Ruby's Love and Failure

Ruby

If I know one thing about life, it’s that you should find something you're good at and stick to it! Egyptian singer Ruby isn't doing that.
While her fans (including me) are waiting for her upcoming album, she's been busy failing the bar exam to allow her to practice law for the third time in a row.

Come on Ruby, face it dear, you're no lawyer! Stick to singing and dancing, people love you for it!
And it seems that she will...
She said she wouldn't go for the 4th attempt, but her mother and sister are trying to convince her otherwise.

Poor little Ruby was in a terrible shock to read her name on the dreaded "fail list", an exam for which she had prepared well for several months turning down offer after offer to sing.
There! Are you happy now? You've given it your best shot now dry your pretty eyes and get back to the studio. The other failures in your class don't have another option.

But Ruby’s life hasn’t all been bad lately…
She’s recently declared she’s in love with a great guy, whose name she wouldn’t give, but said she wasn’t ready for a serious commitment like marriage at this time.

It's crazy doing both singing and studying law at the same time! She should just stick with one thing. Yes, they do say that life is too short, and they also say it's best to live life to the full- but, not this way. It's too much.
I myself want to be famous one day. But, I know that one of the most important things in life is making it to university and getting a degree in your hands. Thanks to Allah, I have made it to university- just started and I am enjoying. But exams are in January. Hope it goes well- I'm praying everyday.

Hello. :) Hope you all are doing well.
I don't think it's a qusetion of hobby, Shaza. I think it is more to do with the willingness and determination someone has. Studying at Uni is difficult and so is being a singer. But sometimes you need to differentiate between the two, and ask yourself what is important graduating from Uni or becoming a singer.
This is how I see it, enter university and graduate (insha'allah) then plan the rest of your life. Ruby could be a singer for the rest of her life if she wants. That door will always be open, but university on the other hand won't.

I feel so sorry for her.
I had no I idea she was so hated, but I love her so much.
What's to say she can't do it??
I mean it's not impossible...but the forth time??
    At least she tries.
If she's that dedicated then she'll eventually get it.
    Good luck Ruby.

    Sarah
