excuse me but i am not showing off or something but u should admitt that the kuwieties aren't the best looking people in the arab countries, don't forget that a wissam hanna (mr. lebanon) won rhe Mr. International competition and the 1st runner up in miss lebanon (annabella hilal) went to the finals and she was competing in miss world, they put groups (africa, america, north europe...) and Annabella was in south europe group...and guess what, she was qualified to the finals. and dont forget the georgina rizk won miss world in 1970.
my point is that lebanese guys and girls are from best looking arab country's people, and we shouldn't forget tunisia and egypt...but i mean that if u realy wanna judge on best looking arab country the 3 countries are Lebanon, Tunisia, and Egypt. i dont mean that kuweit or morocco or algeria etc. aren't good looking, but in general we considered the 3 best looking arab countries and i think that some of the lebanese people's beauty is caused by the marriage of lebanese and french people when they came and dominate us from a long time, but that's not the only reason. plus tunisia and french have also realtionship.

:) Impressive. But I would like to clear things up here - not just in your comment but in the others too. Beauty is not what you see on the outside, it is what is on the inside. I'm sure many have heard that many times but, they don't remember it many times. Yes, it may be reality TV - but that doesn't give you the whole experience of getting to know the inside of the person. It's sad to see people posting their comments saying that Marwa is prettier than Amel(or vice versa) or give a list of negative things esp. in one case saying that Marwa looks fat. Please people, there are better things to debate about than this.
I believe that beauty is only present in a person who has the ability of showing their inside nature and inside qualities. It's not about what's on the outside. It's the inside that makes them the person that they are.
That's why Wissam Hanna did amazingly well in Mr. International. It's not that he was stunning, but it was his intelligence, attitude and behaviour that got him to the top. In my eyes- I see him as a prince among many men. Because until now, none of these events have changed him and who he is. He is such a simple person but is a very truthful and hard-working man.
I admire this guy alot. If it wasn't for his inside qualities, he would not have done that well and gone that far. Not just in that competition but also in his life.
To sum it up, beauty is not about geography, it's about human quality.

yesss, hanaa is so much prettier(and thinner), i liked chayma's voice but she wasn't that pretty and you just need to take picture of the girls in the academy and then a picture of them singing on stage, you'll see the difference. i didn't say chayma and marwa were ugly, i think they're very beautiful but not as beautiful like hanaa and amel. but i must admit that marwa's voice is so much better than amel's and i think amel will get nominated soon(of corse i don't hope so)and marwa will get higher. but of all this this wasn't the topic--> the question was: does Ahmed love Marwa: i think not, he told amel that he isn't allowed to love, so why would he love marwa???? this is all bullshit were talking about, can we all just focus on the voices of the students( let Shaza win!!!!!!!!!!) and stop following the stupid substories!!!! this all just game they're playing so ppl will keep watching(amel and marwa aren't foes). im not against tunisians i have family from tunisia, and if no moroccan wins i hope that the tunisians will represent north-africa.

I think that Marwa and ahmed do like each other. You can tell by the way they look at each other, and act around each other. I hope they make it to the finals because they are sooo cute to watch, and they are talented!
In my opinion, I think marwa is the prettiest girl in the academy, inside and out. She doesn't think she's better than everyone(like shaza), and she takes people's criticism's very well.
Lastly, chayma was prettier than hanaa in my opinion.

There's no love story between Ahmed and Marwa, they're friends and nothing serious is going on which may lead to love and and then marriage. They look funny and cute together. I'm even surprised neither one of you commented on Mohamed's shocking confession to Tina when he said that he loved her and she was deeply frustrated when she told Ayoub that he embaressed her infront of the teachers and everybody was watching them.
In terms of voice, Marwa's voice is 10 times better than Hana's and she should nicknamed the Fayrouz of the Academy, she's got a golden voice and hopefully, Osama Rahbani will take her under his wing so move over Amani!

Well, Amal did confess loving Ahmad but she wasn't throwing herself on him as Marwa, she is always following him and stiking to him, she got jalous when he talked to Tina, or when she saw a heart drawn with his name in it and sally's. Even her mom is trying to tell her to work harder and stop having fun with the boy. ( he's top1 she's out for two weeks now)
Amal mistake was to trust Marwa and tell her about her feelings.
Anyway, Amal now knows that Ahmed does not love her and she already get over him. Now it's Marwa's turn to concentrate more on her work and invest less energy on "The Wonderful Freindship" between Ahmed and her. Ahmed likes her but does not love her. And by the way, khaliji men love north african women.
However, I think that Tunisienne, Moroccan or Algerian they all look good, and all previous and recent candidates are good looking and diferents from each others. I like hanna as much as I like Chaima.

I agree that we shouldn't be so caught up with beauty, beauty is on the inside and nadiah and memo's comments are arrogant and untrue. I'm bahraini and I have a cousin who married an algerian and they are living happily together. Beauty is not by each country. We arabs are spread everywhere, ou have syrians called "el masri", and lebanese called "el maghrebi" for example! Each country has beautiful people. BTW Ahmed (like Nawal El Kuwaitia (a beautiful Kuwaiti!), Hussain El Jassmi and Shams) is originally Iranian. Ayoub is originally Indian, which is why he looks Indian. Shorouq is of African origin. There are beautiful girls in el khalij but as you know khaliji countries are more conservative than other Arab countries and so it's very hard for girls to get on a show like Star Academy. Shorouq's family is a very very liberal family which is originally African. Really, there is no place with more beauty, don't forget most Lebanese female singers have had a lot of plastic surgery.

à propos marwa et ahmed je pense ke c lui ki l'aime le + elle est trop jeune et peut etre c sa première expérience elle parait hésitente mais ça se voit de sa façon dont il la regarde il l'admire. :) Impressive. But I would like to clear things up here - not just in your comment but in the others too. Beauty is not what you see on the outside, it is what is on the inside. I'm sure many have heard that many times but, they don't remember it many times. Yes, it may be reality TV - but that doesn't give you the whole experience of getting to know the inside of the person. It's sad to see people posting their comments saying that Marwa is prettier than Amel(or vice versa) or give a list of negative things esp. in one case saying that Marwa looks fat. Please people, there are better things to debate about than this.
I believe that beauty is only present in a person who has the ability of showing their inside nature and inside qualities. It's not about what's on the outside. It's the inside that makes them the person that they are.
That's why Wissam Hanna did amazingly well in Mr. International. It's not that he was stunning, but it was his intelligence, attitude and behaviour that got him to the top. In my eyes- I see him as a prince among many men. Because until now, none of these events have changed him and who he is. He is such a simple person but is a very truthful and hard-working man.
I admire this guy alot. If it wasn't for his inside qualities, he would not have done that well and gone that far. Not just in that competition but also in his life.
To sum it up, beauty is not about geography, it's about human quality.

yesss, hanaa is so much prettier(and thinner), i liked chayma's voice but she wasn't that pretty and you just need to take picture of the girls in the academy and then a picture of them singing on stage, you'll see the difference. i didn't say chayma and marwa were ugly, i think they're very beautiful but not as beautiful like hanaa and amel. but i must admit that marwa's voice is so much better than amel's and i think amel will get nominated soon(of corse i don't hope so)and marwa will get higher. but of all this this wasn't the topic--> the question was: does Ahmed love Marwa: i think not, he told amel that he isn't allowed to love, so why would he love marwa???? this is all bullshit were talking about, can we all just focus on the voices of the students( let Shaza win!!!!!!!!!!) and stop following the stupid substories!!!! this all just game they're playing so ppl will keep watching(amel and marwa aren't foes). im not against tunisians i have family from tunisia, and if no moroccan wins i hope that the tunisians will represent north-africa.

I think that Marwa and ahmed do like each other. You can tell by the way they look at each other, and act around each other. I hope they make it to the finals because they are sooo cute to watch, and they are talented!
In my opinion, I think marwa is the prettiest girl in the academy, inside and out. She doesn't think she's better than everyone(like shaza), and she takes people's criticism's very well.
Lastly, chayma was prettier than hanaa in my opinion.

There's no love story between Ahmed and Marwa, they're friends and nothing serious is going on which may lead to love and and then marriage. They look funny and cute together. I'm even surprised neither one of you commented on Mohamed's shocking confession to Tina when he said that he loved her and she was deeply frustrated when she told Ayoub that he embaressed her infront of the teachers and everybody was watching them.
In terms of voice, Marwa's voice is 10 times better than Hana's and she should nicknamed the Fayrouz of the Academy, she's got a golden voice and hopefully, Osama Rahbani will take her under his wing so move over Amani!

for the one who said Ahmad cannot love Marwa because he knows his culture.. Well, Amal did confess loving Ahmad but she wasn't throwing herself on him as Marwa, she is always following him and stiking to him, she got jalous when he talked to Tina, or when she saw a heart drawn with his name in it and sally's. Even her mom is trying to tell her to work harder and stop having fun with the boy. ( he's top1 she's out for two weeks now)
Amal mistake was to trust Marwa and tell her about her feelings.
Anyway, Amal now knows that Ahmed does not love her and she already get over him. Now it's Marwa's turn to concentrate more on her work and invest less energy on "The Wonderful Freindship" between Ahmed and her. Ahmed likes her but does not love her. I agree that we shouldn't be so caught up with beauty, beauty is on the inside and nadiah and memo's comments are arrogant and untrue. I'm bahraini and I have a cousin who married an algerian and they are living happily together. Beauty is not by each country. We arabs are spread everywhere, ou have syrians called "el masri", and lebanese called "el maghrebi" for example! Each country has beautiful people. BTW Ahmed (like Nawal El Kuwaitia (a beautiful Kuwaiti!), Hussain El Jassmi and Shams) is originally Iranian. Ayoub is originally Indian, which is why he looks Indian. Shorouq is of African origin. There are beautiful girls in el khalij but as you know khaliji countries are more conservative than other Arab countries and so it's very hard for girls to get on a show like Star Academy. Shorouq's family is a very very liberal family which is originally African. Really, there is no place with more beauty, don't forget most Lebanese female singers have had a lot of plastic surgery.
