Yousra's trying to convince Hanan Turk to take off the Hijab. Hana announced that the famous Egyptian star repeatedly tried to convince her to take it off. She also said that Yousra went as far as speaking to her husband about it in an attempt to have him pressure her too, but it didn't work.
Yousra's idea was to inform Hanan that the Hijab will affect her acting career which is a big waste.
It is interesting to point out that Yousra has attacked actresses who suddenly wear the Hijab saying: "Who are they fooling?"
Actresses who decided to cover up said they do not want to be seen in any scene alone with another man. But Yousra said that the shooting of any scene involves dozens of people anyway.
Do you find a degree of hypocrisy in actresses who wear the Hijab and place certain constraints? Or should everyone be able to do whatever they feel good with and we should shut up and keep our noses out of it?

I dont believe that at all !! I know that Yusra was thinking of getting veiled herself. Plus she is totally aware that such "advice" to Hanan Turk to take off hijab would affect yusra herself. I dont give a damn about that ! sorry but again i dont believe ...:D
its hypocrtical definitly, but its their problem anyway, i mean you cant tell people what to do. and this story sounds kind of fabricated.
This whole hijab business is getting way out of hand. Have we solved all our major, life-threatening issues and problems and do we suddenly find ourselves without anything else to speak of other than the "to cover up or not to cover up" question? And why, pray tell, is Islam suddenly only focused on the body and hair of a woman? Do we have no other issues to address such as thousands of innocent souls dying in Palestine and Iraq, poverty in all our countries, street urchins who are being hunted down and murdered in cold blood, pollution, disease, theft, etc., etc., etc. Also, are our grandparents and parents all bad muslims, or worse yet "kafirs" because they've never worn a veil unless they were praying? I guess all the women who ever attended Om Kolthoum concerts were all kafirs. I have yet to see one veiled woman on one of these black and white recordings. All you can see is very elegant ladies in evening gowns and furs (God forgive them for those though). I have read the Quran and have yet to find a single verse that describes the punishment that will befall unveiled women. I won't get into the fact that there really is no clear text that states that the veil is a "fardh."
Finally, I don't believe that Yousra is the type to interfere in anyone's personal business, especially after the fact. While she may have her own point of view on the subject, which became public knowledge when her former best friend, Suhair El Bably decided to retire and get veiled, I'm sure she could care less if Hanan Turk covers her hair or not. It's Hanan's choice entirely and whether she's right or wrong will only be determined by time and if the big bucks stop rolling in as a result of this decision.
While I truly believe that there is nothing "haram" about acting or any of the arts, I think that if a woman makes the choice to dedicate herself to God in any way, then acting should really be the last profession she should seek. The "hijab" is in essence a form of discretion and there is absolutely nothing discrete about appearing on TV or the big screen in full make-up and flashy clothes, not to mention all the blinding bling bling.... and, oh yeah...a covered head. Pointless, isn't it??
Yusra is crazy for real. First she said that she’s going to wear hijab and then trying to tell hana to take off the hijab. that’s ridicules. I think hanah should stop acting it’s best for her. Their will be men anyway. She need to quit acting. Allow herself free and go to hajj every year. that will be gracious.
To become a Muslim is that Yusra need advise from me is stop fooling around with Muslim people and tell them what to do, quiting drinking, need respect her parents, and stop looking at men like flirting and winking at them.
how is hanan wearing the hijab since i saw an advertisment a couple of days ago about a new movie she was in..i think it was called "abaa al sighar"or in english 'the father kids'.most actros are syrian so anyway..she was uncovered in the film and she wore revealing clothes..i dont get it?
personally i really like yousra. i dont really think that she is against the idea of hijab i just think she doesnt like the idea of actresses who have built their careers like hanan turk to just completely withdraw. And the filming of a scene includes doezens of people so its not like hanan is alone with a man. I really did know that yousra wanted to wear the hijab. Sometimes when actresses wear the hijab and then take it off or when they are even contemplating wearing its prob. due to an event that happened in their lives, like death of a loved one, an accident, going to make hajj. But i think once they have worn it they shouldnt take it off because its not a game!
actually marwa, that movie was filmed quite some time ago altho it is just now being released. i admit that i was surprised by her decision to wear the veil, but i am happy for her. as for yusra, i doubt she needed to advise hannan about the veil. personally i have no respect for yusra, whose morals are something i feel r to be suspected judging by her latest film.
it is good that hanan turk wore the scarf, because i can't stand her , she is one hell of an annoying actress, or that will be written in past tenese, YES!!!
yala stay home hanan turk, not every role is for you.........and it should be the same for 3adil imam, yala wear the scarf, and stay at home....hehehe
don't believe everything you hear or read! youssra is not that stupid that she would advise hanan turk.. I think hanan turk just wants attention... and knows how to play the media game. As for youssra veiling, it's her choice and i wish people would realize its A PERSONAL CHOICE and that no one should judge anyone for wearing it or not wanting to wear it etc, its the woman's choice and it's a decision between her and God and no one should interfere and people should stop politicizing this situation.
Emme I agree with you 100%....if more people think like that akid the arab world would be in a much better position (dont get me wrong im not against people being religious but against them forcing their beliefs on others).
i think yousra is stupid look people she cant go around to tell people what to wear or not its non of her business
Hanan is a total hypocrite and she's wearing the veil just to draw attention to her so-called pious character. She looked like a clown on Hala Sarhan's show dressed in bright colors and wearing tons of cosmetics and dances and sings like an idiot, in a few months she's going to remove her veil so that the producers would work again with her. The old days were better when people had morals and self respect for each other and didn't stick their noses into somebody else's business.
YA...well i dont think its hypocritical to ask not be in a scene with a guy(like a love scene) if the actresses is wearing hijab because that is sending a wrong msg...even if there alotta ppl shooting the film...im proud of actresses who wear the hijab and stay in the movie business because that islam wont stop them from expressing themselves even its by acting....way to go hanan!!!
i heard that yousra herself was perparing to wear a hijab..for her to suddenly go around and tell people not to wear a hijab is completley untrue in my eyes..reporters today just need a juicy story to gain readers so they make up random lies!!!!
Human beings will be judged by their good deeds mostly.Wearing modestly and being a good person what counts.Do women who wear the veil honestly think that the veil will give them extra credit in God's eyes?I don't think so,God goes to our hearts directly.Wearing a veil does not make a woman perfect, she'll still struggle with human emotions;the good, the bad,and the ugly.
well hana from when u have stareted to cover up i hate u its better to guit ur job
well hana you better take it off What do u wanna prove by covering ur hair but after all i dont like u anymore i think u arenot as pretty as always after hijab what kind of off it is
Yousra you do the best think i agree it is better to try ur best to take her scarf off its better

first well done yusra trying to convince hanan to take the hijjab offf, and shame on u hanan starting telling everybody what yusra told u. because i dont think we need to see actress with hijab on tv specially if they will gona keep wearing it all time. no thanks. second i disagree with the jerk word he got all the right to ask and she got the same right to refuse, closed case. third yusra was right attacking these hijjab turning around actress(who the hell are they fooling around.but if u want to go ahead but dont punish us ( the audience).
