You must have done it before, or at least your mum has.
Re-gifting is a regular thing in the Middle East but according to a recent survey of 1,505 American adults, conducted by market research firm Harris Interactive, found that over half of the respondents admitted to "re-gifting" with passing on gifts becoming a far more common and acceptable phenomenon.
I think I first saw it on the hit comedy series ‘Seinfeld’! But I never thought it was this common.
To be honest, my mum does it a lot, and yes, what are you supposed to do with an ugly picture frame you wouldn't be caught dead with in your house...?
What are you supposed to do with a bunch of glasses and cups that look like they were made in China in 1949?
...give it to someone who might like it of course...!!!
But you know where the problem is...
If you end up giving back the same gift to the same person!
Then you’re caught!
Come on! Admit it, who has done it!
lol obviously...everyone does it, what else would we do the unwanted gifts?
noooooooooo,i never do such a thing even if it is ugly frame or even a white paper, the gift doesnt mean anything with its price or style or as a material, but what is more imp is the person who present it to me,even if he is not so important,at least he try to please me by his gift,so he dont deserve that at all, some ppl may present very expensive gifts and very useful to the person and they r keeping negative feelings toward u,anyway if i want something i can buy it for myself not waitting for a gift, and if i dont care to buy something for a certain person so its better to shut my mouse and hide untill hthe time pass but not searching for anything that i ve been gifted by some1:)
my parents once received a dinner set which they didnt like, so they gave it to their best friend when she moved houses. she then gave it to a close friend of my parents who didnt like it either and passed it back to us on an occasion! it had been passed arond and eventualy came back to us!
nasebkom ya reem. Just sell it on ebay...bound to be an american who likes it. I don't like getting gifts from ayoha 7ad. I think its better 2 gift people with money, money, money, must be funny, in a rich mans world. Mind u, i won't be giving anyone money anytime soon. My friend used 2 invite me to her place & force feed me and we'd have a cosy chat like 2 old grannies with a cuppa tea. My idea of heaven frankly...anything with tea.
so wt ur saying re gifting is aout givig things tat u think are ugly so wen u gift then 2 other ppl u think they dont have taste and theyre gonna like it no theyre gonna hate it and they will think tat u have absolutley no taste...
