It's a batter mix made with Coca-Cola syrup, a drizzle of strawberry syrup, and some strawberries!
Gonzales sold 35,000 of them at the State Fair of Texas, each for $4.5!
It’s either Texans have really bad taste or the fried Coke is actually tasty!
"It tastes great," said Sue Gooding, a spokeswoman for the State Fair of Texas where Gonzales' fried Coke made its debut this fall. "It was a huge success."
I guess soda pop drinks have a new competitor!
Move over Pepsi, here comes the fried Coke!

i live in TX.. and i went to the fair 2 weeks ago... i tried the fried coke and it was realllllly good!!!!!!!! it was a huge hit... everyone wanted to try it... it was crazy
Well they've been frying Mars Bars in Scotland 4 God knows how long (& everything else possible) so nothing new. I say lets fry an elephant! Nah I'm a fan of the animal Kingdom. Can u imagine frying an Elephant though...it would become like a Hindi shrine. Once on TV a programme about a Hindi festival was broadcast & there was a clip of an elderly man with his cow decorated 2 the max as though it was about 2 hit town. It was coated in pinks, blues & golds & God knows what. The cow suddenly began 2 urinate (as u do!) so the man pulls out a bowl & quickly dives to catch the urine in it. It was a big splash too so u'd be forgiven to think that maybe he's gonna water a special plant, maybe he's gonna put it over a wound (Jellyfish style). Instead he holds the bowl against his lips and humm ya gamal slurps it all up. Yummy! I did not understand why the bowl, he could've just done it fountain style. Anyway back to fried coke...
