Nokia and Rotana

Nokia and Rotana

Got a Nokia 3250 and love Arabic music? Then you're in for a treat.
Nokia and Rotana, the world's largest distributor of Arabic music, have signed a deal where Nokia handsets such as N91 and 3250 will come embedded with a program called the Rotana-Player which will enhance consumers' mobile music experience.

The application gives the user access to the latest and most popular tones, themes, wallpapers and games from the world of Arabic music and entertainment, making Rotana-Player the unique answer to Arabic music lovers.

“This announcement is actually the first step in our collaboration and partnership with Nokia and we look forward to future initiatives to bring the latest and best of Arabic music entertainment to both Nokia and Rotana audience,” said Nezar Nagro, Rotana's General Manager.

Sony Ericson, Samsung and others all have done well in the Arabic market, and even LG to some extent, but non as successful as Nokia. This new deal will make an already successful brand even more successful.
