Gabrielle Bou Rached, who was elected as Lebanon's beauty queen 2005 is preparing to tour schools in Southern Lebanon just as she promised when she won the beauty contest.
Her tour is aimed at many ideals such as encouraging children to read more.
Gabrielle didn't win the title this year, one of the reasons being the Israeli war. But she still continues her charity work in many aspects, most recently being an Iftar banquet for children under the name "Accept Each Other" aiming at bringing children together between the ages of 6-15.
The former Miss Lebanon said that she hopes this will bring the kids to get to know one another regardless of the backgrounds or beliefs as they came from all parts of the country.
"I hope this sends a message to officials as their differences result in more wars which means more orphans" she said.
