May Hariri Participates in Aids Campaign

May Hariri

Famous Lebanese singer May Hariri will be participating in an Anti-Aids campaign organized by UNICEF in association with Coca-Cola in the Egyptian Opera House.
May will make the speech on behalf of the Arabic singers association and will then sing a few songs for children invited by UNICEF. It is interesting to note that UNICEF chose her because of her increasing fame in Egypt lately, probably due to the fact that she sings a lot of her songs using the Egyptian dialect.

Also, Egyptian actress Laila Alawi will make her own speech on behalf of the Arabic actresses association. It is interesting to see our societies being slightly more open in addressing the Aids issue although the organizer is a UN body and the sponsor is an American soda company.

After the charity, May will return to Beirut to continue with her work and prepare for the release of her new album “Habibi Inta” (You Are My Darling).
