i saw the prime, im glad there are nice voices this season..and nice talents..but i was a little upset that there were no palestinians or jordanians this season...most of the girls look great though

The prime was so nice specially the part when the Mohammed, Khaled, Ayoub, Shorouk, Entisar, where singing while playing with the help of Tina & Dany...

I was shocked of an amazing surprise when i saw the students cause Mohamed is a friend of mine & he never even said he was going to the Academy !!!!

By the way the lebanese students are 4 not 3 cause u forgot to mention Nelly Ma3touk
and it was Emad from Tunisia who sang with Dany & Wael Kefoury.

THE STUDENTS ARE FANTASTIC especially the ones from lebanon and morrocco and the stage, lighting, costumes, dances and music in this prime was fantastic and guess what this was just the beginning!!!

LOOKING FORWARD TO THE GREAT SEASON of Star Acandemy 4 and i don't know about anyoone else but this season has a different sense to it don't you think....

ALSO GOOOOOO LEBANON ---your are fantastic that despite war you still continue to entertain and run the best show ever!

yeah at the begenning i was like yakhhh what s that when they took off their masks but then they looked nice especially the girls. but i dont know didnt anyone notice like me that some of them look like some students in the past years especially the audi guy looks like dossary and some others that i cant remember their names look like joseph and zizi... i dont know maybe i m wrong. anyway wish them the best and lets enjoy it!

They needed to have a student to represent each country. I don't think its fair that most of the students are from Lebanon. Where are the Libyans, Algerians, Jordians, Syrians, UAE and Palestians.
Anyways, I will try to enjoy this season.

BELLA ....it is afterall a lebanese show and there are only 4 lebanese contestants..one more than egypt...any there are no algerians, lybians..etc...becuase there was no outstanding talent in those countries that could be recognised as potential to star academy...

AFTER ALL lebanon is the home to the stars...

I agree with Bella....It is an Arab show located in Lebnanon..its not just for the Lebanese people..Im sure there were other talented people from other countries that tried out, but the show is rigged. They want someone from Lebanon to win again because of the war and they feel bad for them. They should be ashamed, instead of rebuilding their country they are singing on stage half naked.

Hey all,

Well, true, yesterday's prime was a surprise to all of us. I think such a strong start promises a great deal of success at the end of the season. As an introductory prime, first introducing the student's countries, hobbies, talents, we were not expecting such an INTERESTING prime. I think it is the most successful "first prime" since star academy ever started.

About the contestants, i guess it is a little bit strange to have no contestants at all from Jordan, Palestine, or Lybia ... There are 4 lebenese, 3 egyptians, 5 from Al maghreb al Araby, and the rest are all Gulf ! Too much i guess. Where are other countries representatives?

Anyway, seems this year they chose good really talented people. More or less, all the students can play music.

I think also that the lebanese choices are the best this year.
Carlos, who is 19, sang Patrik Fiori's Belle, which Hani sang last year and everyone thought it was perfect with his voice, even Patrick himself. BUT, i think that Carlos yesterday excelled in his singing, the guy really has good voice! And he seems to be interesting too.

Danny, that cute little school boy, is also VERY talented. If we compare anyone in his age, i think we'll hardly find someone with this voice. His voice reminds me so much of Joseph.

Tina and Nelly, are both two elegant young ladies who play the piano very well, but the'r voice seem not to be THAT strong, in comparison to the male-lebanese voices. But, they seem so good as personalities.

The Egyptian contestants are AVERAGE, if we compare to normal Egyptian talents. I think there are BETTER talents in Egypt than Sally, Maysoon, and Mohammed, but this does not mean they are not talented. They got it too ... or they wouldnt have been accepted in the first place.

Sally, as we saw is a very good dancer, i think Alissar will have fun this year! But i think that sally's voice is not so good. However, i do believe that it has a special tone, that only belongs to her. In other words, yeah her voice is weak, yet there's that tone in her voice which makes it attractive to hear, even if u know it's not very good. For example, Nancy Ajram's voice is known as to have a special tone that only is identified with her as a person, but musically, we cannot say that Nancy's voice is WOW, in comparison to others. (I ADORE NANCY BY THE WAY)

Maysoon, looks kind, good voice, but not very good..and that's what i mean ..Egypt really has so many good voices and that's why i'm kind of surprised of egyiptian choices this year. But im so proud of lebanese choices cuz seems they got the BEST OF THE BEST! Maysoon's performance was nice too yesterday.

Mohammed, looks talented, he plays piano and Guitar and composes songs, and his voice has a great deal of feeling. BUT i think he's afraid of camera, shy, or smth like that ....if u realize he is not very comfortable on stage, neither in the academy in his first day ...let us wish that this is normal cuz he;s still not used to that.

Maghreb students. I think that Iman from Maghreb really has the looks, the cuteness and the voice.
The 3 tunisian contestants seem worthy! The gy who's name is Emad seem to be Ahmed el shereef 2, or fady 2 ... what a charisma! and we'll see how the audience will react!!!
Marwa and Intissar, have good voices, we cannot deny.

Shazza, from Iraq, really got POWERFUL voice and i think she's going to be of the ;last 6 students in the Academy!

Sherook, i dunno i cant see any talent till now ... but she;s Hind;s relative ..so ... get my point?

Kwaiti guys seem cool ..especiallythat Guy called Ahmed.

ANYWAY ...we have to wait and see :D

i loved yesterday's prime, it was cool, but i think it would have been better if not most of the students were soooo affraid.
anyway, good luck to all of them :)
and BTW, carlo was singing belle by garou, patrick fiori & daniel lavoie, and i think that his voice was better in french than in arabic, and for the moment he's is my favorite.
as for the girls i can't make any choice, i didn't notice any REALLY gooooood voice.

i agree the prime was really great lots of talent. I think the 3 best were Marwa from Tunis, Amal from Maghreb, and Dany from Lebanon, they have the strongest voices and one of them deserves to win. As for the worst, probably Imad from Tunis I had to change the channel when he started singing. Also Intisar from Tunis, the only thing shes got going for her is the guitar because her voice just doesnt cut it, atleast not in english, maybe in arabic she'll sound better but theres still time to see. I appreciate that most of them are multitalented and can play instruments and dance, but when it comes down to it, people are not going to listen to their music because they can dance, the voice is the most important thing and I think above all their main focus should have been to pick people with really amazing voices, and then focus on other things, because this is above all, a singing competition.

I DONT REALLY think we can choose winner at this stage in the competitions...its way too early...afterall it was their first time on stage.

I agree with Nices post, these people can't sing, they are horrible with no exception. Every year they get worse and worse. But i noticed that its not only LBC that has a bad taste but also most of the people that posts here because for some reason they like those contestants, you guys must be deaf.

the MAN you are totally wrong....far out give these people a chancee..they have much better voices than many previous contestants and their talents are extraordinary...COMMON SENSE u rock! i agree with you all the way

I'm not gonna deny that some of the previous students are good but the vast majority were, actually I can't find a word to describe how bad they were....Like who can forget ANAS or Bashar El Qaisy or my personal favourite Manal Ta77an and the list goes on with people that not only lack talent but also the personality........

Well, I'd have to say that the students this year weren't bad. Of course it's nothing compared to Superstar bc those people already KNOW how to sing. The Academy is for STUDENTS to learn how to become better students.

And this year i have to say the people who stuck out were Amal, and Mohemmad al qammah. The rest are good, but I liked those 2.
