This prime was far better than any other previous primes. Seriously, all the students shined in their own ways and it seemed like they had a burst of confidence in them. I also liked the ideas for the performances this time...it was very creative and it might be part of what brought out the best of each student...let's see.

The group singing "insan" - that was reallly great. The song is amazing and Mohammad amma7 gave me goosebumps singing it. His voice really suited the song..too bad he only sang a small part of it. I don't think they did so well singing as a choir ..they seemed to sing on different levels and didnt really mesh well in the end but nonetheless the song was amazing

The "london Bridge" by tina - I'm sorry but that was disgusting...really disgusting. First of all, the song's lyrics in general are stupid and a perfomrance like that should never be accepted by us arabs. The dancing was very provocative and i felt very uncomfortable watching it ( i think at one point Tina and the other dancers wrapped their arms around the boy dancer in a way that i dont even wish to explain here)..whatever. Tina didnt have any type of control over her voice as she was singing. Other than the background scenery..the whole performance was a failure in my opinion. awful awful choice by whoever chooses the songs.

Shaza, Amal, Iman - There performance in the black suits was really enjoyable. It seemed they rehersed it well and i liked it's idea. Also they all sounded great (even though Iman didnt really get to sing much in it)

"My Way" - probably THE BEST performance of the night. amazing, amazing, amazing....they all did so well in it and the piano was great. You could tell Faudel was really blown away by the students as they come out one after the other. See, classy performances and songs like that are what make the prime really spectacular.

Amma7 and Tina's song - that was really cute. The piano playing was great and they sounded really nice together. I liked how it was a duet song where there is a conversation going on in the lryics between the two singers. Tina's words were really nice and Amma7 is just brilliant at composing the music...very well done.

I also thought the nominees did their songs really well this time and they seemed to have a lot of confidence in them in the begining of the prime but towards the prime you could tell that Sally was very nervous ..maybe most out of all three.
I'm glad she was saved though...she needs a second chance but i expect to see alot of progress from her in the next week..otherwise she will be nominated again.
Dani better have stayed anyway or i would have been really mad. Thay boy has got talent. He voice is so good..it's really enjoyable to listen to him and he is doing so well in the primes. I don't know what happens to him in the evaluations...he needs to know that he is really good and have some confidence in himself.
Iman had to leave. even though i dont like her personality too much but i was sad to see her leave. However, it had to be her and i understand that. I wish her luck in the future anyway..whatever she does.

Ahmad was really happy Saly was aaved lol. i dont think i have ever seen him react that way after any of the others were saved....lol kinda funny

Is it just me or are Tina and Shaza dominating the primes? Don;t get me wrong..i love both of them but it just seems very unfair. and dont even say because they are most talented because i believe Mohammad, Dani, and Imad are equally talented and have amazing voices ..yet you only see them sing one or twice at most

They wont put dany or sally, im sure because ali, abdel-aziz, and ayoub arent that good in the academy. But ayoub is the best one out of those three and abdel-aziz is the worst. I was looking forward to seeing Adam perform but he only sang one. Why is that?? That was very dissapointing to me. I wanted to see more of him. Anyway, His voice is incredible & He keep's getting hotter as he get's older :P

I enjoyed Faudel's performance's, especially "3abdel Khader". It's cute how he kissed Amal & Tina's hand's. He's such a sweetheart!

I was happy with the end result's. I figured that Imane was gonna leave either way. I like her personally but let's be serious, she's dead weight.

I have a random question -
Where do the student's get the outfit's they wear in the prime's?? Do they go shopping everyweek for their outfit's or is it from their own wardrobe?

is it me or is ahmed getting too too too much credit? i mean his voice really sucks big time, does any1 agree with me? he shouldnt have been top4 for i think 4 weeks now..and also friend of the week twice!! plus what they r doing with the whole love triangle with amal, ahmed, and marwa is really getting annoying!(i feel so sorry for amal) hes not a bad singer but they overrate him. tina should have been top1, but i didnt like her 'london bridge' song...too provocative and her voice didnt sound good in that song. everything else was good, i loved the song where they all sang together, it sounded very nice! well anyway....good luck imane!

Oh no!! I have lost half of my Arabic Channels and even LBC. Gutted :( I almost cried. What a great line up of celebs; Fadel, Cyrine and Adam. I knew it was going to be good. It just had to be my day. :( so gutted.

I now will have to rely on the internet for the Star Academy News in the meantime until I get the aeriel fixed. hopefully it shouldn't be too long.

The results were somewhat expected though.

yemenia, I have to agree with you on this one.

A7mad is way over-rated. Don't get me wrong, I like the guy personally, he's probably one of my favorite student's in the academy. He's easy going & an all around nice guy but he's not that great of a singer. Yes, he is charismatic on stage but that really doesn't make up for his lack of a good voice. He does have potential though, he just need's a lot of work. I would say he's probably the 2nd to worst out of all the 5aleejees, w/ 3azooz being the worst. & him getting #1 in the top 4 was a mistake.

I have a question about Shaza's invitation to dine w/ Faudel. Was Shaza faudel's personal choice or did M.Roula tell him to choose Shaza because she was the friend of the week?

I think Faudel is the one who invited Shaza out. He seemed totally in awe of her when she was singing (and he was quite right to feel that way....she was amazing tonight). He said something about wanting to get to know her better.

LBC and Nagham's frequency has changed from 11750 to 11823. You need to manually change the frequency if you have a regular digital receiver. Piece of cake - shouldn't take more than 2 minutes. Those who have Orbit receivers just need to unplug their machines for a minute.

The clothes the students wear at the Friday primes are provided by LBC's wardrobe dept. They also don't get much say in what they wear. The ultimate decision maker on all these issues is Roula Saad. She also decides hair and make-up and has to green light hair cuts, colors, extensions, etc. Just like any other regular production. Talents just get to perform. The rest is up to the production team.

The prime was quite good. A huge departure from last week's blur. All the students performed better. It's almost as if some of the advice they've been getting over the weeks has finally hit home.

Tina's London Bridge performance could've been a lot better if her singing was better. She was totally out of breath after the first 30 seconds. I don't think it was provocative though.

Faudel really rocked the house this year. He was great and truly brought out the best in all those who sang with him. Cyrene was quite bad. All the girls who sang with her sounded much better and far more professional than her. Adam should've gotten more stage time than Cyrene. He was wonderful.

The group song was very good and all those who sang solos, especially Mohamed and Shaza were amazing. Mohamed's soulful voice goes straight to your heart. Shaza's voice has matured quite a bit since the start of the season and she really has more control over it. If she continues at this rate, she'll be the one to beat this year!! She should've been this week's top 1.

I, too, feel that Ahmed is way too overrated and this won't be good for him in the long run. His voice needs a lot of work, as does his overall stage performance, which is still awkward and uneasy.

Whether Tina did mouth "b7ebak" to Mohamed or not is no big deal. Sometimes in the euphoria of the moment - particularly an intense moment people say things they don't really mean -- sort of out of gratitude or relief. Don't judge her or anyone else on stuff like that. Judge their performance, their initiative and their talent.

I'm very happy Dani and Sally are back. Sally's anguish, shame or fear were almost too painful to watch before the results were announced. Dani looked like he was ready to burst when he realized he had enough votes in the bag to make it through and was really sweet when the guys charged him across the stage. He counted on them and they didn't let him down.

Carlo is a complete snob. His girlfriend doesn't know how to stand up for herself against his rude way of talking to her, but it seems the guy after watching the video decided to apologize to her for his behavior and it's just stupid after all these weeks!
Tina's song is horrible, it's kind of a hooker's song due the nature of the lyrics.
I'm happy for Ahmed, he desreved to get the 1st place, he's not overrated, he's got a great voice, charisma and doesn't forget the words so the teachers are satisfied with him. Just stop talking negative stuff about him, Ali and Azouz.
Tonight, Danny, Ayoub, Ahmed, Tina, Mohamed and Marwa were great.

I can think of several reasons why Faudel might want to ask Shaza and not the other girls out. 1. She's the most mature of the lot. The rest are teenagers and I'm sure he's past that stage. 2. She's an interesting young lady and people do want to know more about her. 3. She is very talented and has an amazing voice. She could be someone he might want to collaborate with in the future. Mind you, she's part North African like himself, lived in France for a number of year...speaks all the languages he speaks. Lots of promising prospects there. I'm glad she got this surprise tonight. She's had a great night on stage and this must have crowned it all for her.

Ps. Did any of you catch Amal's act at the window when Imane was leaving? You'd have thought that Imane was (God forbid) dead and not just going home. Did I miss something here, but when were Imane and Amal such tight friends?? Does this kid need help or something?

I enjoyed the Prime tonight.. I thought the first song with Faudel, Ahmed, Imad, and Amal was really good. They all did a great job! I don't understand why you guys are hating on Ahmed... He's a great guy with a good voice.. Being in the Top 4 is not based on singing only...It's how you are overall in the academy with all your classes... DON'T HATE...Alf Mabrouk Ahmed and Imad, Top 1 and 2!!
One more thing... whats up with Madam Roula and her choices for wardorbe for the students? I didn't like how she dressed Ahmed, Amal and Ali.. All students should either wear casual clothing or dress up..

This prime was fantastic everyone did a great job. All the students were confidant and gave great performances. Good luck to Iman but I am so glad Danny stayed I love him. Faudel and the students sang my way beautifully. Faudel rocks. Does anyone know the name of the last song faudel sang by himself. Faudel was so polite and he was toatlly encouraging when the students were singing. I thought shaza, and marwa should have been in the top four and Tina should have been number one. I would aslo like to add that it wasn't Tina's fault that she had to sing London Bridge she doesn't choose the songs or the dances. Mohamad and Tina's song was really nice and they sang it well. Mohamad is so talented.

The prime was one of the best!!! It was 100% better than last week's borefest. Hilda was gorgeous and the guests were great except for serrine she can't sing, just because she is beautiful doesn't mean she can sing! My favourite tableaus...were pracitcally all of them. The Charlies Angels one was sooooo good, same with all the ones with the always happy Faudel! Mohammed is very talented every week coming up with his own song. I adored his collabaration with Tina. Some things did bother me though why is Ahmad number one. I feel that the other students are improving while he isn't!!!! Did Roula coordinate what Ahmad, Ali and Amal were wearing, haha they all looked the same. Behabek Danny. I'm so happy he stayed, he is so talented. This prime was over all great!

- i love TINAS dance in london bridge...she did a great job and guys you have to admit is was HIGLY ENTERTAINING which is the main thing...

- The Charlies Angels song and dance done by AMAL , SHAZA, AND IMAN was great!!! AMAL was so cute and beautiful in it that i just didnt get enough of her...i mean she Looked so so BEAUTIFUL and shes such a tayouba!!!!! omg i love her to death...also what i love about AMAL is her beautfiul spirit and she does not hurt anybody yet people started talking about her when she was gone and yes i think thats the MAIN REASON their was not a friend of the week....AMAL is beautiful inside out and she has got a beautiful face and body....great charisma...Oh and how cute was it when they were during the charlies angel dance and she slid underneath them on the floor...omg SHE is so inncoent and great...hope AMAL WINS STARAC4...(sorry guys about me blabbing on...i swear i love this girl!) ---(also i would love to talk to others people about amal...shaza can i have ur email>..)

Mohammad Kammah is the best Coz his voice is so romantic,great ,tender and he is really cute,but i didnt like his song with Tina coz her voice was really bad in that song and both voices didnt match at all.4 me there is only one winner ,inshallah,Kammah . I think it's funny how people hate Mawra because Ahmad likes her better than Amal.
