tina before they entered Star Academy and that she was the inspiration for most of his songs untill he was shocked that she is commited to her boyfriend Rabi3..So in the evaluation he confronts her with his love and apologizes to her,Rabi3 and the audience if he had caused her any harm and promises that she will remain a dear good friend to his heart...It was so bald and courageous of Mohamed to do that move...I wonder if he will still write and compose other amazing songs again snce Tina was his source of inspiration becuz she looks like his ex-beloved girl...?

I've read on forums that it is a Tunisian song from his next album...They sang nicely yet the credit goes to Emad in most parts of the song..

Top 4:Carlo(I don't like him that much but really he is a very responsible man..Whenever I open the 24/24 channel,I find him holding papers and memorizing songs and practicing on his vocals..)

Top 2:Kammah(Amazing abilities and tremendous effort every week..They finally decided to give him credit!)

Personally,I didn't like it..The design was awesome but Amal's delivery of the song was flat and poor...She trembled while singing it and didn't seem to be controlling her voice at all...And what she was she wearing? A night gown ? It was too short and open that she kept covering it all the time so she won't be exposed...!

Nice song from both..I liked when the models made a circle round them and they kept dancing..
And finally,What the hell was wrong with Tina? I like this girl very much but she made a fuss about the whole thing..First she cries then says "Abd..." then she cries again n again n then says "Ayoub.." and reamins still in her place for about 1 minute and then comes up to hug them..! She really overreacted...!
Overall,it was a beautiful prime full prime full of love n romance..We didn't see much of Sally and Marwa(who is going way down even though she's got gr8 poteintals)..Less Carlo n Tina(from Top 1 to nothing!) and definitely Kammah's prime..

The prime was great! Marwa's voice was absolutely beautiful in the tableau with Mohamed. She also looked beautiful - such a gorgeous face and smile! I think she finally concentrated on her singing instead of on Ahmad. Shaza was great too! Amal's voice wasn't very good, but she looked nice. I think it must have been very hard for Tina to choose between her friends. Ayoub deserved to stay more than Azouz. How in the world do they come up with these prizes? Some are ridiculous! A nose job? ha!

Let me start off by saying Amal butchered one of my favorite songs. It was AWFUL!! If I were to choose nominees based on the prime she would definitely be one. Marwa did great as usually and I really enjoyed the songs with Imed and Ahmed El-Sherif.

Ahmed El Sherif's sang "Sidi Saleh" isn't from his next album it was from his first album but Rotana delited it they said that "al azal " (when Ahmed say hobbek min el azal tayarny essama fouk)is a relegious word for this reason they delited the whole song from his album ????????????????. but personally I think they delited it because is it one of the best songs in his album ( for me it was the best i lissen to it daily).
The prime was very nice and i enjoyed watching it.

I would have hated being in Tina's position. Having to make that final call that decides who stays and who leaves. I love both Ayoub and Azooz, so I too would have cried because I don't want either of them to leave.
But, at the same time, I would be crying because I would be scared to make the wrong decision.
It's a tough position to be in.
The decision would be hard because you are about to end a great experience of one close friend.
Really tough.
I totally felt for her. My eyes watered seeing her in that state.
The performance of Al-Quds, ya Salam, was so beautiful. People in Palestine think that the Arab World has forgotten them, but that is not the case at all. And what a way to show it- singing that song on one of the most watched TV show in the Arab World right now, Star Academy. So, everyone in the Arab World, the old and the young, will remember their brothers and sister in Palestine, and especially in this hard time.
I was so happy and was moved by that performance. That in my eyes, was the best song in the prime. Because it had the strongest meaning and purpose. I cried just trying to imagine what it's like to be there. In a land where nothing is fair, and a land where no day goes by without the sight of blood and outrage.

As i said before i would call it mouhammed's prime , Shadi => mouhammed was gr8 and his voice was amazing it seems u enjoyed the dancers boobs and hips more . Cuz they were naughty and hot . But about the song he sang it totally perfect and he was amazing with his moves with the guitar . but the director screwed everything but showing the dancers under water opening there mouths and those male dancers touching them that wasnt nice at all it screwed the mood and it has nothin to do with the song at ALLLLL.Amal she didnt do well in the song actually but she was extreemly cute .Marwa her voice is perfect and the best after shaza but i dont like her character i felt that she and mouhammed are real lovers in the song it was amazing .

Aright here is the deal...
First off is no one angry that Ahmad got the otes while Ayoub got the least? I'm a guy so I can't really judge but even if Ahmad is a pretty boy does no one have the sense to vote for the real artist with the better personality and voice?! There is no question about it. I don't think anyone here is really gonna say that Ahmad sings as well as Ayoub. Ayoub also is a better actor then Ahmad. Not to mention Ayoub has a more fun personality. Lastly. For anyone who likes Marwa or Amal(I like both) you don't want Ahmad to stay because he is a distraction to them(especially to Marwa). Ahmad is a nice guy and I like him but he doesn't deserve to stay.
Now for the prime,
Carlo did pretty good today. He sang with Ahmed Sherrif and with Tina. But honestly Carlos best language is french for singing. When he sings in french his voice has a cerain great ring which he does not have in arabic or even english. He is kind of snobby in terms of personality and definitley not interesting.
Tina sang well today. Lets face it. She is meant to sing english though. She is so amazing in english but in arabic she is next to nothing. I like Tina though and I don't think she is fake. She is nice. But as the ARAB star I don't think she is nearly the best.
Sally well has improved. Now she sings right. But her voice is weak. They've brought her to her limit and now she should go. She is also kind of annoying.
Ahmad, he can sing okay in english but in arabic forget about it. He sings crap 90% of the time in arabic. The way he sang Al Shaki was horrible.
Ali is good. Everyone is way to hard on him. He is a nice guy with a great voice but he just needs to work harder and get more parts.He sang great in todays prime. But even so he shouldn't stay much longer. But he deserves to be in the tour more then Ahmad.

Imed, He sang great in all his parts today. Its amazing to think how much he has improved. He sang especially well with Ahmad Sheriff. Nice voice and he'll go far I think. But he needs to be a little less bossy. He is a nice guy though and is good about solving problems.
Ayoub, He did the best in the nominee song but he was nevous. He has an amazing voice in every language he sings. He is fanan complete. He acts, sings, plays guitar, and is a nice guy. I think Ayoub should go far and he's the best singer of the khaleejis. Sorry but shame on Ahmad voters lol.
Shaza, lets just say Shaza sings perfectly in everything she gets. Every song in the prime she did perfectly and her voice is amazing. Especially in the song for Jersalem she was possibly the best. Last rime she sang perfectly for Iraq and the prime before she sang perfect as well with Faudel. She should definitely be a finalist. I don't think she should change her nose. She is beautiful the way she is and not to mention sometimes those surgeries cause problems. She is also a mother in the academy and just needs to stop getting mad lol. Shes very nice.
Marwa and Amel. They both hav beautiful voices. I chose to talk about them together for a reason. Its funy how people here either like Marwa or Amel. I like both. But starting with Marwa she sang great in the song for Jerusalem, But Amel was better tonight and so was Shaza. Marwa did best in the Yara duet. Amel also did well in her solo. But Ahmad is distracting them both. The things they said in todays episode about Ayoub not deserving the votes and Ahmad deserving them is stupid. They are blinded by love to Ahmads inferiority to Ayoub. Marwa spends all her time worrying about Ahmad talking to Amel. She could be doing a lot better(not that she isn't doing well) she can do better is all. Same goes for Amal. People need to stop taking sides. Mohammad, his song was awesome but the dancers were a bit annoying. Aside form it being in appropriate it is irrelivant. Most people don't watch for the dancers they watch for their favorite candidate. He did great in tonights prime. He has my favorite personality possibly. He is extremely talented. I don't have to say much because like everyone likes Mohammad. If you don't like Mohammad you are either like racsist or in the 1% minority. So he is amazing plain and simple.

I totally agree with you! If I was to choose a nominee based on the prime yesterday Amal would be the first one I'd choose. I never liked her voice and she is very annoying, she always shows her skin and she is too in love with Ahmed she needs to calm down. Sorry to all who love Amel, but I can't see her winning this. She could easily win the hearts of people, but not win the title of Star Academy. In fact, I can't see her going far. She tends to mess up at the times when things really do matter. I mean how many times does she forget her words in the evaluation? And the song that she wrote and sung on the previous time, was flat. I swear the preparation and the rehersals were much more better than that.
Unlike Shaza who nails every performance and delievers it amazingly well.
There is a clear difference between the two when it comes to singing.

Tina is not fake. I love this girl and her personality. She seems like a very strong character that likes to be there for those who need a shoulder to cry on. My theory is, that her strong and beautiful personality is all because of her mother, who happens to a single parent. Obviously, to raise a child by yourself, you need to be strong. I was really annoyed that Ahmed got the most votes, and even more annoyed that Ayoub recieved the least. I knew that Ahmed was going to stay, he had to for the entertainment value instead of the talent. But, Ayoub, he is both of those values. Therefore, he is much better than Ahmed. In fact, he's the best of the khaleejis.
But this whole love triangle drama going on, is driving me crazy. Honestly, I think Marwa should let go of him. She needs to focus more on herself and her future. I don't blame her if she's going down, she's getting a tough time because things aren't going smoothly for her and Ahmed. Nothing does when there is a third person in the equation. i liked the song about jerusalem it was so perfect and soo touching,i also liked 2amma7's tableau and i dont have anything against the dancers but i think when some1 is singing solo all the concentration must be on him,the dancers are just like accessories to the tableau.

hey people, 1stly i wanna say rachel every week i read ur comments and seriously they r the best. u always get them spot on. AmAL AND mARWA r 2 very talented girls. they both have good voices and nice faces (even though marwa needs 2 lose abit of weight). i just wish they would stop worrying bout ahmed and concentrate on themselves because they both got the potential to go very far if they focus. Anyway bout the rest Shada undoubtably, has the best voice and really if its based on talent she should win this year. what's happening with people hate amal in here so much. she is good in her on way every one in there is good in there on way. i personal dont like tina's voice and the fact that she sing more english thn arabic, i thought tht ths is an arab competition. but the grls hs nice personality. marwa and shaza have the best voices in grls and imad and mohamed have the best voice in the boyz side. however amal and imad are my favourite.
I can't wait to see this prime!! I'm in the US and I have to rely on the internet. I'm sick of tina and carlo, they're not even REAL arabs, they don't represent arabs at all. Plus, they have pathetic relationships. Shaza, Mohammed K, Marwa, Amal, and Imad are the real talents in this season. I love sally, but she doesn't sing enough, plus shes exciting and fun and w/ out her the academy would be boring and full of the stupid drama of amal and marwa and ahmed.

To Bella, I like khaleejis too. Infact I was cheering for a khaleeji student to win in both season 1 and 2. I have been supporting khaleejis on Waleg since season 2 lol(and I'm Palestinian)But it's important to cheer the right ones, like Ayoub or even Ali(who actually dd well with Redal Abdullah though no one will admit it), Not Ahmad.
To Bandari, grow up. Just because you are khaleeji doesn't mean only khaleeji students are good. Their are good and bad students from everywhere. With that attitude this will become a board for rascism and biasm. Judge on talent and character, not so much on country.
To Adam, Don't worry I love the song Al Shaki too but they didn't sing it very well. Ahmad sand terribley, Abdel Aziz was nothing special, and even Ayoun messed up.
To maghrebi, Actually the voices this year are probably better on average then last year. I think Amal and Marwa have better voices then Hanaa and Chaima but don't use their voices as well. Shaza is just better then Hanaa and Chaima both ways. Really good voices this year I think, but it's a question of opinion.
To Shadi, I know that Mohammad probably still hasn't completely forgotten about Tina but he is trying and he is also more focused on this work. I agree with Shaza, Prince is just amazing. His personality is the best so far this year. He is working hard and being nice to everyone.
To el pharoah, the teachers are not rascist. They love Mohammad so how could they be rascist against Sally lol? Sally is working hard but her voice is not as good as the other girls. I know shes working but they have to pick a star and Sally's voice is not good enough.
To everyone, I think you are all being to hard on Amal. So she messed up the begining of "Ehsas ejdeed" and wasn't in tune, so what.
Amal actually did better then Marwa and as good as Shaza in "Zaharat il Madaen"(sorry about spelling). Marwa's better song was the Yara duet.

i think saly has improved alot,last week eval was gr8 even waleg's comment was the same as mine ,i really hope she does well in next eval and not become nominee coz without her i will stop watching that program coz it will b full of amal's and marwa's crying together with a7mad's stupid attitude where he pretends he'snot listening then go treat either girls in a way that keeps ppl wondering which one he loves....he's cute and all but not 2 that extent...i really think the program will b an endless soap opera without saly ,btw not coz she doesn't have the best voice means she's the next 2 go ,it depends on the performance in prime and eval and amal ruined [2e7sas gedeed ] she sang well in zahret el mada2en though,i have 2 admit.remember mo7amed 3ateya he managed 2 dodge the nomination in the presence of gr8 voices like 7'alawy,bashar &a7med el sherif .3ateya proved that if u work hard even if u got less voice than others u will move forward.i really hope she's not a nominee ,i m not gonna like some ppl who wish that the students they hate become nominee,i just wish that sally isnot nominee
Amals had a problem with the mic at the begging and that really started her nerves...you need a good start to sing well throguhout the whole song...also she was wearing clothes that she did not feel comfortable in and that was so darn obvious!! ok so people on this forum grow up and try and not judge because how would you feel performing a song in clothes which you don't feel comfortable in and not only that...it was pretty obvious that there were technical problems during her tableau...it keep cutting off every now and then making her singing sound bad! So people get over it and dont judge a person on one performance! ok Marwa and others have sang really bad in pevious primes so stop being so hard on Amal!
also Marwa and Amal are girls with lots of potential and if they focus a bit more they will go far...also i heard Amal wrote a new song cant wait to here it! They are also like best friends in the academy (even though Marwa doesnt really show it most of the time) and so just get over it and move on!

i agree with Rachel too, i watched the the dailies and Marwa got angry at Ahmad as u just mentioned for speaking with Sally and told him "go complete your talk with sally and dont talk with me again"and he told her whats wrong with you marwa are you crazy,than sally told him pls Ahmed let me finish my talk with you and go to see whats wrong with her, and even she did the same when he talked with tina a week ago, so its not a matter of Amal,she dosent want him to talk with any1, and she must know that they are living at the same place and must talk to each others.

Wow. I was suprised by Marwa's behaviour, yet again.
You can make out by now that she feels uncomfortable and insecure about her and Ahmed. But, honestly why? I can't really figure it out. I can understand if it was Amel, but this is Sally.
I think it would just be better if she drops the whole idea of her and Ahmed being together because it's really not going to happen because of the level of insecurity she feels inside. And she doesn't just hold it against Amel, but to everyone else.
Sometimes I want to just smack her to wake her up. She needs to get out of that silly state of mind. She is so talented but this whole drama is pulling her down.

I was so sad to see Azooz leave. I really loved him.
I agree that he and Ali are simply not given a lot of stage time when it comes to the live shows. When they get put down on the list of nomination I really feel sad for them because they are not short of talent. They are just short of opportunity. And to be honest the distribution on the live shows are, in general, not equally spread. It's not just the khaleejis that may not get a reasonable amount of stage time that they need there will be others from elsewhere eg. there have been primes where Sally, and one in where Marwa didn't do very much. So, it's not just the khaleejis.
I wouldn't really say that that is the reason why Azooz left. Because, people like Imad who at the start was given small parts in performances, made the few seconds last and be something special. He made the most of it and shone. Azooz didn't really do what Imad would do.
Honestly, I believed that he could do a lot better. But, it didn't really happen.
Lets not forget Ahmed. He is a khaleeji, but he gets given reasonable amounts of performances to do on the live show.
So, I don't think it's a matter of being khaleeji or not. I think it's more about how flexible the individual is to carry off covering a wide range of themes and different performances.
