It's stated! Lebanon's struggle for power is at its height today as thousands of protestors took to the streets in an attempt to bring down Prime Minister Siniora's government. The Hizbollah led rally packed the streets waving red-and-white Lebanese flags under banners demanding a government of national unity.
Thousands of soldiers, using barbed wire and metal barriers, have surrounded the complex housing the government's office.

"We want a clean government," one banner read. "Siniora out, we want a free, free government," the crowd chanted.
Hizbollah accuses Siniora’s government of not backing the party during its war with Israel last summer.

what is going on is that the government in lebanon represents only 30% of the lebanese people and has no representation of chirstian and chiaa, and this government is backed by israel and usa so they can fight syria and iran througt lebanon which cause instability in lebanon, and siniora didnt agree on making a goverment that represent all the lebanese people that's why the oppositon led by the christian michel aoun and the chiite hassan nassrallla and the christian sleyman franjieh are making this big manifastion to be independant from all other countries starting from syria to israel to usa to saudi arabia.

I personally think that Siniora is a good PM, he at least cared for Lebanon during the horible war with Israel. Lahoud is a coward that sits on his chair waiting for the US for help!
Do they want another sectarian war this time? Syria and Iran are the cause of all the tensions in Lebanon and Mr. Sinyora is a patriotic man.
Hizbullah is seeking to turn Beirut into a new Teheran, using that traitor Michel Aoun to give a Christian and multiconfessional facade for their only aim: toppling the anti-Syrian government and bring back the horrid Syrian hegemony into Lebanon, and probably establising a shiite Islamic state in the only free and open country in the Middle East.
But we, Christians, Muslims and Druze all support our great Prime Minister Siniora who through negotiations stopped the last war and thanks to his good contacts brought us great bulks of financial assistance, to repair the damages caused by Hassan's miscalculated wars for prisoners he didn't even retrieve, costing the state 15 billion dollars of damages.

first for the writer of this article, hizbollah was not the only one participating in this demonstration,, it was a mixture of all lebanese from all reliegons who want to get rid of a government that dnt even represent half of this country,,!! we are asking for a government that include everyone,,the opposition is not trying to alienate any part,, but the people in the gov want to be in control 2 serve their own intersts and that will not happen anymoree!!!!

This protest dat happened on the 1st of Decemeber didnt even have a meaning. Dodz how can u even compare wat 14 March are doing to Michel Aoun's protest. he doesn't care about anyone even lebanon, he wants to be president well i'll just tell u from now it's impossible. u want a government only for the lebanese people well we have one already who's doing a wonderful job and we dont need another one especially one controlled by Syria's allies (Michel Aoun, Hozeb Allah....)
Sanyoura's government is fair and every lebanese and religion has an important role in it, just because aoun didnt have a majority in this gov doesnt mean that the country and the government should change because he said so. He is an ignorant, pig that will do anything to be the president.

It is nice to see that the Syrian Government is allowing its citizen political freedom and the right to a democracy in LEBANON :P. By the way Aoun was so cute(not) seeing all these people, like a desperate kid hungry for toys on christmas morning.
