Here comes the Arabic version of National Geographic that will be published in Egypt starting from February. The magazine will be a mix between National Geographic for Kids and National Geographic Explorer and will be targeting youth.
This great information was announced in a big ceremony that was held last Thursday and the guests were ministers and remarkable figures. Mohamed Ahmed Ibrahim, the CEO of Nahdet Misr publishing house, said that the prestigious organization of National Geographic has been always a center of science, exploration, discovery and adventures.
Turns Adamson, Vice President of the National Geographic organization, said that he was always dreaming of publishing the first magazine of National Geographic in Arabic language to be added to more than other 14 languages. He also said that the first article that was published in the magazine in 1901 was about the pharaohs and the Egyptian civilization that has been always the subject of lots of articles.
He talked about that first article that was about the mystery of the death of Tut Ankh Amoon and the other mystery of death of the scientist who studied this issue and died as well in a very mysterious way.
Personally, I am so excited to hear that news and can’t wait to read the first issue of the Arabic National Geographic.
