Here are the first photos of the concert that Mariah Carey held yesterday in the Tunisian Capital Tunis.
If you attended the concert, it will be great if you can share some details about it with us, such as the number of attendance, what Mariah sang & how the whole atmosphere was in the El Menzah stadium.

Interesting, the middle east 's bleeding and the tunisian were celebrating with Mariah Carey, nice ya "arab"!!
tamara when palestinians and iraqis were suffering lebanon was also celebrating so .... ! anyways mariah old fat hoe!
well i don think that all the tunisians celebrated with this amercian singer but we have to admit that everything now is business .. so you would hear a lot of people saying ( oh god look wat is happening in our countries )but if this will stand against thier business..so belive me they wont care !!
im egyptian and i feel a deep pain because of my government situation from what is happening in lebanon and before that iraq and before that palastine and from this stuiped miss arab celebration in sharm el shiek ...ACTUALLY i do really think that some kinds of arts make a lot of help in war time ... like what all the greatest arab singers did before .. thier voices and thier songs made a great efforts in wars .. like FAIROUZ AND OM KALSOM , ABD EL HALEM ..
GOD BLESS THIER SOULS.
and i have this feeling now .. we need the great people who dead .. we need thier strengh and thier brave situation especially in wars ... and i don mean only the singers but i meant GAMAL ABD EL NASR .. i meant ANWAR EL SADAT .. i meant HAFEZ EL ASAD ..those were a true leaders ..leaders which you know that they will think and make diseccens only for the arab countries sake.. NOT for thier sake.. we don need betrayels .. we don need liers ..enough from them now ...
Well life never stops. I am Lebanese and I agree with Mariah, enough hypocracy.
if we felt for one second that life is really stoped by what is happening in our countries one by one ...i think then we will feel our problem well and we will face our enemy by uniting as arabs .
not by crying for 2 days and thats it .. and not by saying oohhhh and eehhhh and that shit .
there is no use ..if we didnt wake up ..i don
say to carry a gun and go to lebanon and iraq and palastine ..( we should actually ) but im saying that we should wake up at least ... we got to see that our enamy is being stronger every second because we are weak ...
and to sms
you said ( Well life never stops ) ..ive nothing to say to you but one question..ARE YOU REALLY A Lebanese ????
and pls ask our brothers in palastine DOES the life stopped for them or not .
because im sure that thier answer will be LIFE HAS TO STOP .. till we take our countries .
because they are trully arab ..not arabs by name .
thanks ,
It is true that the concert took place in a very critical moment where our brothers, the libanese, are suffering, but we have to admit that the event was prepared before the attack, and people who organized the concert took it from a commercial viewpoint.
In addition to that, there are people who attended the concert and others who donated money to the libanese people as Tunisa put an open account to help the libanese!
We are not indifferent to what happened in Lebanon!
well well well... how to start now ok the concert was very succesful more than 38 thouand attended and they did welcome mariah and her music so much who also announced that she is so happy being there in tunisia and really think it is a very beautiful country but please do not start now by with all of your ignorant story of hypocracy torward ....we are trying toi unite not to divide plus the concert was planned since march and yes about 6000 euoropean attended the firt day of the concert but you before the concert you could of hear many peopele talking about lebanon yes everyone in tunisia in really sad and angry and sorry for what is happening in lebanon tunisian people and lebanese people love each other so much and share so many simiar thing together mostly like their phenician heritage and tunisian goverment ha announced a week ago a specail account to raise money to support and help the lebanese people for all the tunisian citizen iniside and outside tunisia thru their embasy ... and you really see it that when you ask people you will find out that they are really concerned and sad about lebanon but from my point of view i dont see why they should ancel any of their summer concert or festival thatwasplanned way before the attacks on lebanon plus attending a concert have nothing to do with people felling a month ago lebanon had 50 cent celebrating in lebanon and many others and lebanes people mostly from beirut of course where happy dancing jumping and drinking ...while kids nd womens in iraq and palestine were being killed and raped and all of that .... i do not think that lebanese people where happy for that even dough i think that lebanon was way too close by and to iraq and palestine way more than tunisia is close to lebanon by distance and by land ...but iam sure that the lebanese people were so sad when palestine and iraq were being attacked
but it wasin their niside and not in their outide to see it so thats how life goes so please stop arguing about things that they wont make any sense and use your logic and looking to make more hattery bettween our nation we looking to unite not divide
I'd like just to talk about the concert, what happens in lebannon is just horrible, but what can I do, just to give money and i did it!
So, the concert was magical, there were about 38000people! She started the show with "it's like that". Than she alternated new and old songs like my all, dreamlover, anytime you need a friend... In the second part of the concert she changed her clothes and weared a wite dress and she sang her slow songs like hero, all the crew sang with her, it was fabulous!
She ended the concert with "without you" and "we belong together" and the chorus ended the show with "butterfly".
She has a wonderful voice!! She was very happy to be in tunisia and she thanked all the tunisians for their hospitality and their kindness! it was A beautiful evening
loulla, do u think right now anyone gives a $hit about what mariah was singing and which sequence did she choose for her songs? damn u are weird!
To all who are criticiaing the concert and this silly girl criticising Egypt and Tunis and saying she is Egyptian:
Lebanon never cared neither about Egypt nor about Tunisa nor about Palestine nor about anyone else.
All they care about was how to steel the camera, the concerts, the business, tourism,.. etc. Plus pickpocketing Arabs through their damn mad reality shows.
I dont want anyone to play the role of the innocent now because the role does not suit any.
I pity Lebanese but when it comes to business lets adapt their motto "WE DONT CARE EXCEPT ABOUT OURSELVES".
Dont you remember the days of war in Iraq, all TV channels were morning and reporting but LBC, they were cooking, dancing and showing us the latest fashion in "how to be naked".
Despite giving us spare lessons, go and give these lessons to Haifa, to Nancy and to the rest and you all know what I am talking about.
"2sl7o ma be anfoskom el 2ol"
"eslho ma be anfoskom el aol"
silly girl* - silly guy
"mr.justice" there's a lot of other forums to talk about the situation in lebanon! the title of this article is "Mariah Carey Concert in Tunisia" and it's written " If you attended the concert, it will be great if you can share some details about it with us, such as the number of attendance, what Mariah sang & how the whole atmosphere was in the El Menzah stadium." and that's what i did. So stop being hypocrite! I'm fed up about all your moral lessons! Each one of us deal with his conscience!
speaking the truth
belive me you are the only silly stuiped idiot here ....you and the poeple like you ..are the reason for our weaknes ....
to come idiot like you and divide the ARABS commuinty, by saying SHIT .
you said you dont want anyone to play the role of the innocent now ...well you need to open your eyes well idiot cuz ..baby you are blind belive me . i don wanna you to persuade yourself that you are the only smart one here cuz YOU ARE NOT.
you said you feel pety for them ..what a lier you are ???? if so you should support them and think how can you help them not by cretisism them .
and we really as arabs need lessons idiot to wake up..but you poor don see that because you are stupied ...you only cars about your hates to lebanon ..so go and fu*k yourself by those hates.
so dont tell us to 2asl7o ma 2anfoskom ...because you should go and break your head and bring other one ..to understand what we are sayin and doin here.
IT IS NOT THE TIME TO DIVIDE US IDIOT .
King of nothing,
I do not understand, do you think you hold the monopoly on being an upset Lebanese over what is happening. I think it is easy to forget that yes Lebanese people were going on with their lives while people were dying in Iraq and Palestine, as did the Egyptians and all other countries. All these countries went on with parties, concerts and TV shows. I think just because WE, Lebanese people, feel despair, anger and sadness over what is happening, it is irrational and unfair to expect other Arabs to stop living their lives, because they will not.
However "speaking the truth" showed the utmost hypocracy trying to pretend that people in her/his country did not go on with their lives. That their countries did not care about business and tourism. A lot of people forget that other people have ears, eyes (well most do anyway) and a bloody memory. I watched other Arabic channels beside the LBC during the first faze of the Iraqi invasion, and a 90% of them were showing dancing and fashion shows. That person contradicted themselves more than once. Yes I agree with you that they did not show much intelligence. I think the last part of her post applies to her as well. That person was probably one of the people insulting the hell out of other Arabs over SuperStar and StarAcademy whilre other arabs were dying.
As Lebanon went on with life while Iraqis and Palestinians were killed, now that Lebanon is being destroyed, Egypt, Tunisia and all other countries are going on with business as usual. These countries did not stop for the Iraqi and Palestinian blood, they will not and we should not expect them to do it now.
*while
Well I just read your comments"king of nothing" and just realised you said you are Egyptian. Well it does not change anything about what I said. I as a Lebanese may feel utter sadness over what is happening, however I do not expect others to stop living their lives. I believe you are asking for Arab unity but that does not give you the right to try and shame me for being a realist.
I don't see the connection between Mariah Carey
and the Israeli goverment .She is an entertainer
not a political figure .Arabs are always the
victims of their emotions .If you are concerned
about the situation in the middle east , do
something about it , and trust me , attacking
Mariah Carey won't help .
