Opening today in the Iranian capital, Tehran, is the first seminar aimed at studying the Holocaust, which was the mass murder of Jews by the Nazis during the second World War. It is believed that some 6 million Jews were killed by Hitler's armies from 1940-1945. However, Iran is holding a seminar about holocaust as 67 researchers from 30 countries will attend, some of them open Holocaust deniers.
As you can imagine, the Americans and Israelis were super pissed at the seminar and the American Department of Foreign Affairs called it "Another rude behavior by the Iranian government"
However, the Iranian minister of Foreign Affairs said that this seminar is not created to prove or disprove the Holocaust but to shed light on the facts of the matter from dozens of participants to voice their opinion about it.
It is well-known that the Iranian President has said many times that the Holocaust is a myth and even if it were true, the numbers are over exaggerated.
Just what are the Iranians doing with this seminar? As if they haven’t rocked the boat enough?

I presume that denial of the Holocaust represents Ahmadinejad's bid for moral authority in the Muslim word?! His madness will be rejected. I seriously doubt that Ahmadinejad will succeed. 1. Freedom of speach shall prevail regardless of the topic.
2. What evidence do YOU have that the Holocause actually occured? What the media shows you? If you believe that then you have a very long way to go.
3. If the Holocaust actually did happen then jews should welcome the debate since it will only bring more awareness to the alledged incident. The fact that they attack the seminar is indicative of something untruthful regarding the holocaust. What is there to be afraid of? Hmmm?
4. The holocaust scenario is already plauged by many untruths. Perhaps it really is a huge lie.
5. The official Red Cross reports from inside the concentration camps make no mention of mass killings. Hmmm.. again. Mozeltof
I don’t think that the actual Holocaust is the point here. Weather or not it happened is really none of my concern living in the 21st century. I’m neither a Jew nor a historian. But I think it’s shameless that one bunch of people (Iranians) should go so far as to organizing a seminar to try to debate a mass genocide of human beings! Why would anyone do this? Imagine that in 50 years, there will be a conference to debate weather or not hundreds of thousands of Iraqis were actually killed during the civil war. It’s insulting to me as an Iraq to think that someone out there denies the suffering of my people or is even trying to debate it!
Lets say (for the sake of fictional argument) that the Iran seminar proves that it never actually happened and all the Holocaust was a myth…then what????

The Iranian President has already said over and over again that it was a myth; does he have to do it in the form of conference now? This guy is going to get his entire nation into a lot of trouble!
No one in the International Community will believe a word that comes out of that seminar anyway!

i don't have the clear history of the holocoust to give my opinion about it, but if jews were so absolute and sure that it's the truth they shouldn't fear any seminars or object any studies about the subject, in this way they compulserly inforcing their opinions over usand if any refuse he'll be called anti-semite.

by trying to deny the holocaust..you are trying to deny history..if you think you have every right to deny the holocaust then one hundred years from now people will have every right to deny the fact 655000 iraqis died or 1000 died in lebanon or millions died in Bosnia etc etc
recordings,books,pictures(graphic and drawn)are the evidence of one million years of history we have, sugonit.everything from ancient Egypt to ancient Rome to early human history and world war one comes from these sources.to challenge the evidence from these sources is like challenging the whole concept of history.
