The act of plastic surgery is reputed throughout the world and perhaps has found its place for acceptance, particularly with the upcoming generations who hold fame and celebrity in high regards. Surgery in its many techniques and procedures has certainly become a familiar practise.
There are now almost one million surgeries for plastic or cosmetic surgery across the Arab world. The only factor that exists in relation to what would be regarded as wrong is the question and attitudes of beautifying men beyond ironing hair, perfecting teeth, plucking eyebrows and dress sense. It’s possible to say that we are just beginning to be familiar with the new wave of men who style themselves using the trendy and self conscious ‘metrosexual’ criteria.
Many Arab men heap praise on physical enhancement for women, and many Arab girls now express that to improve aesthetics is harmless and is merely an act to boost self confidence and perfect on ones natural form. Therefore attitudes have changed but only concerning attitudes towards women.
In such a vain world where equal rights is being fought restlessly and mercilessly, what would your reaction be if men took the same direction of women in being the new mass consumers of plastic surgery in the Arab world as we know it?
Are you someone who supports physical enhancement for women, but not for men? If so why? Is it wrong for a man to look for his own physical beauty in such a judgemental society (focus mainly on the Arab world)?

im against the whole idea be it for women or men. be greatful for the way u are, be greatful that ur in good shape, form and health. most people do it because theyr insecure about themselves. i think the only time when it should be used is after trauma or accidents.
Well I think this meterosexual stuff is kind of annoying, bala metersexual bala batikh. As long as the man has one shower a day, it is fine and dandy by me.
where are the real men, the ones that drag you by the hair to their caves. Saying that if it happened to me, a man would lose a very very very treasured body part.
No I do not think men should have plastic surgery as long as it is medically necessary.
The guy I am seeing would probably have it if he did not think he is perfect, he is not but I tell him that he is. He spends hours changing his clothes before leaving. We went shopping on the weekend and it took him three hours. THREE to find a pair of jeans, goodness they all look the same to me. He does not like the regular cut or the loose cut or or or. I felt like singing..

Ah we have to go again on sunday to buy something for his mother(perfect mother who is turning 40 only, yeah right add a few more years, apparently she had him very very young).

Everybody should accept the way he or she is.
We are all going to die one day, so why do people do plastic suregery, if one day they will be eaten by worms and insect in their graves. The only thing people will have is their soul!!

no..not Arab men, they are hansome enough. i mean seriously the Arabs are the most gorgous,beautiful and hansome (men and women) so plz don't change ur look guys!! natural is better. i mean i personally wanted it cause all the arab singers have it..but in reality no way.. appart from my nose which i would prefer to have thiner nostrils :)
people should only have plastic surgeries in the case of accidents and if they look REALLY horrible.but if someone wants to have plastic surgery these days they do it because they want to look perfect because looking normal isnt good enough for them.

Unless the man looks like "The Elephant Man", no need for plastic surgery. Saying that "The Elephant Man" did possess a beautiful personality.
