Yes, it’s that time of year again when the eyes of the world are fixed on the TVs to see who will be the most beautiful woman in the world… oh yeah yeah…beauty is in the eye of the beholder blah, blah, blah…but check out this gorgeous lady who won! An international judging panel and global public vote picked six continental Miss Worlds and of course, only one would win.
Czech Republic came through to win the coveted crown as Miss World 2006, in a glittering and star-studded ceremony at the Sala Kongresowa, Warsaw, Poland.
Tatana Kucharova, an 18-year-old student from the Czech Republic was crowned Miss World out of 104 beautiful and talented contestants, with Romania named first runner-up, followed by Australia as second runner-up.
In a last minute twist, the judges were unable to decide between contestants in the Asia Pacific continental group, so three girls from that group went through to the final 17 semi finalists, not the proposed 16.
Can you believe that the Miss World final is the World’s largest live annual TV event with global viewing figures topping two billion across nearly 200 countries?? Wow!
And with winners like the stunning Tatana, it’s no wonder!
I just hope she can cook :)

omg she is noway the most beautiful out of them. annabella (miss lebanon), miss cyprus, miss turkey and miss ecuador were all MUCH more beautiful. oh well, judges must have been blind.

She has the height but she looks ordinary. I can't understand why the judges choose the candidate that looks ordinary, they don't go for the pretty ones.
Well looking at her in that dress in the picture, it seems that she could have had more "brains" than the other contestants. Well she is gorgeous, no denying it. I did think Annabella had the right beauty package but she rambled on a bit too much. Anyway she proved that she is the real Miss Lebanon not Gabriella.
I am very proud of her.She is gorgeous and very kind.I think she will be a good representative of our country.
annabella was definitly one of the top 10. this polish woman is to say the least...ugly! look at that cheesy smile. shes fat too. she has such typical features, nothing different of the waitresses in the cafe down the road. blonde n dull n boring. hard luck to annabella who was deserved the title the most.

Bonsoir tt le monde.There was a Moroccan girl in the final of Miss Italia..She is 22 years old,Miss Wella Romagna,she is a student in the 3 year faculty of economy at Rimini.Their family is from Casablanca..I loved her in the show..she was very pretty.She speaks french,arabic,english and italian and She was the favorite for Italians.
