Quran is Virgin’s Biggest Sale!

Virgin Mega Store

Modanna? Michael Jackson? Britney Spears?
No…No…No…
Neither artist made the highest selling mark at Dubai’s Virgin Mega Stores.
An unlikely highest selling item however, was a copy of the Holy Quran on CD for the second consecutive week.
Read by the voices of Al Ajmi and Al Sadees from Saudi Arabia, the CD contains the entire 30 parts of the holy book. The intriguing thing was that the customers were between the ages of 18-30 years old. A young market during this holy month. This could be explained by the fact that many youths feel the need to read the Holy Quran during this period especially as Ramadan draws to a close.

The good thing about it being on CD makes it easier to listen to, in the car, on the pc or on the disk man. I suppose the Quran in MP3 format would be a huge success too, unless someone’s already done that.
