it's phoenecia not venecia

This show is not a true competition. It is about who you know, not how you sing. My Lebanese husband was chosen in the first round, one month ago, and was told to return to the hotel Phoenecia on March 2, 2007. The organisers or producers of this show called him at least 3 times during the month to confirm that he will attend at the hotel. My husband has been preparing and training his voice for one month everyday. When the day finally arrived he woke up early and went to the hotel to audition for the next round, with about 35 other people who were also chosen to audition. After waiting all this time, a man came out and read 8 names and said these people have been chosen and he was sorry and "khals". He offered no explanation as to why he didn't have the auditions and allow the people who had trained so hard to sing. He just shut the door in their faces after confirming with them for the past month that they must be prepared to sing and try out for the next round. My husband said all except the 8 whose names were called were in shock. Most of them started crying. Some were angry and security was called. They were treated like trespassers! They weren't even given a chance!! Competition or Corruption??????? They deserve an explanation.
