R.I.P. Pierre. At least he recieved the dignity and respect in death that he deserves. We cannot say the same for the Lebanese that died in the recent war, for the Iraqis and Palestinians that are dying left and right. LBC is the one to blame. I always wondered why don't they make a local version. It would still attract the same amount of viewers, less the insults if their contestant loses to a Lebanese.
But money and greed know no limits.
Pierre died in a sordid way, and the reactions on both camps are far from calm and peaceful.
I am fearing the worst for our small and beloved country.

Hopefully the season will go as planned in peace, and hopefully lebanon will go back to a peace fully stage and remain in that way never for anymore assisinations and not another civil war because those souls were innocent souls lost by the orders of the sly Israel and America.

To the people who constantly feel the need to remind everybody that Lebanon is suffering...We all know that stop underestimating peoples knowledge. There r many nations suffering and people are dying all over the globe in their dozens every millisecond of every second of every hour- pre-Lebanon and pre-Iraq in fact.

I’m curious as to why the starvation & rates of orphanage in Africa or the very recent devastation of the forgotten Afghanistan don’t register in the minds of Arabs and go by virtually unmentioned as if our (Arabic speaking nations) dilemmas are the only ones we should consider of any real value…Shish Kebabs. Child slave labour, child prostitution, Aids (which is spreading in the Arab world) and worse still children born with aids- strike a cord with anyone? Unfortunately it seems suffering can only be classified as within the borders of a certain region. Hell I’d save a hungry child over a full bellied minister any day of the week- at least one who goes into Politics knows what he/ she is in for! Don’t take it personally but no ones life is worth more than another’s no matter what the position or the nation or the religion or anything- it’s just about the choices one makes as an adult that make him/her liable. If we had dwelled on Africa as half as much as we have on Iraq and Leb then maybe we would have gotten more in touch with the rest of humanity. I can not believeeeeee Sudan and I put emphasis on its status as an Arab country, but it's one that has more suffering than Iraq, Leb and Pal put together and NO BODY CARES, it’s an absolute disgrace how little Sudan is mentioned and how much people want favouritism for their own causes with disregard to others. REMEMBER SUDAN PEOPLE!!! Sudan, Sudan, Sudan- There are people in Sudan who have to wait months for things as simple as rice. Poor Sudan!

The problem is with that minister dying, it could lead to a lot of beloved people of many Lebanese dying. His death though many people would dismiss is very significant. We all know that life will always go on, deaths and births are part of life, the suffering will not end. That is something I preached about during the recent war, that life will go on even though some Lebanese may see it as ending.
I am not a big fan of Starac, they bug me but that is not the reason I am against it. I do not believe broadcasting it at this particular time is very wise for the LBC. We all know many people associate it with the Lebanese Forces though it claims it is not, and many people in the South are still suffering. Suffering, resentment and the blind following of their leaders can lead to foolish people(of all sides) to commit rash acts. elkill 3am yeshid we ma7ada 3am ye2bal yitnasal.

I am not saying that Starac will cause civil war to erupt but hell some consideration is required.

I would love to add though, that not much tourism will happen soon in lebanon unfortunately not with the recent destruction and the political situation. However Haifa is enough of a tourism attraction, though the wrong kind.

I've never been a fan of LBC, but they are not a 24/7 news channel. They don't get sponsorship exclusively from Leb, and by it's image I would hazard a guess that their main target audience or audience neha2y is a young one. Should they stop entertaining? Isn't that classified on some level as giving in?

I find it highly inappropriate that Leb singers r continuing to sing and shake their bits and bobs around- they are not an organization but they mention Lebs strife and then go off and sing a love song wearing next 2 nothing, so maybe we should be critical of them too- but how can u when they will argue that it's lo2mit 3esh'hom? Same as LBC if they entertain they get more money which means employees get paid. I can't really get my head around what else they are meant 2 do! LBC is basically a provider of jobs for many Lebs.

I guess on some level it is wrong...I personally think it's a show that is too controversial a concept- too much sexual undertones. But hell so is the news- old man sitting next 2 young female news broadcaster- won't even get into that. But even if lbc were to divert attention off entertainment it's very likely they'll present their news in a bias format. So no ones happy! In fact I've been told that it is bias and therefore I think Star ac is a very small part of lbc's agenda. Good job Israel didn't bomb it like US did to the Iraqi channel. Maybe if Lbc wasn't so useless they'd have targetted it, who knows...It's not such a political threat I gather.

I did like the LBC before, I kind of grew up with it but do not anymore. I spoke to mum in Lebanon and they say everything seems normal on the surface but there are some skirmiches that occur most nights between Amal party members and others. The situation does not seem promising but it never is anymore in Lebanon. I want MUMMY and DADDY back. I suppose Starac is a kind of diversion and a money making machine but still think December is too soon, but they probably do not want to allow the people too much of a period to actually grow a brain regarding these programs(no offense to all the fans).

I am being a hypocrate about this issue, because if this was posted last week I would been saying that such programs, however trivial are a great refuge where people escape their daily misery.Given that hypocracy is built in the human operating system,this week I am imposing my own opinions. I know tolerance and moderation are wonderful traits to have, but I seem to forsake them sometimes depending on my moods. I never seem to possess much humility, though I would love to be more self-effacing.
By the way I was reading about this male teacher in Australia being fired for assaulting his female principal and you know what his excuse was? something along the lines that she was a feminist, and there is a conspiracy that was part of a global attempt by women like Hilary clinton and such to take over the world...an underground feminist organisation who is practicing brainwashing...LOL, that would be nice it it were true.
