Because of the continuous Israeli attack on Lebanon, the management of Jerash Festival decided to cancel its events this year for the 2nd time since 1982 in support of the Lebanese people.
This move comes to reassure the depth of the Jordanian and Lebanese relationship and also to give more proof that the Festival is connected to the rest of the Arab World.
Jerash Festival was going to celebrate its 25th anniversary this year.
It’s worth mentioning the Jordanian people are expressing their support everyday with continuous demonstrations against the cruel Israeli attacks on Lebanon.
Is this a joke? people have died all around the arab world for years and years, but they dont care about that and they dont cancel any jjerash concerts for them!!, they are canceling it because of the fact that many of the singers come from lebanon.. How fake it is to try to make it look as if they are doing it to support the people... some people just dont have any limits of their fake-ness.

First of all, I am a jordanian and when watching the news about whats going on in Lebanon.. I feel bad as if they are doing that to my OWN country...

Jerash has been canceled because most of the singers that will sing in the festival are lebanses and they are cannot come to jordan bcz of the WAR..!! Nancy.. ELissa... Milhm Barak... Dina hayyek.. George Wassof.. etc...
can i say i am palistinian and my country has been in war all this time...but i have been watching and listenin to music like the rest of the world..BUT these lebanon attacks ARE SO MUCH MORE IMPORTANT because its a proper war not just bombings on gaza and pali..this is GONNA BE WORLD WAR 3 thats why people are stopping everything eg starac and festivals..so all them people saying that other wars have been hapening and no music was stopped..thats because they were not HUGE WARS SWIPING A WHOLE COUNTRY ENVOLVING AROUND 6 COUNTRIES..lebanon,israel,america,Uk,syria,iran!

You know for a while now, I have been impressed by the Jordanian king. The late knig of Jordan and his son the present king have shown a lot of courage to secure their country from outside interferences. I am impressed with their motto "Jordan First". As a non jordanian I know I do not know much about the situation in the country however all of us should put our countries first, in order for our countries to stand strong, and only then will we be able to do something for ourselves and others.
