After creating the most beautiful music melodies in the whole world for Fayrouz and others, Elias El Rahbani decided to artistically adopt “Dana” who is famous with her song “Ana Dandan” which is talking about how much she is beautiful and gorgeous without any plastic surgeries!
Everyone including me, and I believe you will share this with me as well, is greatly surprised that Elias who comes from a very famous artistic family can even listen to that kind of singing. It started when he made a song for Haifa Wehbe called “Badi Eish” and ended up with this.
Can Elias, the harsh judge of Super Star, accept this for his history and his fans?
I greatly doubt. Or what do you think?

Elias Rahbani is an opportunist that dances to the music of he or she who pays more.
He is a good musician no doubt but a double-crossing arrivist. On Super Star he brags along saying "We the Arabs" as if he was born yesterday in Jeddah, then appears on the local catholic religious Lebanese television mocking the Arabs.
He slams contestants with average voices on superstar then goes working with voiceless people like Haifa and now Dana as you say.
He preaches good authentic singing while his own son and daughter-in-law are the creators of the 4 cats, probably the most failed and out-of-tune quartet in the history of singing.
But I understand the dude, he needs to make a living, otherwise he will die starving as many of the great Lebanese real artists who refused to compromise their principles for a few more dollars.
From what I hear, his business is booming just by faking liking Arabs and adopting sexy starlets with no voice and a good pair of legs and b oo bs.

Surprisingly I agree with lebchris!! Summed him up perfectly but he does not want to end up pennyless like his cousin Ziad, but atleast Ziad has Fairuz's fortune to rely on in the future (Ba3da 3omr Tawil inshalla).... Never know what the future holds...
Talk about whoever you want guys but do not talk about Ziad el Rahbani. I understand he does lead a weird lifestyle BUT PLEASE this man is a genius. He can compose some really good stuff. Back in the 70's he was astonishing. Actually the new song he made for Latifa is actually good! Ziad is a mastermind.

I find it ironic that a musician from an artistic family works with these talentless rich bimbos and rejects young people who want to show their musical talents.
No wonder I like Osama very much, at least he's an intelligent artist and composer with a great taste for music, not the trash we listen today.
