Whatever happens to Harry will mean big bucks for Rowling. She's now 41 and has sold 52 million copies worldwide earning her a whopping £540m fortune which is over a billion dollars. How ironic it is knowing that she didn't even have the money to photocopy the fist book and had to retype it all by her self!

I believe that Ms. Rowling has given us a hint as to what will happen to Harry in the naming of her book. Look up HALLOWS in the dictionary. It means to revere or consecrate. Then look up consecrate. It means to induct into with a religious rite, to make or declare sacred, to devote solely to a purpose.
Those are hints. But what do they mean? I believe she is pointing in a direction.
While I certainly don't want Harry to die, I'm preparing for the worst. That way, if he does die, I'll be expecting it and therefore not overly traumitized...but it will still feel like a punch to the gut. I really hope he's able to live happily ever after...he deserves it after all he's been through.
I really hope Harry will live at the end. It would be a pitty if he don't. I truly be desperate if Voldemort kill him. He does not deserve that. Hopefully Malfoide dies!
I must say that the loss of Dumbledore shook me, and it would be an absolutely horrific thing if Harry was killed. I'm thinking that it will be somebody thats close to Harry, probably a Weasley.
I really hope Harry won't die.. it would be excruciating.. and I might be delusional but u I still hope he and Hermione get together..
however JK said 2 main characters are going to die.. I'm putting mybets on Voldemort and Hagrid ='( he is one of my fav. really..but i just havethis feeling that he will die in the upcoming book..and i bet u anything the title is about the Horcruxes

importent role played by Wormtail as Dumbledore had said in book 3 that, one day Harry will be glad that he saved Peter's life.
About being the two main characters dying in the final book most probably it is Voldemort and Ron. I am expecting Lupin,Hagrid and Hermione to survive the 7th book and Snape may also die.I think Dumbledore Sacrificed hims3ely for the sake of Snape to give him a Secure him i n vodemort eyes.
hermoine and ron cant be harry's killers because they are his most loyal and best friends.
I think Harry will survive strangly enough.When JK Rowling talks about the two main characters dieing I think She means Snape and Voldemort. I think Harry will kill them both ina duel. and as to the name ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows’ I cant help wondering if the name has got any thing to do with Harry saying he would go to Godrics Hollow as it sais on page 607 of the book
Don't be surprised if Harry does sacrifice himself. Don't get me wrong, I will be upset if he dies but look at great authors and thier main charachters; Shakespere....Romeo & Juliet..Hamlet. Also, in Harry's world, death is just the next adventure!

Well,i didnt buy books 3&4..so i m not absolutely sure what happened , although i watched the movies..(but they re always cutting some parts out)Somehow i have a feeling that either ron or hermione will murder their best friend under the influence of the imperius curse...just a gut feeling..I dont see how one day harry will be glad he saved wormtail's life...I dont want Harry to be killed!Dumbledore 's death was bad enough already...+Rowling said she 's gonna kill off more characters....*shivers*
nooo i dont want any of harry's close friends to die let alone harry....i really hated it wen dumbledore died it was shocking....wat if its ginny that dies??...cuz in the previous book he sez he dosent want to risk voldemort finding out that they're together...i really hope not they really match eatchother..........

i really hope harry dies. he's been a real pain in the neck for voldemort who's had to come backf rom the dead like 2 times. harry has no special talnet all he can do is love. voldemort awesomely powerful. now dumbys dead voldemort could kill harry with a flick of his wand.

Well, my favorite character is Hermione Granger. I still think she has a big chance of dying, because she is a threat to Voldemort and he knows about her now. Ron is useless, let him die. I think McGonagall will die. I just hope Hermione lives through the war, if she dies, then I will be in depression
when dumbledore died it shook me very much and it felt like a part of me died. if harry were to die or one person close to him like hermione,ron,hagrid,etc i think i would stop reading the book. If it were up to me i would want Voldemort of course(voldemort-ahole and wise guy)and snape because you must remember snape is going to be one of the top 5 main characters in this one. another thing is that what a main character is to some people may not be to JK Rowling, you never know she might think someone like tonks,lupin,Scrimgeour,or mcgonagall are main characters. i dont think tha is the way that you can end a great series of books like this one. Look at Lord of the Rings HAPPY ENDING and everyone is happy and nobody dies:)

okay, so i've been expecting this book for a while, and a lot of info has been pointing, not to harrys death, but maybe to rons. Such as a post someone put up that said, the weasleys clock doesn't point to, mortal peril for a reason, so i'm goin for the death of ron. Although i have expected harrys death to be possible, for reasons such as, dying (literally) to see his paarents again, or voldemort weakening him with the scar. But thats it, just so you can expect it. Also, i think petegrew may die too, i'm not sure, it was probably sirius's dying wish, but i just get this feeling about that guy, anywho, hope i was a help
I think that at the end of the book,harry and voldemort are going to be in priot incantantum,and that wormtail is going to kill voldemort.i also think that he will then kill harry.i think the prohfecy saying neither can live while the other survives mean they must both die.i really dont want harry to die,but he is probably going to.
well, IMHO, i think it all comes down to Harry, neville and voldermort since the prophecy is about them... maybe Neville and Voldermort will die. I also think it maybe snape, draco, ron or ginny...i mean, Luna and Hermione was not entranced by the voices in the Veil (w/c sirius falls through). i also expect Dumbledore to be a portrait :) I also think that Snape is still a double agent, acting under Dumbledore's orders and that Draco may also join Harry's side since snape is his mentor. I also think there maybe a chance for Harry and Hermione romance and Ron and Luna romance...
Deathly Hallows- Grodric's Hallow maybe? or what about the hallow's eve that harry's parents died? cause they got killed on halloween night.
am i the only person who thought that the title for the 7th book could've been Harry Potter and the Heir of Slytherin? a bit obvious yeah, but it kinda makes sence you know.
there must be somethig with Draco Malfoy because he really didn't want to kill Dumbledore, and also Wormtail was said to playa bigger part in the stories.
