American Idol 6 Auditions Start This August

American Idol 6

American Idol wannabes will have to wait for three more weeks before they can finally show off their skills and talents and use their charm to impress the judges in the auditions. Producers of the hottest reality talent search on TV announce today that they will begin scouting for American Idol season six contestants in Los Angeles on August 8. From Los Angeles, they’ll go to San Antonio, Texas; East Rutherford, New Jersey; Birmingham, Alabama; Memphis, Tennessee; Minneapolis, Minnesota; and Seattle, Washington. Auditions will be until September 19, 2006.

Candidates, aging from 16 to 28, will have to audition first to Fox’s producers. From all those hopeful wannabes, about 1,000 will be chosen to go to the next round of the audition. Then Executive Producers Nigel Lythgoe and Ken Warwick will pick 250 candidates who shall have the chance to convince the ever meticulous judges Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson that they’re worthy to be called an “American Idol.”
