Dina Busted for Dancing!

Dina dancing

If you’re about to attend the premier of your new movie in Cairo, make sure not to be too happy as to dance in public because you can get thrown in jail.
Don’t take my word for it…
The famous Egyptian dancer and entertainer Dina is to be investigated as she was seen dancing in front of METRO cinema at the opening of her new movie “Alai il Tarab bil Talata”

The party-pooper Ashraf Zaki said that Dina’s actions were humiliating for the Egyptian artist who we defend.

Zaki said that if indicted, Dina will be barred from the union for Egyptian Artists.
I guess that she refused to give him a private dance, that’s probably why he was so pissed :)

The investigation shouldn’t take more than 2 weeks, then we will know what will become of her.

***People who want to support Dina (not just sit back in dismay, yet again) should send mail/email/faxes to the relevant authorities (the Egyptian Actor’s Association, and others who may have influence) expressing strong support for her, and her innocence of these "charges."

Assuming that Dina did dance at the theater, or even sing.... HOW, with so much pain and suffering in the world, can anyone condemn expressions of happiness and joy, whether by dancing or singing?!? Dina is someone who brings happiness to people, or else they would not flock to see her movies. The people coming to the opening of her movie can be assumed to know that she is a dancer, and therefore not be offended to see her dancing.

What actor expects to not feel excitement and happiness at attending the opening of his/her film, and greeting his fans? May the wise have mercy upon a person for being happy.

[Also, letter writing is the basis of Amnesty International's global successes--even in the most unlikely of places. The more the better--every individual's action is significant.

I think she should wear a veil so she can dance all day./ nobody will not notice her or banned her, if she love dying to dance. That’s a good idea./ heh

i think he has a right. i mean whats the point? if ur happy show it in another way other than dancing! we already want to get rid of all this fassad going on. i dont like it when arabs start to copy the english. i live in the uk so its actually quite surprising to me when i read about arabs dancing in public.
if we want to be respected, its people like dina that we dont need. Just look at the Americans, they arent repsected any more coz of people like that. Hate to be a party pooper but its tru.

may allah protect her,it is a shame to see an arab girl dancing like that infront of pple.i just dont like all belly dancer from my opinion i think they just have no value(LACK OF SELF-RESPECT).not only dancers even singers I dont think keeping themselves half naked anyone will get attracted to their songs but what the gain is bad reputation and undervalue themseleves, their family and their country.
there r some artist who do sing very well and also make respectful video and still they r admired by so many pple all over the world
but according to my research i think those artist who keep themselves half naked have no VOICE AND AND THEY DONT DESERVE THAT TITLE OF BEING CALLED ARTIST.

sorry, but this is so stupied she was just having fun, it's not wrong to dance everyone does it and it thought egypt promots freedom? and what's wrong with dancing "honest", in my opinion dancing relaxes the body and mind it's a good thing not a bad thing.

no its normal...i dont get it with you people always dragging relegion or culture into this.its normal, everyone dances at every good occasion like a succesful thing you've done or a wedding. she was happy and people express hapiness in different ways.lets be honest now its not like she murdered someone.stop being self-centered because you people cant bear to see others live their lives in a different way than you do.i dont care if its about relegion or culture or anything.its her own life and shes fee to do with it whatever she wants without being prejudiced.just because we live our lives in a conservaive or liberal way this does not mean people should live it the same way.there are certain extremes in life, like a person being gay or murderer which deserves conflict and argumentative discussions however...this..is the most ridiculous issue ive heard about. it doesnt even deserve an argument.its stupid.we only live once so lets make the best of it by enjoying life the way we want to without being too 'into' it if you get what i mean.
