well i neva watched it...but i saw nour il sherif...OMD it made me cry soooo much!i love zena and her character..it was sooo sad wen she died :( and also i loooooved the one wid the syrian actor..sumink shayateen...ooh that was sooo good...i fell in love with him :D even tho alot of egyptians were annoyed cuz a syrian actor was playin the main role of an egyptian mosalsal..i c where der comin from..but the syrian guy did the role very well...WOOP..

I watched Bab Al Hara & I really liked it. Regardless of the end (which I do agree with you that it was somehow disappointing), I really liked the characters, the actors.
Indeed, This Ramadan, I've become a fan of Syrian Drama & already have my favourite actors like Bassam Koussa, Koussay Khouly, Karees Bachar, Amal Arafa..They are so talented.

Actually bab al hara wasn't a bad ending, because at the end they said that their will be a bab al hara 2. They wouldn't leave it a cliff hanger if they didn't want you to watch the next bab al hara... you need to think!! The director is very good and knows how to play the audience.
And egyptians are taking syrians because they are very good at acting. their is no difference, as long as the mosalsal is good.

i was also disappointed with the ending but i noticed at the end when they ran the names it said to be continued as part 2 of bab el7ara so basically they are making us wait , but for how long ??!! hopefully not till next ramadan hahahha i cant wait that long :/ the likes of LOST and Prison Break for those living overseas.

Did I watch it!!! It was the only episode I watched all Ramadan. I have to say it's storyline, dialogue, and script are fantastic but the ending I did not like at all. So what happens now? Is 96aif going to be caught? What about poor Suad? Is Lutfia going to keep acting like the Queen of Sheba? Is Firyal ever going to quit? It's probably going to continue into a sequel for next year "Bab el Hara 2." I had always known that it was 96aif. I love the actor's talent but I hate 96aif!!!..lol.... ;)

it wasn't poor ending, it give more willness to watch the 2th part. i really feel it was very good in introducing the new coming 2th part which i think will hold different stories than the first part, and will gives more insight of the society changes at this peroid of syrian history.

I just watched the last episode again and waited till the end ... I only noticed the note about the second part of Bab Al Hara today ...

Glad to know that there will be a 2nd part, that explains why the director made such ending ...

ACTUALLY, THE ENDING WAS GREAT, CUZ NOW THEY HAVE ANOTHER PART FOR THE SEIRES, THEY LEFT THE ENDING OPENED, HE DIVORCED HIS WIFE, BUT THEY DIDN'T SHOW THE PART WHERE HIS SON HITS HIS WIFE. all of that happened cuz of he's wife's mom.

And they'r going to have to find out who the spy is (s6eef).

This Ramadan I only watched Al Andaleeb starring Shadi Shamel and it was so amusing to watch though Midhat Al Adl didn't mention anything about the secret marriage between Abdel Halim Hafez and Soad Hosni, and most of all it was a biography of Jamal Abdel Nasser as if he's the main character not Abdel Halim. Today was the last episode and it was very sad. :(

I ususually am not fond of syrian shows, untill i spend Ramadan with my sister who is obssessed with their shows, and then i fell into the lives of syrians, and subhanallah they are great actors,if feelts realy real.i loved Bassam Kousa, and i coudn't belive it was him when i saw an interveiw of him, it shows that this actor can "act" anything, which is what most actors should do.hehe! i didn' see the last episode yet, inshallah tonight i will, but wait who is saod agian??? is that the mother of the son who got marreid to the daugher of the mother who always fights with the sons mother??? anyway i loveed the muselsel, and i wished i lived there at that time, what respect!!!!!! thanx for the greatt showww...i can't wwait for a bab al hara 2...inshalah hay koon ikateer imnehha zay hay el bab el hara

nope i didnt watch it, instead i watched another syrian mosalsal called 'asyad al mal.' its not finished yet though. its such a good drama, excellent story line and actors. syrians definitly have the best dramas by far!

I think the ending of bab el hara was so shocking...that abo sameer died and the leader of the hara found out who it was.
..Stef just shocked me and my family cuz we were used 2 seeing him blind and all of the sudden he opened his eyes ....The guy bassam al mala is really good @ making musalsalat like this and he chooses really good characters thank god he is making part 2 i cant wait 2 see it i just hope its going 2 be on soon.. he should keep doing jobs like this i have a lot 2 say but i think its 2 much oh yea and 1 thing he always put the characters @ parts they are good at....For ex: Reyad the parts that he have are really good he is a great actor @ stuff like this

We grew up watching Egyptian Drama & were big fans of it (My favourite is Raafat Al Haggen) but by now you have to admit that Syrian Drama has become the best by far, in terms of stories, strong acting...

This Ramadan, I've become addicted to Syrian Dram & I've watched 5 Syrian series & I liked all of them, "Bab Al Hara"(the best), "Asyad Al Mal", "Ghizlen Fee Ghabet Edhieb", "Ahkad Khafia", "Khaled Ebn AlWaleed"

Masrya, I understand that you are defending Egyptian Drama out of love to you country but try to be more objective in your judgments. Give yourself the chance to watch one the afore-mentioned series & you will see why Syrian Drama has become the favourite of Arab Spectators.

syrian bab al harra was awesome i loved it . bassam al qoussa was awesome actor and all the actors in it were amazing syrian drama is really good . i also like marria 2006 it was really funny. i wish they get bassam al quossa again he was cool ...and this year egyptian drama sucked its always the same stuff boring ...

im really happy 2 c that everyone of u is watching bab al 7ara..it's sucha gr8 series..and 2 b honest i really love syrian series ..cz they really do make lots of sense and wn u watch them u think they're not acting..that's the gr8 thing bout the actors and actressess is that they dun show u they're acting..they show u as if they're living the scene wr as if there's no cams or lights being put 4 them 2 act a scene...even thu i'm palestinian..i definitly say syrian series are really making us the arabs proud becz they really do have a point in their series..there's a story behind every series they make...

OMG!!!! Bab Al Hara was the best arabic series I have ever watched!Since i am Syrian, I really enjoyed it and the different slang words they used in it. But I can NOT wait for part 2!!!! I was soooooo shocked that Abu Isaum divorced Souad! I mean, that was not fair at all! It was all Firyal Khnoum's fault! Oh well, can't wait till part 2!

I believe Bab el Hara was one of the breathtaking series in the arabic drama, and I absolutely agree with the director in every single action, He knows properly how to make us want more, and he simply chose that ending coz there will be another second part of this series. I hope they will succeed in the second one, and lets not just criticise, lets rather encourage our actors and directors to bring us more and more of positivity. I would love to see the son of Ida3chary completely a different character in the second part. I would say in the end that its Human to have imperfections, In addition, the Arab viewer will never be happy.......thank you all for being interested in such a great series.
