The nominees of the 7th week of Star Academy 4 are:
- Ali Al Saad from Saudi Arabia
- Abdulaziz Al Aswad from Kuwait
- Dany Shamoun from Lebanon
Who will you vote for this week?
The nominees of the 7th week of Star Academy 4 are:
- Ali Al Saad from Saudi Arabia
- Abdulaziz Al Aswad from Kuwait
- Dany Shamoun from Lebanon
Who will you vote for this week?
the nominations are fair this time, but i prefer Dany and Abdelaziz coz ali isn't improving and i realized that all of his evaluations are the same, he isn't doing something new and catching, Dany should stay coz he did well in the evaluation althought he needs some improvement to reach his friend's level. Abdelaziz is "weak" but he's better than ali.
if abdelaziz was saved by the audience:
1)Ahmad
2)Ayoub
3)Amal
4)Marwa
5)and maybe shaza will vote for Ali while the rest vote for dany.
if ali gets the highest number of votes then:
1)Ahmad
2)Amal
3)Marwa
4)Ayoub
will vote for abdelaziz while others will vote for dany.
Anyways good luck for all of them and may the best win!
Shadi, Lebanon
finally a guy is gona leave, girls have been leaving left and right through out the season. theres like 5 girls left, and ALOT of boys. so im pretty happy; and plus its about time a khaligee leaves their so ugly. yuK! imad of marwa are gona win this year. TUNISIANS FOR LIFE BABY`.
peaceeeeeeeeee =)
dany is much better than ahmad why they put him nominee ????? nad if they wwant to make one lebaneese boy out they must chose carlo not dany , dany is sooo cute and sooo kinddd Ihate carlo walla hassiss nafssou joseph attiya walla mayoussalou
dany is the best so i can´t andestand that he is nominee. we all here in sweden are voiting for you, and we love you so much /sweden

dany marah yikhroj
i hope ali leaves i cant stand his big eyeballs.. its creepy, and dany looks like Jleno with his big chin.. at least abdul3aziz is funny..id rather see ali leave.. anyway dosent matter which guy leaves as long as ahmed, imed, carlo stay..
I'm so happy that amal isn't a nominee,I wish a7med was a nominee because i can't stand him he is so a show off i hope Dany stays.I also think ayoub should leave.
i'm so happy that mohamed 2amma7, amal, sally, imad are not nominated but i'm so sad bcz dany is nominated....
apart from that he's lebanese (like me), he has a great voice, a great charisma and a great look
Finally a Khaliji guy is gonna leave, it was so unfair how girls were leaving one after another and those guys have like an alliance, they will for ever vote for each other. I really don't hate them, in opposite I think that Ahmad is a gentleman and Ayoub is talented but come on guys who deserved more to leave, Intissar or Abdelaziz? Iman or Ali?
I think Ali will be saved by the votes and then Abdelaziz will get the voices of: Ahmad, and Ayoub, I really don't know about the others, I think they all like Dany much better...
By the way, Imad's evaluation was great and very smart..
Oh one more thing, does anybody agree with me that the way they announce the nominees is so stupid and boring???
vote Danyyyyyy! 7aram i swear there are people in there much worse than him, eg. saly and ayoub.
we love u dany and we'll vote 4 u. ur definitly staying!
Ali OUTTTTT!
hii allll
3 guys are nominees for first time but i think
dany shouldn't be nominee i think it must be ahmed (i don't hate him) but i think he is less than other guys but dany has bad luck
i think ali will saved by ppl and dany by his friend but iwant azoz and dany stay any way good luck for all
thanx alot
Why not Carlo instead of Danni?
I don't get it...
Did Danni forget again or something?
Anyways Danni probably won't go out I think Abdel Aziz or Ali will. Hopefully Abdel Aziz.
Ahmed should be nominee too he isn't that good. Sally also should have been nominee.
Am I the only one that thinks Danni is really good???
yay thank the lord amal is not a nominee
How can Dany be nominee when SALLY; AHMED AND AYOUB are still in the academy...
I Don't think carol is bad but if i have to chose one lebanani to leave i will chose carlo and not dany coz he is better...
mabey the theachers thnik that dany is to young i don't now but the boy have a talent and if he is gettning out this week he will be a star when he gets a out!!!
I'm sorry to say that dany is getting out coz ALi will be saved by tel. and aziz will be saved by his fiends...ahmen, ayoub, imad, amal, marwa, shada sooo bad!!!
hi guys
oh dany is nominee for the 3rd time it's really unfair cuz he have a wonderful voice so he should stay &ali should go out go go dany
ali go go out
I am so sad that dany is nominee and i would really prefer that abdel aziz leaves i m happy tho that amal is not nominee i ll support her all the way enshallah she will win the title i want a girl to win this year and there is no one better than her as i said before she just got it all
Good luck dany
hey guys i wana point sumthings dat u guys say abt khalijees wat do u mean wen u say dat thr too many khaleejis?? is khaleej a country y arent u judging the students from where thy r cuming from instead of the status khaleeji y not say thr 2 kuwaiti guys one omani guy and one saudi guy im an omani but if us khaleejis were so tight as u all mak it out to be then i wouldnt even need a visa to go into a country lik saudi i would hav just breezed through there since us khaleejis r so close and one thing its not fair to put all these diff countries and saying dat one of them should leave bcoz thr too many khaleejis but fairly speaking the country with many contestants is lebanon thy 3 ppl but strangely none of u can see dat but only judge the khaleejis and not only dat judge them for dat name instead of thr individual countries so plz stop doing dat ur judgin them unfairly by doing so saying dat thr too many khaleejis and one of them should leave y?? whil e truth of the matter is frm thr countries thy r not even many contestants so plz judge them frm countries thy came frm and not the word KHALEEJI!!!!!!
Hey guys
I can go to sleep peacefully now knowing AMAL is NOT a nominee II LOOOOOVVVVEEE AMALLL ya reit she wins
Tough luck for dani he really really doesnt deserve to be a nomineee i feel really bad for him i hope he comes back
VOTTEEEE AMAAAAALLL
P.S AHMAD SUCKKSS!!!!! BIG time
i love you amal
I like the three of them, they're funny and talented. It's those annoying brats Amal and Sally who should be nominated. Amal the cry baby messed up really bad and forgot most of the words but those stupid teachers are keeping her.
Ali has a nice voice and plays the oud pefrectly but he needs to work harder and it's not fair that he and Azooz only get one song per prime.
You Khaleeji haters are pathetic and disgusting. you're just jealous because they're polite and act like real gentlemen.
The nominees this week was no surprise.
I may have missed the previous prime, but I can say this; the show is unfair. Not all the candidates in the house are given the fair and equal chance on the night of the live shows. You don’t see Ali doing very much in comparison to Tina. He doesn’t lack talent, he lacks opportunity. He has got a good voice but he isn’t given the chance to show it off. It’s not fair that he is up there for nomination.
The Academy also focuses on certain candidates more than others.
e.g. Ahmed.
Don't get me wrong: I think he a nice character but, he’s not that talented in comparison to others in the Academy for instance, Mohammed who is always composing his own songs and can has a nice singing voice. The only reason why Ahmed does not get his name up for nomination is because of the love triangle that is going on. What love triangle? -Surely, I don’t need to answer that! Everyone is talking about it. It’s the drama and the entertainment that is going on that is keeping him in. Let’s face it, without this guy there wouldn’t be this much buzz going on in the Arab World about the Academy. But how long is this going to last?
I wish everyone in the Academy the best of luck, especially the nominees.
Once again, Dani looks like the week's scapegoat for reasons I cannot fathom. He didn't do too badly in his evaluation...several people did much worse. Ali blew his evaluation big time. Abdel Azizdidn't sell one bit of his evaulation. His delivery is always lacking...and I hate to say this, but the guy doesn't seem to be taking the whole experience seriously. Ahmed's evaluation was a total no go too. His singing was awful and it's not like we didn't know how he felt about Amal...he didn't have to torment the poor girl yet again. While Mohamed's confession to Tina came straight out of left field and caused our collective jaws to drop all the way to our knees, Ahmed's just didn't hit home the same way. The instructor's comments on Ahmed's singing weren't exactly glowing either. Ayoub didn't do too well either and he knew it, but he'll get by with a slap on the wrist this time around, as will Amal, who I must say I can't appreciate as much as I pity the poor girl. If she doesn't snap out of this misery act soon, she's bound to trip up again and not be able to slip by. Hats off to her for her reaction when she blanked out though. Very lucky!!! My choice for third nominee would have been (ok, don't fall out of your chairs) Marwa. Marwa's playing this weird game with her voice....can't decide which of her fabulous voices to hurl at us and is getting confused and confusing the heck out of everyone. Totally out of control or way too sure of herself. She's also got to be made to understand that a singer isn't just about a good voice, which at the moment is up in the air with all her trials. So much more goes into the making of an artist. Look, attitude, determination, sacrifice among other things play heavily into the mix and she's truly having trouble proving that she's got what it takes on all these fronts. Although she's got a cute face and a lovely smile, once your eyes start traveling downward, things don't look nearly as cute anymore. Waddling onto the stage like a baby ducky just doesn't cut it. Attitude, determination and sacrifice are very questionable seeing how much of her effort and concentration are going into pleasing Ahmed and not her art. Mind you, Ahmed doesn't give her the time of day when he's busy with his work. She should've done much better singing "Qalbi Daleeli" but actually was completely off key several times. It's time for a slap on the wrist to whip her back into shape. Sally and Tina's singing wasn't exactly brilliant either. I suppose all four girls were saved this week by the second part of their evaluation which was very creative and well executed. Shaza (the 5th girl was the only one who didn't need saving after the first part of her evaluation which she belted out like a pro).
Back to reality, who should go and who should stay. Ali deserves another chance...more so than Abdel Aziz. Dani should definitely come back, simply because he doesn't deserve to be a nominee this week. So, I guess I'm hoping Ali gets the audience votes and Dani gets his friends' votes. Anyway, all three guys are obviously on the outs....it's just a matter of time.
Bandari,
Amal is getting off with a warning this time around, but she made a great save by not freaking out and just kept alternating between humorous and anguished facial expressions that had the instructors totally baffled until she walked out. Sally's singing wasn't great, but was far from awful. She was also part of a great ensemble act, namely part two of the evaluation, which was excellent and she delivered her part quite well.
Lou lou,
Amen to what you said, especially about Ali. Yes, he does indeed lack opportunity and given more stage time, he'd learn how not to get flustered in a live performance or evaluation. I really feel bad for him. Dani too.
To all,
Please, please stop turning this into a geographical conflict instead of the little reality show it is. No one hates khaleejis, no one despises Egyptians, no one detests the Lebanese and no one abhors the North Africans. For once in our lives, can we try and stand united on one trivial little issue like the next StarAc star? It might show us a way to do so in more serious matters. Can we consider ourselves citizens of the United States of Arabia with one common goal and priority (ridiculous as it may sound), namely selecting a new crooner for this region. Relax everyone, life's way too short for all this anger.
Peace.
Emme
Can someone tell me what exactly did the girls do for their second part of the evaluation (particularly Sally)..they didn't show it on the dailies at all.
Thanks in advance
I think amal should have been nominee she didnt know the song and carlo hes not nice
i dun think ali shoud have been nominee hes so nice and he sang well
Hi Everyone
First of all; don't b lame the teachers on the nomination of any student because its their opinion and they are "the teachers".
Second, please think of the students without considering their nationalities. I am an egyptian and I love Imad, Shaza, Tina and M7amad 2ama7. Thats my opinion without considering where are they from.
Last but not least, about the nomination process; OH MY GOD, TOOOOOOOOOO BORING. Please someone tell them to change it.
Thank you all.
THE PEACE MAKER
SAMER
bonjour a tous
nejla
FINNALY i can sleep well i couldnt sleep properly last night praying that AMAL was not nominee...AMAL HAS GOT ALL STAR QUALITIES AND INSHALLAH SHE CAN CONTINUE TO WORK WELL!
Amal 4 starac4!
it's clear that AMAL has many psycologycol problems.she is ignored by her family, for this reason she is always unhappy and acts as if she is dominated to get people attention.before I loved her but now I didn't because I don't like people who acts like poor wretch only to get charity from people.
in her eval she didn't do well she was the worst but after she finished she cryed alot, so the teachers don't nominate her and they chose Dany & Abdullaziz who did better than her.
This wasn't fair at all
Amal should have been nominee
Do you remember
When Dani forgot the first time he was nominated
The second without a doubt
Ali forgot too he was nominated
Shorou the same thing
I feel there just want to get rid from Dani coz he's young thats why
There are finding reason to get him out
But reason there really haven't got one
This too bad
There already selected who will be at Top 8 or 9 or 10 this time
But there just trying to play some games with us
Plz vote for Dani
He deserve to stay
Coz he works hard !
Yes yes I was sure that AMAL is not nominee. She is one of the best students.
The part she song was really good and her voice was amazing. when I saw the evaluation I didn't thing she forgot the song....really she is very intelligent.
wawwwwwwww wawwwwww I'm very happy for her.
Go amal, go shada, go Imad the best.
Iam so glad that sally, 2ammah and shaza didnt become nominee. Specially Sally, without her u feel that there is something missing in the academy, she is my favourite. Luv u sally
Emme,
It's great to see that you agree with me about Ali. But to be honest, I don't think he is the only one that is lacking opportunity, Azooz too. I agree with you that he isn't trying hard, which is sad because I believe that he can do much better. But I think that maybe because he doesn't feel the importance of it yet. He only sings one song per prime. I think the more songs that can be given to a candidate, the bigger the responsibility (S)he would feel in delievering the song on the live show. So, Ali and Azooz both fall into that situation.
Samer,
I wish there were more people like you posting comments like that up. It's really sad to see that some people don't judge the Candidates for their talent, but judge them from their Country. Nice one.
I think that this weeks nominations were fair for the most part. I think that Ahmed should have been nominated instead of Dani becuase frankly, Dani has a better voice than Ahmed. It would be a shame if Dani went home but somehow I feel that Ali is the one leaving this week.
P.S. Mohammed Kammah all the way!!!!!!! I am not against any country, I look past that when I am watching Star Academy. If anyone was wondering I like in the states but I am from Palestine if anyone hadn't guessed already : )

Ahmad did a better job then Dani. Ahmad is a good singer and I think a lot of you are hating on him because he gets a lot of camera time. He's very entertaining and I enjoy watching him.
for all the people who says that we judge on others by countries, u're wrong, and if u want a proof, i am lebanese and i will rank the students (1-best, 13-worst):
1_Marwa
2_Amal
3_Shaza
4_Carlo
5_Sally
6_Tina
7_Ahmad
8_Dany
9_Imad
10_Abdel Aziz
11_Ayoub
12_Mohammad
13_Ali
This shows that i am not concentrating on lebanese candidates only although they are talented but i judge on talents which is obvious in my rankings.
There are people in one arabic countries (plural) who only support their country's candidates (no comment).
I wish i could see a Tunisian voting vote a Lebanese candidate, an egyptian voting for a kuweity candidate, a moroccan voting for a saudi arabian contestant, a bahranian voting for a tunisian or moroccon contestant......
In this way we may have 1% hope that our contestants may stay even if they are facing strong competetors, i am sick of guessing who will get the highest votes, for example this week, dany may not get mroe than 15%, its so annoying to know who will leave and specialy if u like this one.
everyone who agree with me repeat this Promise
"i promise i will vote for talents and i will consider that all of the contestants are from the same country so i can vote for the one who deserve to stay" . pls everyone who agree with me repeat this promise and realy mean what you're promising bu acheiving this strategy.
May the best win!!
Shadi, Lebanon
you may have missunderstood this phrase "althought the lebanese contestants are talented but i judge on talents" i mean to say "although lebanese contestants are talented but i judge on Stronger talentes" sorry i forgot this word.
Shadi, Lebanon
I've lost LBC and Nagam channel. I mean both the new frequency and old one don't work.Coould you help me?
Amal is the cutest thing ever! !!!!
you nubs i think only you do...shes got some family problems and she is very sensitive and emotive so talk about yourself and dont judge her because she cries
imitating rachel from the last post
don't judge before you know the truth behind her tears
Shadi very good comment!!!
"I promise I will vote for talents and I will consider that all of the contestants are from the same country so I can vote for the one who deserve to stay"
Shadi is right people, vote on talent not on country. Consider that we are Arabs from one big part of the world: Al A3lam al A3rabi! Lol.
Faysal
Mr. Perfect,
What kind of receiver do you have? All regular digital receivers can be manually adjusted to the new frequency 11823 V. If, however, you have Orbit you'll have to wait till they coordinate with Arabsat. I called our local Orbit office who told me that this should be readjusted in a day or two.
Lou lou,
You're right about the unfairness in distribution of stage time, but there is another side to this, namely that it really isn't about quantity but quality. Some of these students have managed to turn 90 seconds into unforgettable art, while others have come and gone totally unnoticed. This, unfortunately is very true as far as Abdel Aziz is concerned. He's a total riot at the academy....funny as ever and very entertaining, but on stage he's barely a blur. Ali's had his 15 seconds of greatness...a tiny glimpse of it till he blanked out on stage. Seems to have coiled up and lives in constant fear ever since. Still, I hope he's given one last chance to get over his fear and really come out and show us what he's all about. The guy has something...it's so obviously there, so I hope he lets it all out if he gets another chance.
To all those who believe Amal should be a nominee:
It seemed like she was in serious trouble after she blanked out at the evaluation, especially after she ran upstairs and the waterworks began. But you've got to remember one thing...she was total pro in the evaluation room. Her facial expressions, which were most likely unintended, were brilliant. She managed to baffle the instructors who had no idea whether that dumb smile she pasted on her face or the look of anguish were part of an act or real until she apologized and said she forgot her lyrics. Ali and Dani looked totally panic stricken when they blanked out, which is exactly what Gaby spent a long time trying to teach them not to do. Amal stayed calm, which is exactly the thing to do. She didn't break down till she was well out of the evaluation area. Kudos to her for that, whether she meant it or not. I personally have major issues with Amal, who I believe is too much of a drama queen to survive such a competition and needs to get her priorities sorted out, but on this particular incident, I was sure that her composure would save the day for her....that and her part in the ensemble act the girls put together.
I'm so glad to see that everyone is promising, vowing and assuring all others that they'll be cheering on and voting for talent rather than geography. Hope that holds true two and a half months from now.
Have a good night all.
Emme,
You're right that the show shouldn't be about quantity but quality. But all the candidates need to feel that they stand a chance of getting to the top. If a candidate comes out to sing one song per prime and watches others do about three or four it, in an indirect manner, gets them down. And that is when they may start to think negative about themselves instead of believe themselves. I like Azooz, but he's just not giving his best. I honestly believe that he can do a lot better than this. At the same time, so can Ali. But at least, he has his few seconds of shine. But Azooz, I feel like he has lost the importance and the meaning of this contest. I sometimes think that he has given up (which does make me sad). I don't wane him to go. At the same time I don't want Ali or Dany to go either. Tough one.
Best of luck to them all on Friday.
Shadi,
Good Comment. Like Faysal said,
"Al A3lam al A3rabi!"
Count me in :)
"i promise i will vote for talents and i will consider that all of the contestants are from the same country so i can vote for the one who deserve to stay"
I hope others do the same and stick to their words.
does anyone know what happened betweed imad and all the khallegi boys?if anyone knows please tell me....i really want to know
Lou lou,
You make a very good point, but there are more bench warmers than just Ali and Abdel Aziz. Imed hasn't been getting much stage time even though the guy has so much charisma (more so than Ahmed in my opinion, and no, I'm no basing my opinion on his looks). But he hasn't allowed that to bring him down. In fact, I've never seen a more positive character than him, who puts his best foot forward every step of the way. I've watched recordings of previous primes and noticed that when Mohamed doesn't sing one of his own songs, he's literally not given any stage time but one third of an awful song if he's so lucky, but he makes the most of it and doesn't allow himself to go into a major slump over it. He goes back and writes/composes a song and imposes his presence on everyone there, including the audience. He makes things happen. He doesn't watch them happen and allow himself to get swept out of the academy as a result. I won't go into all the positive an negative attributes of the other students....too long a list and it's very late.
You see, all I'm trying to say here is they're all there....they've been selected during the casting presumably for their potential. So, they're there...live (or not) on reality TV. They have one of two options. Make the most of this experience, whether fair or unfair on the part of the academy and come out proud of themselves for their initiative and possible career prospects or sit around and mope or horse around aimlessly and get the royal boot. You do the math, or rather they should do the math. Right?
Ciao
AMAL is the best! great composure and extremely well played....just because she got alot of emotions and is very sensitive does not mean anything ok...she is fantastic and did not deserve to be nominee because like everyone else she makes mistakes but unlike anyone else she made it seem part of her act...
