I know at the time of the furore surrounding the cartoons, The Daily Telegraph one of the major Australian newspapers ran such a poll but decided not to publish them.
I have not heard anything about it lately, all the news are about Sheikh Taj Eldin ElHilaly and his comments about women. Comments that you hear in the Middle East all the time and I even heard them unfortunately from my own grandmother.Women's groups are furious.

I do hope that it does not happen. Unfortunately it was reported that depression rates are highest in the Muslim community here in Australia.

I hope they will not do it, because it will cause big, big problems with the Muslims!
If they do so, then probably some muslims will do something very bad. And then the Australians (some of them, I do not generalise) will say that mulsims are terrorist. Some people can not stop insulting islam and its prophet. They just want to cause problems and create a war between religions and cultures!!!

islam is the most largest religion in the world wich ppl r converted to now,so i think this is the best answer to those who r insulting islam,i think they made a free propaganda for islam coz most of the ppl wonder why all this huge attack on muslims then start to read and discover that what is the real islam and who is prophet Mohamed "sala ALLAH 3alay wa salam"

inshallah they dont publish it, coz then in australia and where i live and where i was born they'll be a very big big problem. and if they do thats just to piss off the muslims and to make lots of problems. they dont even have respect for there on religion by making fun of prophet isa(jesus) so do you really think they care if they make fun of prophet muhammad(s.a.w)
They beter not! or else they'll have to face the consequences!

im an Australian and i would be devastated if that happened.i dont believe in the freedom of speech and independant media if all its going to do is attack people on the basis of their relegion, gender, coulour and ethnicity.i still havent heard this in the news and i hope i dont.

This shameless publicity stunt will bring nothing but problems to this newspaper and Australia. Freedom of speech should have limits.
