Well if the person noticed that you sneezed and deliberately said nothing that would be rude because it is nice to say "bless you" to a person after he or she sneezes. Islam teaches us that. But it is nothing to make a fuss about. If the person doesn't want to say anything, then so be it..... ;)

Islam also teaches that if u do sneeze and say illhamdulil'allah within earshot of another person and u receive no replies of blessing, then the 'sneezer' is awarded with a sawab shifted from he or she who heard it and ignored it. So either way I wouldn't mind as long as the tissues are nearby, but acknowledgement is nice tab3an.
Isn't it funny when someone sneezes and a bit of the saliva lands on u or when u sneeze and u automatically know u've spat on someone. Or when someone is talking away to u and all of a sudden a spit hits your face or hand and vice versa. It's really odd how even though we do it to people too that when we r on the receiving end we feel so awkward or disgusted and a wave of tension emerges over the conversation. It’s even more strange when it’s a teacher lecturing u and spits r flying on your face left, right and centre and all u can do is nod your head as if your head isn’t being drenched by a spitting water fountain. Oh well live and let live…harmless acts of being human I suppose…

That is a bit too much detail sam :). I really do not mind it when people do not say bless you. I actually do not like it though when you sneeze in a puplic place and you get so many bless yous, you do not know where to turn. Apparently people say bless you when you sneeze because your heart stops for a millisecond.

we MUSLIMS SAY : EL 72MDELLA WHEN WE SNEEZE " THANKS GOD " THEN THE OTHER PESON SAYS YAR7AMKOM ALLAH "MAY GOD BE MERCIFUL ON YOU" THEN THE PERSON WHO SNEEZED WOULD SAY YAHDENA O YAHDEKOM ALLA " MAY GOD LEAD US BOTH TO THE RIGHT WAY"

A poll about whether you bit*ched about people and then knew that tragedy struck them would be interesting(I have and the guilt and shame were overbearing for about 2 seconds). Also about whether you would be upset if you opened the door for someone and they did not say thank you.

I alwaysssss open doors for people particularly when leaving or entering a store because I am conscious of those behind me, and I get concerned about letting a door go only to find it in someone’s face. It's shaming to let the door go once you’re through only to look back and find someone is behind you pushing a pram or if they are elderly. I might've cared once upon a time about people saying thank you or not but as I've grown I just do things for Allah and hope that I'll be awarded for those minor but good deeds. If they don't acknowledge what you are doing and reply with Thanks then it's more of a reflection on them, and not you. The last time I opened the door for someone as I recall it was 2 Chinese ladies (tourists!) and they just went through as if the Oxygen was holding the door open for them. The guy following afterwards said 'I'll say Thank you!' and I smiled and said 'Thank You' back like a dweeb but hey that’s all that’s required. The one thing that really grates on me is when an old person gets on a bus or train and you see all these young teens and 20 or 30 something years olds occupying the seats with not intent on getting off to let the elders sit, it's sooooooooo selfish and rude. The image of an old lady getting on board only to stand up surrounded by young, healthy, strong, trim boys with their cheeks glued to the seats is shameful, it really makes me wanna get up and give them a piece of brick in bag over their empty heads.
