In a surprise move, a bunch of Iranian students disrupted a speech made by Iranian president Ahmadinejad at the Polytechnic University in Tehran.
They started chanting in the middle of his speech and held up a banner which read: "Fascist president, the Polytechnic is not a place for you."
Then, one of them held up his picture and burned it while another student set off a firecracker.
Oh poor students...someone's going to fail this semester!
Pro-Nejad students then silenced the protestors and that's when the president continued his speech, apparently calm about the whole thing.
It is interesting to mention that most of Iran's very few government protests and opposition come from university students! The brave young men and women have more than Star Academy on their minds!
Since Ahmadinejad came to power, he has moved to squeeze out liberal and secular university professors and numerous pro-reform newspapers were shut down.

there is a difference between stnading up for wat u believe and being a complete moron. this was one of the moron situation. in any case, they should be happy they have a president who satnds up for his country's rights. it is complete and utter discrimination that the us and france can have nuclear weapons, but iraq and n korea cant.
