The last video of the Former Iraqi president Saddam Hussein after he was executed by hanging is of him lying lifeless in a white shroud in the back of a vehicle. The video showed Saddam with his head twisted at the neck, a bruise on his left cheek and what appeared to be bleeding at the point on the left side of the neck where the noose was tightened.
Saddam will be buried Sunday in the same cemetery as his sons.

I believe Saddam was a great President, he surely made some mistakes like all humans and presidents, but he kept Iraq proud at his time. He even defied USA and Israel when nobody dared.

I think Saddam Hussain deserves to be hung even though i do not agree with the death penalty. Some people i know had sons taken away from them and shot for no reason,widows have emerged as have orphans. Saddam took the lives of many innocent people and the only way to repay that is by taking his own life. Look at Saddam as a person--which human man would kill his own son in law...his own daughters husband!Who would torture his followers by cutting off their ears or hand for just the crime of speaking their mind?So even if Saddam wasn't executed-would he still be sorry for the lives he took away and for the families he destroyed?I don't think so.I think any mother who had her son murdered would want to see his murderer dead and by the execution of Saddam they got what they wanted even if it doesn't bring their dead back they now know that something has been done to gain compensation.Personally I can't see why other people other than Iraqis are sad to see Saddam go I mean why would anyone look up to a dictator who killed people from his OWN country. Hitler is hated because he was a dictator but Hitler had the decency not to kill Germans from his own country.
It's digusting the way those fools are calling Saddam a martyr as they ignored the pain of every single Iraqi mother, sister, wife and daughter whose loved ones were annihilated by that monster and his thugs. So what if the government decided to have him anged him on the Eid? Thousands of innocent Iraqis were tortured and executed in the Holy month of Ramadan and both Eids, that means every day of the year is the same whether it's a holiday or not.

Being an Indian Hindu, I have no personal stake on either side - USA or Iraq. From an objective standpoint, the question isnt really whether Saddam was good or evil. Bush attacked Iraq on the pretext that it has weapons of mass destruction but the US troops failed to find even a single WMD after invading iraq. So the US committed a war crime and did not even so far as accept its mistake forget apologising. This is clearly wrong.
