i mean look who once again dominated...tina tina tina tina shada shada shada shada shada...far out! all night these two girls were on stage...while girls like AMAL only sang a few words and then was finally allowed to sing her song right at the end...just to commnet that AMALS song, that she created, is absoloutely BEAUTIFUL!!!! omg i want it on CD!!!!she sang it very well and she was bursting with emotion and love...dont you agree with me? seriously AMAL should get more stage time...they don't lets her shine...also she looked marvelous today in her blue dress ...ashame we didnt see her much...ALSO AYOUB????/ WHAT happened to him...i mean hello hes a contestant to, doesnt he atleast deserve to sing a few words????? omg i don't know about anyone else but i am absolutely sick from Tina and Shaza!!!!! I want AMAL, MARWA and AYOUB to atleast have a fair share,,,,this is unbelievable I SWEAR...also this prime was bad...no good tableaus and the same people sang over and over again!

also the top 4????? where is Mohammad Ahmah and Amal Alanbari???? these two people are creating their own songs and are working hard but it obviously doesnt count, does it??

Frankly Amel is the prettiest of all and her song was beautiful and her voice is great and she has a beautiful soul ...WELL DONE AMAL...keep it up

It's quite evident that the students are getting over their stage fright and feel more comfortable performing. Shaza didn't hog the stage as much as Tina did and you can't deny that Shaza did a magnificent job singing "Baghdad." The girl put her heart, soul and incredible voice into it and really delivered a great performance. Tina was once again all over the place, but you've got to give her one thing (even though I think that her top 1 spot for last week's work was unfair, because Shaza deserved it), she did a great job singing "Sailor" with Chris DeBurgh - hey the girl wasn't one bit intimidated by such a huge star - totally in her element. I liked Sally's "Saeedi" tableau. She did well in spite of the little microphone trouble. I also liked the fact that she got more stage time tonight. Ayoub's performance, although very short on Lebanese Night was solid. Marwa, who had a bit more stage time, was quite invisible tonight and I'm not at all surprised. She's slipping and needs to really turn things around. Her ongoing voice issues (trial and error - mostly error these days) and weight problem are doing her no favors and she's too preoccupied with Ahmad to notice that she's slipping. Imed tried to shake her up the other night when he had a heart to heart with her and advised her to get her act back together. He told her that she's been rolling downhill ever since she made top 1 and told her to look around her and see how everyone had their own thing going for them....Mohamed's writing and composing, Ayoub's multi-lingual singing, Sally's dancing, Tina's creativity, etc. and that she has nothing (other than a voice that doesn't seem to be working very well anymore) going for her. Oh well, we'll just have to wait and see how she does next week. Carlo did well tonight. His Elvis song was wonderful. I didn't like Ahmad's at all. He needs to work on his pronunciation if he insists on singing in English. Carlo pronounces well, as does Tina. Mohamed's song with Miriam Fares was good. He should have been a bit more attentive to her by singing to her and not away from her, which is unfortunately what happened. His voice was great though. I did not like Amal's song one bit. I watched her rehearsing it and liked it enough to look forward to watching her on stage tonight, but her delivery was so flat, she literally killed it right there in front of our eyes. And how in God's name can someone compose a tune and then sing off key?? Amal is losing her grip and I'm afraid she's also headed down the wrong path. She really needs to stop taking her stay at the academy for granted because at this stage the rug can easily get pulled out from under her feet. Imed, as always, made his presence known. The guy stands on very solid ground, which is quite admirable.

All in all an entertaining prime. It was good to see Ali's voting result and very sad to see Dani leave. Best of luck to him in all his future endeavors.

Ps. I really don't mean to be big old meanie, but Samie-jr, may I ask you if you're 12 or have been living under a rock the past few decades? Chris DeBurgh is not, and I repeat is not an unheard of international singer. He is a world renowned international singer, with incredible hits like Lady in Red, Sailor, Spanish Train, etc. These blogs are read by people all over the world. Please don't make such statements and make us all look bad. Having someone of Chris DeBurgh's caliber at StarAc Middle East is quite an event.

Well, what happened to u guys, Tina Deserved it .. how many times was she in the top 4 it's her time to be there .
i want the star to be whether amel mouhamed or emad.
But amel messed up in the evaluation and it is quite logic why she isnt in the top 4 but last week ahmed was nominated by mr.michelle and he was the top1 so sara if miss merry nominated marwa that doesnt mean she shouldnt be in the top4 .. MY QUESTION IS : WHERE IS MOUHAMMED AMMA7 in THE TOP4?> he desrved to be atleast top 3 .. This is unbelivable .. Shaza .. Does they hate her or something ,, i know she had been lately in the same style nd they didnt like her evaluation but she should be in the top 2 once in her life .. and about the frnd of the week ,, Ayoub is an amazing person and it hurted me alot when he was talking with amma7 today on the dialy's that he used to love a gurl when he was 160 kgzz or something and he lost all that weight for her.. I didn't think this prime was better than the last one for some reason. I dont even know if it was good or bad...just no emotions really about it lol.

Meryam Fares was stunning. She did really well with the students and they seemed like they were enjoying singing with her. I was a little surprised Mohammad got to sing "haglig ra7tak" because it's such a girly song and i dont even think it suited his voice. He sang it well anyway, but like Emme said, he should have paid more attention to her as he was singing, especially that she seemed to give much of her attention towards him.

The first song " labanese night" (i think that was the name) was awesome. I thought all sang it very well. Tina seemed to struggle a bit in holding out her notes but her pronounciation was right on. Carlo and ayoub also were great. I love how they meshed they voices together at one point. It sounded really nice.

Shaza's singing in Baghdad..i dont think there are words to describe it. Im not a huge fan of Shaza but i can't deny her talent and amazing voice. She probably has the best control over her voice out of everyone and you feel "tarab" when you are listening to her sing. The others did a very well done job singing as a choir behind her. Usually their voices sound scattered and out of tune when they sing together but this time it was actually really good.

Sally's tableau...she did very well dancing and it was nice to see her in her own performance by herself. I'm sure it gave her a confidence boost. Her voice seemed a little shaky at times but she knew how to recover fast. I liked the part when the guys raised up and she fell backwords and forwards...that was a little scary too. I was afraid she was gonna fall but it was orhcestrated well.
The reportage about her was very cute too. She really does seem to put a lot of life into the academy

I loved the Greece tableau as well. The dancing was great. Imad and Carlo seemed a little confused at times, but the girls were always there to put them back in check

The Elvs presley perfomrance. I actually really liked Ahmed here. He did well. He sang very nicely but again he over did it with the facial expressions. Carlo was perfect but im not sure why Tina was there doing background vocals. She like came out of no where and started echoing him and Sally was just standing on the side dancing. It was a little weird. It would've at least looked better if both her and Sally did the echoes together.

I thought Ayoub deserved Friend of the week. I just love him. He is such a sweetheart and a very peaceful person. He loves everyone and respects everyone....just an amazing character and i love his voice too

About the results of the nominations

My heat ached for Dany as he left. He was areally decent guy and all-round nice guy. His voice is actually one o the best at the academy and his presence on stage confirms that. He is not fazed byt he audience and his perfomrances are usually very well presented.I dont know what happens to him in the evaluation room. And to know that he actually asked the others not to vote for him.....that's proof that the teachers really did ruin his confidence by the constant pressure they applied on him. I mean, others deserved to be in his shoes numerous times but they were never nominated...yet it seemed like everything he did was never good enough for the teacher.
All in all i wish him good luck and a great future because he deserves it.

P.S: i also heard that after the prime (if you're watching nagham.) that Azouz is aprently mad at Sally for voting for Dany in the prime. If that's true, i got one thing to say to him: Grow Up !!

Honestly, I don't think Amal is talented at all, her voice is very limited and she can't sing as well as the other contestants. Tina, Marwa, Shaza, Sally are the best! For the guys I love Mohammed Kammah (the best), Abdel Aziz, Carlo, Emad, Ayoub, and Dany. I think the contestants this year are great! I hope Tina, Mohammed Kammah, or Marwa win the title this year they are the best!! I love Star Academy 4!!

i honestly think AMAL is very talented very beautiful very unique...her voice is great but they dont give her a chance to shine by singing independantly for once...all she does is sing a few phrases a prime...

This prime was not that good compared to last week's prime.Like Rachel said we only saw Tina and Shad, although both girls sing very well. Tina has to focalise on breathing, because sometimes its annoying to hear her breath while she sings. Shada performed very well Baghdad. This week Amal and Marwa were quite abscent on the stage:(. i think I saw Amal singing two times and for Marwa I do not remember.Il liked the Elvis Presley tableau, but Ahmad ruined it, he's English is far from good compared to Carlo who speaks very well. Alos Imad I did not see he him too, I only saw him in a captain suite.
It is a pitty for Dany, I really wanted HIM to stay and A3li or A3zouz to live.

Last night prime was not that wow! in fact for me the best prime was when they invited Massari..
but really shaza rocked last prime , me too i m not a big fan of her , but to say the truth she is the best voice. SHE RULES , no question about it. i was so surprised she was not top1 and amma7 was not top 2 or 3
but i don't like the fact that she , tina, and carlo sing almost all the prime's songs..

I couldnt stand the prime last night coz it is like always,who gets to sing all songs (Tina) and Carlo.Iam sorry 2 say this,but it is unfair 2 the others students. I think that Mohammad is wonderful,but Wadi3 never gives any attention 2 Mohammad (walohi);watch when Wadi3 is teaching them the songs;He doesnt even look at Mohammad Kammah;so he sings only 1 song like always and i can swear if Michell wasnt in the academy ;Mohammad wouldnt sing any song coz I fell that Michell supports Kammak so Thanks alot Michell. I feel that it is unfair that Kammak wasnt in the top 4 coz his voice is soooo wonderful, cute,warm and tender.he is different from others coz he has the X factor and from his eyes you can tell that he is the future star, but Madam Rola wants Tina to be the star whoever she cant sing in arabic and her breathe is really annoying coz you can hear it clearly while she is singing.ok she can dance and sing in english,but isnt this competetion 2 pick up a future arabic singer? if they want a dancer ,let Tina take the tittle this year ,but if they want a true arabic singer star ,they should let Kammah,Imad, Shatha or Amal win the tittle.By the way I liked alot Amal's song;it is really nice and i like Ammal 2.Go Kammah i will support u till the end coz you are the star inshallah.

Ali didn't get a fair treatment because some of the teachers are discrminating him and they don't give him enough songs to sing or even encourage him to write or compose something. His voice is great and you can feel the warmth of it.
I liked the Elvis Presley part, Ahmed rocks big time and his English is 10 times better than Carlo's, just listen to the way he talks to his girlfriend he sucks.
Chris De Burgh is my favorite British singer and he was charming last night with Hani when he sang with him. Hani also, paid a visit to the Academy, he was all smiles with the students and gave them his autographed pictures with words of encouragement then he chatted with them and he cuddled their kitten Simba.
Ayoub deserves to be Friend of the Week because he's funny and polite with all his friends and I kind of liked his favorite team Barcelona even though I'm not a soccer fan. :)
Ahmed's mom is a pretty and classy lady and so are his sisters Sarah and Zainab when they visited the Academy.

i thought sally did much better than tina coz she managed 2 control her breathing while singing and the usual [ba7a] is gone !!!
however ,how come the lbc didn't have the decency 2 bulid an egyptian cafe like they did with london bridge when tina was singing they just put tables!!!!!!
any way ,4 hose who said bad things about sally........she's the one actually trying 2 help amal with her problem with a7med ,c the dailies she bringes life 2 the academy and just coz she says everything directly 2 ppl faces doesn't make her ugly faced monkey they all love her there.as 4 yesterday she had 2 vote 4 dany coz they agreed 2 make it a tie then the one who gets the audience votes [who would b a 7'alijy of course]would break the tie by choosing the other 7'alij guy ,of course so that dany will go out [7afethan ma2 wagho]but she was surprised coz they weren't doing what they agreed on ,she had 2 make a quick decicion so she voted 4 dany who ,if it weren't 4 her vote would have went out with only 2 votes!!!!! imagine if 3azoz was in his place would he take it?but u have 2 know 3azoz wasn't mad at sally ,he was sad coz he didn't get the audience votes,he is starting 2 beleive that ppl don't love him,he's starting 2 lose his confidence .i personally think that sally did well in prime ,Mme Mary said that 2 she loved her singing she has a good chance not 2 become a nominee this week if she did well in the eval!i think next week it could b 4 nominees 3 7'alij guys and carlo,coz the boys r much more than the girls +only 8 primes r left and we have 12 students!7'alij guys r so many they will try 2 eliminate them and they know that only another 7'alij guy can do that!!i am thinking 3azoz +3ali+carlo+ayoub,but ayoub will come back then the week after i m thinking sally or tina with someone coz although it's clear how they r pushing tina into our faces she won't b the star ma3'reb 3arabi will get it this year.btw i m egyptian and i love them but the story of the love triangle has become tooooo

OMG i love dany and i can't believe that he went, i wanted abdel aziz to go becuz i knew that ali will be saved by the audience. but then when i saw the reportage and dany said that no one to vote for him, my heart was borken. then i saw his cute face, pretty hair, and beautiful voice, it just struck me that this was the last time to see him. when i saw the vote results and stuff and everything ended. i was so pissed off! it's like what they did to rym last season. i will always miss hiim. i hope that dany will fulfill his dream.

also did you notice that they have been spoiling ahmed just a little bit, with prizes and stuff. i think it's too much. I love Tina but i don't think that she is a coordinated dancer, you can tell by the roman tablaeu. but she does have a good voice. i like carlo but my sister thinks that he shows off a little bit, but he can sing in english and arabic and french maybe. marwa has a cute smile and she has a pretty voice. so does amal, i think that her voice is one of the best. i will not be surprised if she wins, i like it when each season, a different person from a different country wins, it tells us that people from anywhere has a good voice. imed is very hot, also dany too.i loved the tablaeu that sally did, it's was amazing and she was beautiful.i know this is long but hang on there. mohammed has a really good voice and he is cute, i felt really sorry for him and tina. they do look like a good couple. i think the top 4 was a rip off, no tina and imed deserves it but the others not really.

Hi everyone. I want to start off by saying this Prime was okay, not the best one, but it was not bad. First of all, I can't belive how people are saying that Amal is the best one in the academy?? Are you guys watching the same Star Academy as me because I think she's HORRIBLE! She was singing own song but she was off key...it was so bad, and everytime shes on stage and has no expression. Everytime they do a close up on her face she doesn't do anything, she is a terrible entertainer if you ask me. I think Carlo did AMAZING for his song Blue Suede Shoes. His pronounciation was perfect, and dancing and attitude was awesome. As for Ahmad...I really don't understand why he is staying in the Top 4. He is sooooo bad. His Elvis song was absolutely terrible. He wasn't even singing the right words. Everytime he sings in english you can never understand him. Ayoub was amazing today too. When he was singing Lebanese Night I couldn't believe how good he was! I was very impressed!! I also think Tina really deserved the Top 1 position. She not only sings well, but she play many instruments and is talented at them. I think Shadda has a better voice than Tina, but that's all Shadda has, she has nothing else. I'm really starting to like Sally. I didn't at first, but I do now, and I think she is a great dancer, and friend. Imad was a cutie today, and did really well. Ali DID NOT deserve to stay he is absolutely horrible, and Rola better find a way to get him out. Haram Dany, he definitely deserved to stay more than ali and abdul aziz. During their songs on the prime, dany was soooooooo good, and he's an excellent performer. That's it...I know everyone will not agree with what I say, but sorry, it's just my opinion.

The prime was great. I think this year students are the best as a total, there is a large competetion, that its really hard to expect the winner. I think it should be 3mad, Shaza, M 2ama7 or Tina.
I don't like Ahmed (sorry) but I can't feel him.
Please does anybody knows a site where to download the songs of the primes other than 6arab as they stopped putting them

oh my god, shaza was absolutely fabulous and mouth dropping. iv never heard anyone sing with so much emotion, when she sang 'baghdad' i was truely mesmerized. amazing. its so unfair how shes being ignored in the top 4, she HAS 2 be top 1 next week. amal was so cute this prime and marwa too. i loooove 2amma7! danyyyyyy we miss you :( and yes i agree, tina is over-rated way too much, sure she can dance (although not very nicely) and her voice is ok, but theyr giving her too much credit which she really doesn't deserve.

Oh Shut up Bahrainn you are so annoying. Gay is not a bad thing and Dany is young noy gay I know him and his family so shut the hell up Ok!!

You have to give these Lebanese candidates some credit you know with all of what is happening in Lebanon while the world sits and watches they still have the drive to focus on themselves and their future.These students are competing against Huge arab countries with Millions of voters with money and Lebanon will compete??
If people took it more as judging talent rather than nationality many people who are still at the academy will be gone...... by now.

Okay prime overall. Danny is better then Carlo and Azouz. He should have stayed. Actually he's better then Ali too. He's way better then Ahmad. But on the other hand he should have tried harder on his tests because he had one of the best voices from the boys. I don't like Carlo but he's working.

Actually Amanda Amal is pretty good. She has a problem with changing the song but her voice is solid. I wouldn't call her the best yet maybe with more work though. Ali is good. I don't care what people say about hating khaleejis and their money because people who hate khaleejis are just envious and unfair themselves. Ali just needs to keep working. As of now I wouldn't put him in the top 8 but he is better to be in the tour then Ahmad. Azuz should go like now. He has no presence in the academy and everything he does on stage is fake. His voice is mediocre. Sally should be out she is absoloutely not a singer and I find her anoying. Lets face it Tina is great...in foreign songs. She can stick around for a while but eventually shes out. Carlo is also more so a foreign singer. Imad is improving steadily and if you listen to how he was when he started and how he's improved its amazing(go watch on youtube they have parts of primes). He has a possibility to be the star. Ayoub is just great. He's funny, nice and a real talent. Marwa and Amal are both improving their voices and I see competition between the two. Both have beautiful voices that they need learn to control. They should both forget Ahmad and work on being star. Marwa is most likely to be the star because Tunisia may win this year(I mean they get so far every year). Shaza is unbelieveable. Such control over her voice and it is beautiful.Mohammad is the prince!!! Best all around egyptian boy candidate ever. He is a REAl artist.

That is my current unbiased/none rascist opion and it's a pretty good one.

Tina rocked the prime and blew the competition away...
