Hot Wheels Festival to Celebrate America’s Auto History

Hot Wheels Festival

Americans love cars. In fact, the Transportation Department says there are more automobiles than Americans to drive them in the average U.S. household! America’s rich auto history substantiates this fact. And for a people who probably valued cars more than any other possession, nothing could be more exciting than celebrating America’s love for cars and America’s automobile industry’s colorful history through a festival.

This coming August 6 in the Speed City, Kansas, Americans would have a chance to relive their rich auto history through the Hot Wheels Festival, hosted by Mattel, Inc, the maker of Hot Wheels®, Barbie® and other popular toys ad family products. Mattel expects thousands of visitors, car collectors and auto enthusiasts to take part in the day-long auto festival. There will be a lot of activities starting off with a parade of a life-sized Hot Wheels® cars, classic cars and hot rods show, a beauty pageant, and motorcycle show. Mattel is also giving away a commemorative Hot Wheels® car! Make sure to be early so that you won’t miss that one of a kind collectible item.
