The Supreme Court in the US state of New Jersey unanimously ruled that committed gay and lesbian couples deserve the same rights as married couples but by a 4-3 majority the court stopped short of ordering the New Jersey Legislature to allow same-sex marriage.
So, this means that gay couples have all the rights as married couples do apart from the fact that they are not legally "married".
"Those who would view today's Supreme Court ruling as a victory for same-sex couples are dead wrong," said Steven Goldstein, chair of Garden State Equality. "So help us God, New Jersey's LGBT community and our millions of straight allies will settle for nothing less than 100 percent marriage equality."
So they got their rights, what’s the problem?

The basis of marriage is to create a strong foundation for a possible second generation & third etc. It's not a competition & it’s not a certificate 2 prove a victory & it certainly isn’t 2 allow a relationship 2 thrive in passion or 2 prevent a lonely death. Having equal rights is the argument everyone seems to be latching on 2 apparently; equal rights & no sense. Equal Rights 4 no apparent reason except to feel as accepted as possible & hide the blatantly unnatural & disturbing unities driven by sex. Anyone, be they h*mosexual or natural who put’s sex & sexuality at the very core of their existence is of no use 2 society & a mere distraction from those who are troubled with real dilemmas across the world. A h*mosexual is free to do as he or she pleases but to constantly raise issues of wanting attention and wanting to feel normal (when they simply aren’t & will never be) is a waste of time, absurd, waste of money. I have met several gays & yes they r funny & they seem 2 accept everyone & everything so I am not giving them devil-like status, however everything on this planet has a reason, everything has a common sense & a logic, not everything has a solution & not everyone will find themselves in Earth. However the fact that they crave so much need & attention & want in being accepted by everyone says a lot- they can not justify their act or ‘chosen’ nature, therefore they use the fun, nice, colourful, I’m not racist, I’m not sexist approach in order 2 justify it. I used 2 hate when they would use the excuse of gay & black. La2eno black is something I can see with my eyes, it’s not hidden…it’s embedded within someone’s skin by the grace of God. And it’s been around since the beginning of time; part of the human race. Inama if u tell all the gays to stop plucking, waxing and 2 stop being loud, hyperactive & dressing in their distinctive fashion (superficial qualities) then u will never tell what they are. They have no right to use the ‘black’ or racial justification.
There are actually many gay males who disapprove of being permitted a marriage type bond, so at least some of them realise the values of marriage.
Babies are not born gay or straight so I wish that argument would be buried too. Who can even remember anything about being in the womb let alone being a baby?!
