150 Kidnapped in Baghdad

Gunmen wearing Police uniforms raided and kidnapped 150 people, Sunnis and Shiites at gunpoint the Higher Education Ministry in Baghdad

Women employees were separated from the men and locked in a room after having their mobile phones confiscated by the gunmen.

Iraq's higher education minister, Abed Theyab, ordered universities to be closed until security improvements were made.

"I am not ready to see more professors get killed," he said.

This seems to be another attempt at Iraq's educational and scientific institutions. Some reports say that over 1000 professors have been assassinated since the beginning of the war. Iraq was once regarded as having one of the highest educational systems in the Middle East and Arab World.

What else is new?? I'm sorry to say that this happens everyday in Iraq. On some days, more people are kidnapped and are decapitated even. This is the bitter truth though some refuse to accept it. All we have is prayer and inshallah they will be answered. Long live Iraq ;).

These criminal arabs do not need better than a dictator to curb down their bloodsucking tendencies.

you know for the first time in my life,i think lebchris2yahoo is correct.im a liberal person and ive lived all my life in Newzealand raised with a syrian background.now honestly,i look down on all extremists but to these particular people in iraq who cannot seem to make a compromise i think the best solution is a dictator to shut them up.
