the main problem with religion today is that many people misinterpret it or alter its principles in a way which best suits their pattern of thoughts(like extremists).another problem associated with religion is stereotyping.if a group of 'religious' extremists carry out an operation the result will be the probablity of stereotyping all people with that certain religion to this small group.
the 'pros' of religion are many.the ones which just crossed my mind are that it:
1)keeps us alerted about avoiding some wicked temptations like adultery,stealing etc.
2)reinforces the idea of faith
3)increases our fear of God alone and that it decreases our fear of other substances.

no,religion is not important 4 me at all it all depends on the person her/him self.
i have lots of friends from diffrent religions.

yes religion is important to me because it makes up who i am, but in reference to other people, i dont care what their religion is and i treat them all the same because at the end of the day, we are all human beings.

Yes it is important to me, which is ISLAM religion.
Islam is indeed religion founded on truth.
It is such a fountain-head of learning that several streams of wisdom, and knowledge flow from it. Islam is a lofty beacon of light Illuminating the path of Allah.
It is such a set of principles and beliefs
that will fully satisfy every seeker of truth and reality
Know me all that Allah has made Islam, the most sublime path
for the attainment of his supreme pleasure and the highest standard
of his worship and obedience. He has favored it with noble precepts, exalted principles, undoubtedly arguments, unchallengeable supremacy and undeniable wisdom.
It is up to me to maintain the eminence and dignity granted to it by the Lord, to follow it sincerely, to do justice to its articles of faith and belief, to obey implicitly its tenets and orders, and to give it the proper place in your lives.

ahmad if u religious enough u wont say your religion is the best.
in bible we dont differ people according to their religion or race.
if this exists also in kuran, so u r not applying it very well and if it doesnt exist so its a big shame.
