I’m sure you’ve heard that on before!
I just want to know, what is it about Ramadan that drives people crazy?
You would think that logically, if you’re fasting then you wouldn’t have enough energy to go insane, shout, fight and honk all the time. It seems fasting reveals some hidden force inside people! A kind of magical energy reserved only for bad language, shouting and frustration!
I’m no expert but that’s not the way a good Muslim society should be acting during this holy month!
Every culture has a religious period of some kind but they are characterized by calm, peace and quiet. Why can’t we?
If you notice, most of the people causing the commotion are men! And they’re not even the ones who will go home and cook. If anyone has the right to scream and shout it should be the women who have to go home and cook….oh poor women!

Well, we may be exhausted from lack of food but we still breathe, walk, and talk. It's not like we're dead. Of course we want to get home as fast as we can to get ready for futoor. I don't know about the rest of the world, but in the ME, it's pretty hot and you WANT to get home quickly. No one would want to be stuck outside. So imagine, heat and traffic! Traffice will drive anyone crazy whether fasting or not. But you're right, we should contain ourselves and respect others...... ;)
i lived in middle east for quite some time so i know what you're talking about, and it is quite annoying, although when you're fasting, the main thing you think about is wanting to get home to eat! now that i live in the UK, there's no such thing like that here, so its ok where i live. however the good thing about living in the UK is that in most areas, you hardly hear the beeping noises that you get all the time in arab countries.
well im in uk, i never noticed ppl gettin angry and stuff..but i don't live with arabs or asian muslims..just my parents and its only ma dad who fasts caz ma mums english! but i can imagine how the arab countries r!! i mean in general in tunisia they r always bleeping..so wow, gosh im gona b livin there next year :S damn..i neva spent a ramadan in arab country
uumm isnt it like that all the time iv lived in lebanon for a long time and its always like that endless honking and people cussin where ever u go lol but ya it is kind of a little more crazier in ramadan cuz wen ur fasting or actually wen im fasting im in a bad mood cuz my stomach is empty and i havnt eaten all day so i just snap at everyone who bothers me so i guess a lot of people are like that too.... and for "me" omg ur soo lucky ur goin to live in an arab country for ramadn its soooo much fun cuz everyone is fasting and like it gives u a good feeling unlike living in the states and having to go through wathcing people eat infront of u, and questioning u all the time on why your starving yourself, overthere u hardly go through that cuz like mostly everyone is muslim (i think) and like the best part about it is eid!! omg thats the FUNNEST thing ever ok this comment is like an essay now so ima stop here lol....
