The Most Expensive Piece of Art in History

jackson pollock

How much do you think does the most expensive piece of art costs? No matter how high you go with the millions, I don't think you would say $140 Million !!!
Last week, just last week, a Jackson Pollock painting was sold for that number!
Well, at least it isn't small in size; the painting, which was done on fiberboard, measures 4-feet 8-inches in height. It is entitled "No. 5, 1948".

The buyer is Mexican financier David Martinez, who bought a two-floor apartment in the south building of the Time Warner Center for $54.7 million recently.
I really wanted to write more about this, but I lost all the words! ... I don't even have words anymore! Aaaa!!!

Omg, he paid that much money, when i cant give my lil cousin a few cheap paints and probably get something nicer than that. My God, what a waste, its just layers of strewn paint. He wastes 140 mil on THAT when theres hungry children in the world...wtf.

    Much luff
