You call Saddam a good ruler when he flushed so many Kurds with chemical weapons, when he air raided the shiites in Dujail, when he invaded neighboring countries bringing down Iraq's economy and ruining it's physical landscape. I will not comment on Saddam and whether he was better for Iraq(I_raq as Bush says) or not, however all leaders are sociopathic with the typical symptoms... Liars, dishonest, show no remorse and irresponsible among other characteristics. They all display anti-social behaviour as they lack any real conscience due to their upbringing and the bonding they had as children. Saddam showed the extreme unattached level by being a murderer and a rapist among other things. Children who do have a happy and secure upbringing with great bonding rarely end up as politicians , there are some though.
So yeah like Mya said, I hate politics.

Watching the trail makes me both happy and sad in a way, happy for the fact justice finally has come but sad for the fact that sometimes I think Saddam will die in jail rather then executed.

But during this holy month of Ramadan after each prayer I wish for his death to come sooner, and peace for our ppl, who have lived under his threat for to long.

And I will personally stand at the front of the crowd watching his execution live and for someone to say that that makes us just as bad has him then let that be up to God, easy to say from someone who has not had his family and friends tortured, raped and killed by him and his follower..

if any of u watch the non-bathist iraqi channels such as 'fay7a' 'alforat' and 'aliraqiya' u would understand a fraction of what it meant to have saddam as a leader, through their interveiws and documentaries. u see men and women with amputated limbs, their crime being 'visiting a holy shrine' or 'being a practicing shia muslim' or 'being a kurd.' these were the reasons given to murder and torture people in the most brutal ways. many children are till today being born disabled in some way, because of the gasing of the kurds in the 80's. the effects are visible in the present generations. while saddam and his people lived in luxurious palaces, the majority of the iraqi people lived in poverty, with little food and water, no electricity or gas. this idiot changed iraq from a wealthy developed country, into a country 25 years behind the rest of the world! i cant believe how some people dare call him a good leader. but then again its not surprising, the arab countries have always been traitors, anyone who gives them a goodybag or some cash becomes a 'hero'!
