Majida Al Roomi Sings for Peace, Poverty

Majida Al Roomi

Lebanese singer Majida Al Roomi is off to Australia in a few days for a concert aimed against poverty around the world. She will be arriving there on the 9th of December, so for all her fans down under, be sure to catch a glimpse of her. She'll then be back in Beirut for another concert on the 12th called "Tent of Peace 2007" aimed at achieving peace in Lebanon in collaboration with a number of artists.

Majida recently sang in the opening ceremony of the Asian Games in Qatar a song entitled "Light the Way."

A lot of people see her as one of the most prestigious and respected singers in the Arab World as she has kept a sort of “high-class” profile for herself. Is the Majida Al Roomi type of singers all gone?

I cannot watch it!! because some relative decided to get married and hold the reception on the same night. They have been engaged for years, they could have chosen a different night but no!!! Even the fact that they set the date a year ago does not vouch for them.
