For those of you who aren’t so familiar with the show, Top Gear is one of the BBC’s most famous shows has been watched and loved by most people in the UK and the world for years now.
It shows down-to-earth reviews about cars in a practical and non-technical way that car-fanatics and average car drivers can easily relate to.
The two presenters drive the cars and test them to the limits and then give the audience a breakdown of the vehicle in terms of speed, petrol consumption, affordability of spare parts, comfort and price.
Richard Hammond, the 36-year-old presenter was badly injured on Wednesday when he crashed a jet-powered dragster as he accelerated towards 300 mph (about 483 KM) in a feature being filmed for the show. He suffered what his doctors have called a significant brain injury as a result of the accident. More details on his present state of health are not yet known. Now, the BBC is facing an investigation as to weather Hammond should have been allowed to take charge of the dragster in which he was trying to break the British land-speed record.
The BBC could face criminal charges and fines if they are found to have failed in their duty of care to Hammond.
Is it the BBC’s fault?
Don’t you just love the British Health and Safety system? There’s always someone you can sue if you’re injured. You couldn’t dream of that in the Arab World.

First, I hope that Richard Hammond will recover soom from his injuries. Second, there is no way in the Arab World where some sane person is willing to take full responsibility whenever accidents occur, they'll just ignore and put the blame on someone else.
